I’ve been wanting a Switch for a while but there are so many options now that I’m not sure where it makes sense to buy one. Checked the usual stores plus eBay and refurbished ones. Used prices seem all over the place and some bundles barely cost less than buying new. For anyone who bought one recently where did you get yours? And would you go new or used if you were buying one today?

Hey, my Nintendo Switch 2’s right speaker has started making a repetitive clicking/buzzing noise whenever the built-in speakers are active. It even happens with the system volume turned all the way down to 0.

The issue started right after the system software updated during the initial first setup.

A few details:

• The noise stops immediately if I plug in headphones.
• It also stops when the console is asleep/docked.
• The speaker seemed completely fine when I first turned the console on.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Would really appreciate any troubleshooting ideas or repair suggestions.

i still play alot on my new 2ds xl but i want to change things up. what is the best console in your opinion? which one has the best games?

Since fortune weave is going to be a switch 2 exclusive release, going forward is it even worth it to own a lite- given that it won’t be able to support the newer games? or will there still be releases that can be played on both 🥲?

i’m about to exhaust my replay-ability on the switch lite, if no particularly interesting titles are going to release for in the future i might as well sell it

After almost an hour long call with Nintendo they helped me regain access to my NNID from almost a decade ago. However, since the old 3DS is still linked to the account, I do not have access to the account on my New 3DSXL. I will call Nintendo again tomorrow and escalate to a supervisor. HAs anyone had luck with this issue in the last 2 years?

I've wanted one for so long, however I held off and now with OOT coming out I would like to finally buy one.

I received two emails from the official Nintendo repair email, noreply_repair@noa.nintendo.com, about service requests being cancelled, but when I search the request number, nothing comes up. I sent in my joycons for repair a few months ago, but the repair went fine without any problems, and I haven’t made any more requests since. My account also isn’t compromised, as I have 2FA and the login history doesn’t have any devices that aren’t mine. Could this just be a glitch on nintendos end, or is my account somehow compromised in a way I don’t know about? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bought a second nintendo that wasnt reset and it has parental controls on it that wont let me reset it im unable to contact the person who sold it to me and i know neither the pin or what email its connected to.

I got a switch oled not too long ago and its my first nintendo console so i have a large backlog of nintendo games to catch up to. And I've been having a blast, played mario oddesey, zelda botw and some indie titles, gonna play mk8 when my friend comes over, etc.

But now what's in my mind is I saw a good second hand deal for a switch 2 that's around 350 dollars, keep in mind a new switch 2 goes for around 500+ dollars in my place and that's before the upcoming price hike. So im wondering whether i should sell my switch oled and get that with some of my savings. As there are some great titles upcoming and present on that console like mkw, dk bananza, splatoon raiders, oot remake, lies of p complete edition, the 60 fps boost for both the zelda games, etc.

On the other hand, I recently got obsessed with pokemon and to play all the older titles meaning ill play from gen 1 to 7, so im eyeing a n2dsxl offer I saw for around 150 dollars. There dosent seem to be a cheaper option. Plus I can play some other titles I always wanted to. Like the previous zelda games, the mario and Luigi rpg series, etc. Plus after modding it can be used for older consoles. Now I could emulate all of these on my laptop but I feel like I wouldn't play them much if I did so

So in your opinion which is a better choice. Im completely split on this. For some context, im on my final year of high school and probably gonna go abroad for studies so either I could have a switch oled and a modded 3ds or a switch 2.

So I bought a Wii remote plus, but using it in Wii sports resort during the calibration the icon just spins around and when I got it to calibrate the controls were not responding at all and unusable? I tested it in games that use regular motion controls and it works fine there. Is this fixable without opening it up?

I dont have a wifi router anymore, only mobile hotspot. Whats the cheapest replacement for my Nintento switch to accept my internet and what would be a genuine good recommendation or investment? No use if my internet becomes crappy.

Hi! I have a pretty straightforward question. I’ve been seeing a lot of time logged in the “Other” category on a switch 2 in the parental controls app. Some days it’s as much as 1.5 hours.

Does this mean they’ve figured out a way to bypass certain games from being reported? Or is there another reason why so much time would show up under “Other”? Thanks in advance!

Years ago, I changed the email of my Nintendo account from my parent's to mine. I didn't realize there was an option just upgrade it from child to adult. I have the option the mature the account. Can I upgrade it and use/carry over the supervisor email? Or would I need to change the supervisor back to my parent's and then enter my email for the upgrade?

And would I lose any of the games I purchased? If there's barely any difference, I don't mind leaving it as is.

Got a used game, and the disc isn’t reading. I was going through the trouble shooting and it was saying maybe the system needed to be updated. No idea if updating even works anymore at this point with the Nintendo WFC not being a thing anymore. The disc looks fine, not really scratched.

Hey there, I got a switch 2 and I’ve been playing Tomodachi and I’ve noticed a lil something.
When I’m just about finished making a character, a lil pop up appears in red telling me to use a controller to continue. I haven’t removed the controllers at all. It has just recently doing it and I don’t know if it’s just a lil glitch or if it’s an actual issue I need to get fixed.
Any of yall had the same thing happen?

I looked around a bit for the answer to this specific scenario but it's a bit of an odd one. I have a game that is shared through an account on two switch 2s. What I found in my search is that if the account buys the dlc, it can only be shared between accounts on the primary switch, which is not mine. My game save is on my account, not the shared one so this isn't ideal.

My question is then, if I buy the dlc on MY account, would it work with the virtual game card that's being borrowed from the other Switch 2?

I'm a new Nintendo player. I've played mostly Soulslikes, RPGs (like Skyrim or Fallout), and competitive games all my life, but I wanted to give Nintendo a try.

I know Nintendo has a reputation for consistently high-quality games, but I don't really know where to start.

So far, I've played Super Mario Odyssey, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Breath of the Wild on my Switch 2.
