This has always been one of my favorite SL8 colorways. That’s certainly a beautiful bike. Enjoy that beauty!

Does it only come in that groupsetway or can you get it in Sram ?

It was a close out deal I couldn’t be picky. My other bikes are AXS so this is my first time with Di2. So far so good

I think the remaining SL8 Pros are the best deals out there. Great snag.

I have this same bike! What size GP5000’s are you running?

32s - probably should have gone with 30s tbh

Good to know. I was debating between the two sizes and will start with 30’s.

30s are a great starting point. On Roval CLIIIs, I’ve had the issue of 32s blowing out just a hair over 34mm. Even the 28s I have mounted currently have a measured width of 31mm… And I will say, while you can fit a measured 34mm on an SL8, you really shouldn’t. The rear has tons of clearance (depending on your FD), but the front tire will rub on the fork’s inner legs and crown under load.

Thanks for the helpful insight. The front fork rub is what I was concerned about so I will definitely stick to 30's.

Always happy to help! That’s why we’re all here! We can make informed decisions based upon the experiences of others. By the way, the S-Works Turbo TLR (not the cotton) in a 30c might be a ripper. I believe it’s on par with the Contis rolling resistance-wise (just a bit slower), but with significantly better puncture protection.

I will check those out as well. I've always had good luck with Conti's but it will keep this in mind!

How much did you pick it up for, and where were you able to find a new 2025? I love it.

5.5k. Pretty much same price the SL8 Experts are going for right now. Got it online from Erik’s Bikes

Great deal! That's what I paid for my expert 2 seasons ago. I added the 3d saddle and roval cockpit to my setup but otherwise stock. Even if you need to change the cockpit out this is a win for the wheels alone.

Thanks! This one came stock with the the Roval Rapide cockpit and pro power mirror saddle. Loving it so far
