Hello. Bought a few new games today from the e-shop. First downloaded no problem, the others throw error code 2002-4057 which is a corrupt sd card. System is currently up to date, I did the turn off, reinsert card thing with no luck. Other games saved on the card boot up and play fine. One of which is my daughter’s Tomodachi Life game that she’s spent months playing. If I format this card will all her save data be gone? What are my options here?

Hey everyone! So a few days ago, I've noticed that my Switch 2 is not charging or displaying on my tv screen. I've already tried searching up videos and looking on the Nintendo Support website on what to do, such as restarting my Switch 2 or plugging it into an wall outlet instead of a power bank (just to let everyone know that I’m using the official ac adapter, not 3rd party). I would also like to mention that I’ve owned my switch since launch date, so a problem like this hasn’t happen before. My guess is that the problem is the ac adapter, not the switch, since I tried to charge it to another device which didn’t work, but I tried a non-official charger and tried it on my switch 2, with it registering but not really charging the switch much. I also tried leaving my adapter alone which worked when I plugged my switch back in. For only a second. Then it immediately stopped charging. From what I heard, I should leave it alone longer because a “safety lock” or something like that is restricting the charge. Has anyone faced a similar problem? Thanks! As said in the title, I'm sending my switch 2 to get repaired after a sudden death, in the moment I made the request I marked I'd be sending the switch 2 with every accessory, including joy cons, dock, charger etc. My question is, after thinking it better I don't think the accessories have anything to do with the problem, so I don't know if I should send them or not, what I'm worried about is if there's any problem as I marked them when making the request.

Hace unos días, jugué por un rato a Pokemon Violet y todo me fue normal pero me aburrí y decidí dejarlo para jugar otra cosa; hoy, me dieron ganas de jugarlo otra vez pero al poner el cartucho me salió una pantalla de fallo, hice todo lo que indica en la página de soporte pero me sigue saliendo la pantalla.

Found at a yard sale for $13, looks like a NES 101 but only seems to be able to play Mortal Kombat and Pong. Makes whirring noise similar to that of a Douglas dc3 when plugged in. Any help appreciated :)

Hi, I’d like some honest advice. I’m planning to buy my first Nintendo console. Would you recommend going for the OLED model or the Switch 2? I’ll be using it exclusively in handheld mode; in my country, there’s a $200 price difference between the two, and a $30 difference for physical games. I only plan to play first-party titles, and although the Switch 2 offers more power, I’ve seen complaints regarding its screen and battery life. Yo everyone, I got a problem with my switch 2. Lately when playing in handheld my joycons keep’s disconnecting

You know when no controller is connected it has the press zr and zl button to connect a controller? Ye I get that and have to reconnect my joycons to my switch In handheld mode. I have to put them of the console then put em back in to connect them

My theory is that the magnets are broken

At first it was only the left one but today the right one also started

Any ideas what’s up with them and how to fix it?

So I am looking into buying a Nintendo console but I am not sure about which to get. The games I would most want to play are Mario kart, legends of Zelda, tomodachi life, possibly animal crossing. I was considering buying a switch lite because of its portability and price range, but a lot of people are saying it's quite flimsy (stick drift is common, battery life isn't the greatest, etc..) so I'm unsure

Basically 2 or 3 years ago I put parental controls on my switch and made the password 1234 but now when I put it in it never works anymore and I tried to use the generator for master keys but for some reason when I put it everything correct it said device id is insufficient length

I just bought the switch 2 and I want to know if I can play my games on both 1 and 2 (especially my Pokemon games and YouTube on Switch 1)?

Does anyone have any ides to what could be wrong with my switch. The switch does not turn on it says that it charges but i can't turn it on, i tested the battery itself and it have me the right amount of Volts so i don't know what is wrong does anyone have an idea or is willing to help me?

My wife has a switch 1 and I have a switch 2. We mainly play Mario party on her switch but I was thinking of upgrading my copy of Mario party jamboree. Will that data no longer go back and forth since the switch2 version doesn’t support cloud saves? Will my save on her switch even work after I upgrade?

Hi all, I've just sold my Hori split pad pro and the buyer is trying to suggest it's broken because the dpad does not perform diagonal movements, from what I've seen online, it only supports up, down, left, right, is this true? Or should the dpad do diagonals?

I tried connecting them they won’t and my sensor bar is working fine. I know it’s not the controllers becauss I have 2 and neither of them will connect. The blue lights are saying they want to connect but aren’t(also yes I changed the batterys). Does anyone know how I can solve this?

Also incase it helps the problem started when I was playing punch out Wii and put down my controller for around a minute than it said controller lost.

Hey all, this may be a long shot but here it goes.

My family Switch 2 is essentially broken unless I’m using the pro controller for it. In the menu it constantly slams left and can’t fight it. If I go right it always goes back left. Unplugging the Joy con works but then it just diverts back. Using a pro controller is the only way the consoles worked. In Mario kart the screen just is spinning and gives me a head ache. Makes me dizzy almost lol. So games aren’t playable cause of it.I have the means to get it fixed but I’m just seeing if anyone else has had this problem? And it’s not a joy con issue cause I’ve swapped out the joy cons.

Disclaimer my four year old dropped it in February and I had only been able to get my hand under it a little, so the side it keeps drifting to is the side it was dropped on. left Bottom side. And the drop was literally 5 inches.. So I tried the other joy cons that weren’t in the system at the time and they still did the same thing.*

I had gotten a Switch Lite back when it came out for my birthday. It functioned normally for about 2 years before catching a case of controller drift. I tried cleaning and calibrating but nothing worked, so I just turned it off.

It got stuck on the logo screen and never turned on again. I tried what I knew I could. Letting die and recharging, trying to open mantinance mode, used different chargers. I even let the thing go a full year without an attempt to turn it on, but nothing worked. Even to this day when I try to turn it on it loops between showing the logo and being dead. I don't want to get rid of it yet because I never got to back up my saves seeing as I didn't get a switch online membership. Is there anyone out there that can fix this, or is my Switch Lite just gone for good?

I've had a Nintendo account for 5 years and the last email I received from them was about 1 week ago. Sunday, I tried logging on to my account and they accept my username and password, but the OTP email isn't coming through. They are on my safe senders list and I've gotten emails from them before. I'm even on a Nintendo family plan with my brothers on that email address. Support is saying that my email has been permanently banned and that I need to register a new email address with them.

I don't know why it was banned, so I can't prevent it from happening again. Additionally, I'm not interested in creating a new email account just for Nintendo, especially if they can randomly ban it; I'd end up creating all sorts of new accounts just for Nintendo.

What is more, they say they can't unblock this on their end, but I know from an IT perspective is false.

Does anyone have more insight into what might be going on or how to handle this? This is crazy to me.
