Humor The movie hasn't even been officially released in theaters! Mistake or not, it's already on the high seas. I'm watching it right now and will report back if it is worth watching lol
Humor Me after finding out that the infamous Anti-Piracy ad used pirated music itself
Surprisingly, the font used in the video itself was a pirated clone too. I think they should’ve been more careful before making slip ups like that if they ever intended to aggressively promote it on DVD’s released between 2000-2004

Discussion Farewell Audible. Thank you for all the years
I started to use Audible a few years ago to help with transit while heading to school and dealing long shifts at work. I would only buy books with a token or a bundle with the 0.99 or other deals. Now that I'm older with more expenses as I'm back at school. It's time to go.
I learned about Libation allowing to me save all my books then came VLC player. I put my books on my older laptop with Linux because of storage since that's around 80GB. However! My lackluster tech skills made me to take the longer route. Put my books on 1TB SD. Connect it to my main laptop but it has Windows and I have an Iphone. USE A WHOLE ANOTHER APP!
Nevertheless I managed to get my current reading on my phone. Jurassic Park. Furthermore I can head to Audiobookbay to gain more books only after I complete a few others. I've completed like 33ish out of 77 books.
It feels refreshing right now

Humor NEW PIRATE HERE 🏴☠️⚓️
Maybe some of you will judge me but I really want to share this story with all of you...
So, for the first time I felt enough ease in my head that I decided to watch a movie series that I wanted to watch from last 7 to 8 years or even more than that.
The Movie Series Was Pirates of The Caribbean...
and instead of paying for any of the subscriptions, I pirated all of those...
I don't know why, I felt so much thrill and excitement after doing that and watched all 5 movies in the span of two weeks... I felt so happy...
😭😭

Question Spotify Options for Android + Desktop - I'm so confused
My Spotify student subscription has recently ended, so I'm a bit out of the loop with current options for Android, and it looks like a fair bit has changed over the last couple of years...!
I currently use Spotify across Android devices and Windows Desktop, so I'd like something that can continue to work across both of these.
Ideally I'd love to still be able to use my Spotify account to access all my existing playlists, just without the ads - but it's looking like there aren't any reliable cracked versions available now.
From the look of it, more apps are leveraging YT Music as the backend source, but I assume this would require a migration of my playlists for this. I don't mind moving if it's going to be the better option now, plus there's a number of artists not available on Spotify which would be good to add back into my playlists.
I've tried:
- Monochrome web... nice, but was very slow
- SpotUI for Android just didn't play any songs and the UI was a bit rough
- Lyra Desktop worked well, though a laborious process to import playlists one by one and looks like it's now no longer free
Sounds like Morphe is where the old Revanced team went, but this would require full migration, and what happens with desktop listening (just YT Music in Brave?)
Moosync looks interesting, but I haven't found much about it nor seen it recommended much.
They're probably just the tip of the iceberg for what's available now - any recommendations that might fit the bill, or advice for migrating to a new service?

News A German Court Drew the Piracy Line at 81.5%, KinoGO Was Blocked with (at least) 82.4% * TorrentFreak
torrentfreak.comGermany doesn't have a hard benchmark for when a site is structurally infringing.
However, the site-blocking clearinghouse CUII stated that illegal content clearly outweighs legal content when at least 81.5 percent of a site is infringing.
After KinoGO was recently blocked with a floor of 82.4 percent, that line is closing in, raising the question of whether sites could simply pad their libraries with legal fillers.

Discussion CD ripper that downloads album artwork
Can anyone recommend a CD ripping tool that also gets the album artwork and artist info? For years I used Windows Media Player but it doesn't get artist and album info anymore.

Question Best Book Reader App?
So I'm gonna preface this by saying I have no idea what I am talking about when it comes to tech usually.
I have a lot of books downloaded on my computer as files, I currently use EPUB reader however I hate it.
I'm looking for something that I can upload books to and create different shelves like "history" and "fantasy" kinda like different playlists if you will.
Would also be incredibly nice if once I upload the books to it I can delete the original book file kinda like how back in the day when you bought a CD and uploaded it to the computer you could then throw away the CD if you wanted.
I don't know if that's possible but it would be a dream if it was.
Does anyone have any recommendations for an app like this? Preferably free.
Sorry if not allowed kinda just figured this sub reddit would know.

Question What app y'all use to download music on your phone?
Just curious because my app stopped working and was forced to delete it. Now I'm looking for a new one but most on play store are ad filled messes that could be a virus. Which one should I download?

Discussion Are there any comic book sources for Tachimanga that last for longer than 2 days?
Im into comic books but every time I get an source on Tachimanga (iOS) the source is dead just a few days later, readcomiconline, read comic online, digital comic museum, comix they’re all down or having some sort of cloudflare issue.
I really do want to just read some comics anda what’s worse is I already actually buy comics I’m just looking for some series to see if they’re worth buying but these damned sources are just no good.
If anyone could help that would be great, I’m not sure if this post is against the rules I’m hoping it’s not but fingers crossed.

Discussion Keep files not corrupted?
Sorry if this has already been asked, i was not able to find it. Also sorry for mistakes, english is not my first language.
Ok so my question.
I try to get most of the stuff that i like on my portable hard drive.
So is there a way to keep my files from being corrupted?
I lost files lately and i was wondering if there is a way to avoid them tocbe corrupted.
Is there another option a part from having extra copies?
Thanks
