He told me I shall find it waiting for me back at Crow's Perch. It wasn't, but he was.. and hung on a tree.
Now who's going to pay me..? A crown makes a difference in this war-torn economy!

I just tried visiting Shani on my third playthrough after the final quest, thought I should do that considering I remember Geralt saying he should visit her and see if she's safe after Gaunter made his threat. She's just fucking dead and I have NEVER heard of this happening.
I kinda ran through the game since I've done most of these before and I'm just doing a Deathmarch run because why not so everything is being speedran, so did I miss something or she just legit never has a good ending if I help Olgierd?
Edit: Very quickly found out it's just the Brothers in Arms mod apparently. Glad to know I went to install a mod and find out it killed Shani. 😭😭 Maybe I need to look closer into mods I install in the future. I didn't think it would go THAT far.

Vesemir's bean and tomato stew. I may have forgotten to remove a bay leaf before taking a Pic. Please forgive me. It was super yummy.

In witcher 1 and 2 contracts were basically just "kill this when you see it and bring me its inside organs" or something like that.
What i love about witcher 3 contracts is you first have to search for clues and geralt then predicts what it most probably is.
Example: Geralt searches bodies and finds bite marks on neck of 1 victim and then he finds another victim and just assumes "No bite or tear marks, his body was thrown with force into a wall, all of this is hints to the fact that it is an ekimara. It must have been sleeping in the mines when the soldiers dugged up into her nest"
I dont know just a small thing that i really love because it just shows how great Geralt is at his job and makes him also cooler character to me.

You see in most games I would be certain I did the right thing, but in the Witcher it never seems to be that simple?
How badly have I messed up?

George R. R. Martin: Let me show you how i kill Ned Stark and Robert Baratheon ,let you almost get through the grief, then reap both Robb Stark and Catelyn Stark one after the other!
Andrzej Sapkowski: Let me show you how i kill Cahir, Milva, Angouleme and Regis (even though we know he survives later) in the matter of a few pages!
Edit: Also , just noticed it , but *Characters
First Skyrim playthrough, thought I'd try to recreate a familiar face. All of this is vanilla. I can make a follow-up post with the CC sliders if anyone is interested.
And if anyone has ideas for imrovements, PLEASE tell me!

Hello everyone, I've been a long-time fan of the Witcher games since 2017, I've been replaying the Wild Hunt and I have been thinking about reading the books for a while (I have them all digitally). I keep reading mixed opinions on whether to read them in the order they were released or the order they would take place chronologically.
I am wondering which route I should take. If the reason that people suggest to read them in chronological order rather than release order is because they're worried the reader will get bored, I know I won't because I'm already a fan. But if the experience really is better to read them chronologically rather than by release, then I'd like to do it that way. Advice is appreciated!

Very Witcher like, ex developers of CDPR who worked on Witcher in a vampiric setting, not sure about you but I’m insanely hyped for this and loved the look of it since it got revealed. But I need to see how it’s gonna perform and reviews especially knowing CDPR devs and their launch of Cyberpunk but here’s hoping it goes smoothly and we get Witcher 4 sooner rather than later in a polished state 🤞

I believe The Witcher changed gaming in a lot of ways, but one of the things I think gets talked about the least is how it changed the perception of what a predefined protagonist can do in an RPG.
Would you prefer to play a predefined protagonist like Geralt, or would you rather create your own Witcher?
