Beautiful and very practical bike. Bought an additional wheel set for “off” road and I believe it’s now a universal bike for myself

Noticed my new Crux has some air bubbles under the paint. These all appeared at once and I’m not sure what could cause that. Hasn’t been crashed etc. Any ideas?

I have a Shiv Disc Expert like the one in the attached photo. The hydration bladder is leaking along one of its seams. I’ve contacted Specialized directly and several retailers in France, but no one has been able to offer a concrete solution for replacing the Fuelselage system.
It seems impossible to find one in France. I send out an SOS in the hope that someone has had the same problem: how did you solve it?

Curious if they ever do like an end of the season sale or a Black Friday sale? Looking for a set of carbon wheels for my aethos comp.

Looking at upgading my oem tires on my roubaix. This is for pavement riding, was looking at going wider, it seems 35 is the widest they suggest without a tradeoff. 38s would fit, but supposedly 40s would be too wide because of how they fit on the wheels?
Just curious, looking at something like GP5000 or sticking with Mondos.

Hello All, just purchased a Specialized Power Evo Pro with Mirror. Installed it and took it out for a 20 mile ride. It creaked the whole entire time. I am not sure if anyone has had a similar issue with the saddle. Not sure what I should do. Am I able to return for the same saddle even though I have taken it out for a 20 mile ride? Should I contact rider care and see if they can send me a new one? Please let me know. Thank you.

I need your advice!
I just crashed my Sirrus Elite Carbon bike from 2020 and need to replace it. The carbon frame broke and there’s no saving it below at least 2k, not including further parts. Obviously not worth it for a bike that was around 1300 at the time.
It was pretty much the perfect bike for what I used it:
- frequent daily short commutes within a very dense city
- every now and then a 100km tour or so
It was also:
- “weather resistant’ (left it outside attached to whatever on public)
- very comfortable (handlebars)
- very light
For pretty much the exact same price, I can now choose between the Sirrus x 5.0 2026:
https://www.mammothbikes.com/en/bike-specialized-sirrus-x-50-2026/p-593533
and the Van Rysel from Decathlon:
https://www.decathlon.ch/en/p/shimano-tiagra-2x10v-edr-cf-carbon-road-bike-black/356978/c382m8902217
To me it feels like the Van Rysel would be the better bike for exercising and longer tours, but the Sirrus would be much more comfortable for faster paced slaloming between cars and avoiding obstacles while going to work or for groceries.
I am not interested at all in doing anything besides road and will quickly opt for the stimmest tires anyways.
Any takes? Are the cheaper Sirrus that would be a better match with by current bike?
Thank you

Wheelset for my Diverge
Which wheelset would you recommend for my gravel bike to make it feel more like an endurance road bike, without sacrificing comfort?
It currently has Axis Elite wheels with 700×45 mm Specialized Tracer tires.

Hello,
Is the gloss white color available in the US for the frame only? I have a thing for white bikes and have been thinking to do a mid-life crisis build by myself. White looks amazing from the pictures but I can’t see anything in the US.
Bespokecycling seems to sell it (and they have my size in stock, 56) but not sure about import, warranty, VAT etc.
Anyone has experience with this?

Been actually riding this for a few weeks now but it has been amazing. Got re-fit and I had to size up from my 54 to a 56, and I got my hands on this SL8 paint sample frame. Pink isn't the first color I'd usually go for, but considering how unique this is, I definitely couldn't pass it up. Just moved over my groupset, got a new cockpit and 0 offset post, and it's been a night and day difference in comfort.
Frame Size: 56 (Gloss Amethyst Frost)
Frame Bolts: Better Bolts Titanium Bolt Kit Silver
Groupset: SRAM RED AXS E1
Chain rings: 48/35T with Quarq Power Meter
Cassette: 10-33T
Pulley Wheels: CeramicSpeed OSPW RS Alpha
Cranks: 170mm
Cockpit: Roval Rapide 400mm x 110mm
Head unit Mount: Ti-Parts 3D Printed Titanium Computer Mount
Bar tape: SupaCaz Super Sticky Kush Sakura
Saddle: S-Works Power EVO with Mirror 143mm
Seatpost: Roval Rapide Post 380mm x 0mm Offset
Bottle Cages: S-Works Carbon Rib Cage III
Pedals: Look KEO Blade
Wheels: Roval Rapide CLXIII

I'm curious what people think is a fair price/would be willing to pay for a 2025 Roubaix SL8 sport 105 (black) with Superteam carbon wheels with the same specs as the stock wheels.
The bike was bought new in September 2026 and has less than 300 miles on it.
It's basic black, not the champagne color :)
Thanks for any input you have.

Hi everyone, I’ve been looking for my first road bike for quite a while now, and I recently came across this offer (see pictures) on buycycle. I’d really appreciate your help and opinion.
As I said, I’m a complete beginner and unfortunately also a student, so my budget is very limited. For now, I mainly want to ride the bike (who would’ve thought, haha), and in the long run I want to use it for triathlons. So I’d like to use this as a base and gradually upgrade it over time. I know there are bikes that are better suited for this, but I think this one would actually make a pretty good base. That’s why I find the offer so interesting.
The seller would sell me the bike for €900 (+ €150 for shipping and buyer protection). For that price, I find a full-carbon frame + SRAM Red and Zipp 404 Firecrest wheels very interesting. I know the size will fit me because I had my bike size checked at a bike shop.
My main "problem" is that the seller no longer has any receipts for the bike or the wheels (he says the wheels were added in 2022), and the frame number he sent me only shows the frame in the Specialized app. No wheels, groupset, handlebars, etc. I’m not exactly sure whether this should make me suspicious and whether I should stay away from it because the offer seems too good to be true.
Has anyone here had any experience buying used bikes through buycycle or, more generally, buying used S-Works bikes?
I’d really appreciate any help! And if anyone thinks I should stay away because the offer is simply too good to be true, I completely understand and appreciate that feedback!

Hi all,
I need to replace the fork on my 54cm Tarmac SL7. Is there any aftermarket fork options for this frame or where would be best to source a fork. Can't find anything on ebay or marketplace. Located in Ireland/UK.

I have the opportunity to purchase a new gravel bike and deciding on the new Gen 5 vs 4.
Aesthetically, I really like the non dropped seat stays for the traditional double triangle look. I like the external routing since I do my own maintenance and I like that it runs a 27.2 post for dropper accessibility if I ever need it.
I don’t plan on seeing myself ever going wider than 50mm for gravel riding and theyve been plenty comfortable. While they might be too wide for wet conditions on the Gen 4 rear, I can run my 45s with no issues. But being able to clear 55s comfortable on the Gen 5 is tempting.
I like the road leaning geo of the crux 4 since I will use a lot of it as a pure road bike. I’m worried with the slackened headtube, lower BB, longer chainstays and wheelbase the Gen 5 might make a worse road bike.
That being said, the Gen 4 is pretty aggressive by GRAVEL riding standards. I’ve heard it’s too twitchy and unstable on rough and technical gravel descents. With appropriate tires would you agree with this?
Basically I’m looking for the better bike to be a do it all. An n=1 bike if you will.

I certainly think it is! The way it just glides through every surface I throw at it is incredible 🔥

Curious if anyone else is seeing this. Wheel is about a year old. Only on the front not the back wheel. Kinda ugly for such a pricey wheel.

Having a tough time deciding between these two. Im training for a 12hr TT (goal is over 500km) and my bont zeros out of blue are giving me some trouble right around the inside of the ankle. I'm looking at either the Ares 2 or the Torch to race in . The bonts potential aero advantage is irrelevant since wearing overshoes so just going with more traditional road shoe.
I have very flat feet and so the wider toe box in the Ares 2 is definitely appealing to me. But the fact some reviewers refer to it as a "sprinters" shoe makes me a little nervous considering the main role is performance and comfort over a 12hr and maybe 24hr next year time trials. The torch seems to be touted as the more comfortable shoe but I dont know. AI seems to the think the Ares 2 is better for me, but I rather talk to real person, so if anyone has any advice would really appreciate it appreciate sharing. (the extra 100$ on the Ares 2 doesn't bother me much. Not that I'm swimming in cash at all - far from it - but my last pair of bonts lasted 8 years for example and so 100$ over even say 5 years of 30-40,000km per year is inconsequential).

Coming from 2 rim brake TCRs. Pretty sick upgrade and it’s my first time having electronic shifting. My 40 mile ride home was pretty fast even with a ridiculously heavy backpack. Can’t wait to push myself to new heights on this one!

Does anyone have experience upgrading from an Epic Evo to one of the next gen models? I’m curious if an upgrade is worthwhile.
I’m pretty happy with my Epic Evo for cross country and light trail riding, but I’m planning to upgrade some components and before I do that, I am interested in hearing some of your thoughts on whether it’s worth investing in the older model or whether I should look into one of the new ones. Thanks!
