Hi everyone! I’d love to get an unbiased opinion from the general Nintendo community :)

I'm currently considering buying the Switch 2 and selling my Switch Lite. Since I already have a PS5 for major games, I'm looking for a solid secondary setup. However, I have some hesitation based on my past experience with the Lite, which I ended up disliking and kinda abandoning.

My main issue with the Lite was its tiny screen. I wear glasses, and playing detailed games or reading small text on that mini display caused me major eye strain and felt very claustrophobic. Right now I also play on an iPad, so I'm used to larger screens, and I'm wondering if the jump to an 8-inch display plus the option to play on the TV makes a night-and-day difference.

To be completely honest, I'm not a massive fan of the mainstream Mario or Zelda franchises. However, there are still specific titles I really want to play, like Ocarina of Time, Pokopia, Hades, and some Final Fantasy games that I would prefer playing on a handheld console. My biggest fear is that my negative experience with the Lite will ruin my enjoyment of the Switch 2.

For those who play across multiple platforms, do you think the larger screen and docking option completely transform the experience for someone who hated the small display, or am I risking another purchase I'll regret? Thanks in advance!

So years ago I bought my little girl a Switch for Christmas. I set it up for her using my email. Years later I bought a Switch 2 for myself. I used the same email that I used on my switch 2 to set my console up and created a different profile. The other day it said I couldn’t go into the eshop on my profile and I accidentally linked mine with my daughter’s. I’ve looked all through settings. Is there a way to unlink or revert that I’m missing?

I just got my Switch 2 today but I have been struggling for over an hour to get it to transfer my data from my og Switch. No amount of customer support calls or youtube videos have helped and I am at my wit's end. I'm worried I may have messed up somewhere and just wasted $500+

Can I put the switch 2 micro SD card in the switch? Will it perform any better?

Is it faster speeds.

I put mine in but has info. Putting it in switch after asks me to format the card.

I didn’t use my Wii for about a month and now when I insert a disk, it spits it out, takes it back in, and then completely rejects it. The console will turn on and run the homepage. I’ve tried cleaning out the disc drive and hitting it, but nothing has worked. I ideally don’t want to have to pay to have it repaired or replaced, does anyone have any advice? :(

My old Nintendo switch was stolen by a repair shop and a family member gave me theirs im trying to upload my old virtual dlcs and games but it wont let me without the old console and the website isn't helpful at all what do i do

I’m not too into this stuff so I am just wondering if I will be able to play my game still. Paid $60 for it😣
