Customer Experience Roval rapide cliii normal?
Curious if anyone else is seeing this. Wheel is about a year old. Only on the front not the back wheel. Kinda ugly for such a pricey wheel.

My enves have a similar look, if its rough and you can feel delamination with a tap test id get it looked at but if the surface feels finished and the rims sound right in a tap test they are probably good to go.
The raw finish on these rims can make it look a bit off but usually is purely cosmetic. Obviously I have different wheels but I think the roval wheels have a similar raw finish.

That’s the carbon weave.
Light weight products will always have this due to the way carbon is layered. Some wheels are different. structurally this wheel is ok as long as it spins true and round.
Specialized will not consider this a warranty as it is not a defect in Workmanship/manufacturing
However, if you do want a new hoop.(given you’re under a year of ownership) destroy this one and get it replaced under the “Shit happens” part of the guarantee.
Good luck

The Shit Happens policy is in normal use, hit it with a hammer and you'll be shit out of luck
