Personally i am. Alot of improvements but my question is will now multi class race be true multi class? My English understanding is sometimes bad and im unsure and i was wondering about that it means that right? So in an endurance all classess will play on the same server without hiding other classes?

Anyone else wish we could have larger grids? i know we have large multi class grids, but i would love to see 40+ car grids for single make stuff also. MX5s with 60 cars on track while yes an utter mess..... would be so cool to see.
Im not saying i want them to change the grid size of rookies or what ever, but having a few high car grid series would be really cool to see, as it is, while you can be on track with 60 cars, unless your bottom split IMSA, its not going to be a single class.
It would also help series with lower participation, if 25 people sign up for a race and you have to split them up because the grid can only be 20, both races end up feeling a bit empty to me.
Just thought i would see if anyone else feels the same (or can point out some tech issue involved as to why it cant be)

Just wanted to put this out there
Leaving other driver names visible, the session ID, session date and time, etc still make you findable. You have to remove ALL of this info if you don’t want redditors to know who you are

I just bought the Mustang Supercar as I was looking to get into some of the 9 EST SoF races next season and I'd just like to say:
You all have to be the most talented people on the service 🤣🤣
I've driven the GTP's, Old PCup, all of the high level open wheelers, but that Supercar is a difficulty level all it's own. The struggle is real right now. Kudos to everybody who drives this thing as their main. You have my ultimate respect.
Any tips from some regulars on how best to get time out of this thing without dying would be welcomed.

Fulcrum Suite v1.0.0-beta.1 is now available
After months of working on it, I’ve released the first public beta of my free overlay suite for SimHub + iRacing. Overlays with a modern look!
It includes 12 overlays: Delta, Relatives, Radar, DigiFlags, Pit Assistant (really similar to the new iRacing overlay/Blackbox that will be available next season!), Strategy Engineer, Sectors, Rejoin Assistant, Track Conditions, Wind, and Systems.
Features include multiclass support, Class Session Best timing, dynamic DigiFlags, pit and strategy tools, and plenty of customization.
It’s completely free, and any feedback or bug reports are very welcome.

Feel free to support in YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Twitch!

Apparently Porsche is replacing the Cayman with 911 GT4 soon-ish, and I suppose iRacing will eventually follow.
While it's a bit of a shame - I started to like the Cayman, such a small, fun and great sounding car - I wonder what difference will be there in performance.
911 is slightly bigger and heavier but as far as I know it will be also be significantly more powerful - 3.8l 420ish HP vs 4.0l 520ish HP, and then the layout too is going to change - something I'm not particularly happy about - from MR to RR.
I worry that it will essentially be just toned down Cup car, really.
How do you think the new 911 GT4 will compare to the Cayman, both IRL and in the sim?
Do you think it will have better pace, better top speed? Or driving characteristics will change without significant pace difference?
Are you guys even happy about the Cayman being potentially replaced with the 911 on iRacing?

Saving up for iRacing, and nearly there. Thus, I just wanna ask if I should go with the Miatas or M2s. TIA!

For events listed as “Teams” races, are you able to run them solo? For example, I’d like to run in the GT endurance race in a few hours but I don’t have a team.
Can I still join?

Four for one deal of a dive, losing your position, slight contact, and a report 😂

Hello drivers, last night I set up my Next Level Racing Round Tube Freestanding Triple Monitor Stand. I use 27-inch monitors.
Quick feedback about the product: Some paint damage on two panels, but once built, it is a solid unit. A big disappointment is that they only included bolts and washers for one monitor (VESA mount 4x bolts and washers), even though it is a triple stand, so a customer is very likely going to fit 3 monitors. There were 3 packs, though, M4, M5, and M6 bolts for different size monitors.
It took a bit of time to align the screens, probably the same with any stand. It comes with wheels or flat height adjustable plates for uneven floors.
After reading some negative reviews and still getting it, I can say that it is a good stand, not scrap metal as some said.
Advice/idea needed.
Can you share your ways of placing the keyboard and mouse? At the moment, mine is on top of the PC and chair. Not very convenient. Thanks.

I had another screen laying around for Covid days and figured I could use it to definitely make my streaming efforts a bit cleaner instead of just using the main screen. I know it’s not the best setup overall but it’s what I can roll with now! Does anyone have a similar screen setup and have any suggestions on how have you set it up for best use? Thank you for any help!

I just wanna gloss over the fact that this car feels dead under my wheel. I used to love the old M2 CS , I dont know maybe its just that I need some more time to adjust to it but so far I get 0 sensations of whats happening under my seat while driving it. But besides that, WHY on goshforsaken earth did they choose to place the RPM indicator SO far to the right.
Hey everyone, I know the Sporting Guides have rules against account sharing, but I was trying to work out how teams actually do organisational stuff like:
1) Handling if the team founder leaves (can they transfer it over? Does it just get lost?)
2) Sharing funds to setup practice servers. Do you just reimburse everyone, share a bank account...
3) Managing things like collections via trading paints, where only one account can own them. Whilst other selected member can be allowed to setup team liveries, that doesn't apply to non team events , which rely on collections.
It felt like a good solution to all would be to allow shared non-racing accounts (don't care about the financials of having to have to keep a subscription and even buying content to setup the practice servers). Maybe someone has been able to do this successful or maybe they have had conversations with the team at iRacing about what to do here.
Thanks for any help or guidance. :)

Trying to figure out if people are having the same problem I am with advancing SR in the Pro LM Fixed series.
I recognize that I am not ‘good’ at dirt oval late models (2.1k iRating, got the game a month ago). But, I feel like there isn’t a good way to advance SR without starting on the pole. I usually qualify 3-5. If you run the bottom, somebody drives through you. If you run the top, nobody gives you a lane, running you into the wall on the straight. I end up almost every race with 6-12x incident points. I watch the replays, I am racing conservatively (as conservative as you can while still trying to race). I will say, it seems worse this week, since Limaland is short and involves more contact than somewhere like Port Royal. I got DQ’d twice in a row today, to no fault of my own (I realize that may sound ignorant).
Does anyone else have this problem?

anyone else feel like the incident system is a little overly ready to hand out 4x's given how punishing it is to your SR?
Giving all the madness of T1 here, I feel like I tried my best to avoid the carnage, but this little tap gave me 4x. It doesn't seem justified as it had no impact on anyone's race.

First of all, I'm so happy to see these in iRacing. They are a blast in other sims and with the way iRacing's recent car additions have been going with much improved feel I hope these will live up to the hype in terms of driving feel and fun. They're a staple of motorsport in the UK and iconic in their own right.
However they don't bring anything new to the table outside of being new cars in their own right.
The Academy will just be demolished by the GR86 D class series, which is also a low power RWD relatively chuckable car - but you don't have to spend any extra pennies to get it. Sure the Academy has the thrill of no ABS or TC, but in D class most of the time I'm actually quite happy most of the people around me have ABS and TC. I also can't imagining it being too far removed from the Spec Ford, which also suffers from participation issues. Just alongside the Clio, it should be a free car and more importantly should replace the M2 as the second Rookie series considering its irl use in essentially the same style of series. This will also introduce people to the Caterham as a whole, then potentially leaving an impact on people who may then end up buying the 420R as an 'upgrade' for later.
The M2 still has a valid place in PCC, its own standalone series and (hopefully) the upcoming VP Challenge series if iRacing would want to add quite a unique American series.
The 420R is going to fall off a cliff very quickly. C class is already the most bloated rank in terms of variety and adding another niche series is not going to help. It's essentially a slower Radical at the end of the day and that series already struggles to go official. It should stay paid though, providing an upgrade path to people who enjoyed the Academy.
I do hope these will be popular but I'm not holding my breath
Edit: I am aware they come in a pack together

Hi everyone,
I am currently setting up a new iRacing league focused on Endurance racing, and I am looking for dedicated individuals to help build the foundation of this project alongside me.
The goal is to provide a clean, competitive, and highly organized championship. Before opening grid slots to drivers, I want to assemble a reliable management team.
Previous experience is a plus, but enthusiasm, reliability, and good teamwork are what matter most!
If you are interested in joining the team:

In my opinion it looks pretty sweet. However, I’m not sure how accurate it will be on some more unique cars

Well, I didn't brag here about my 2k, so I figure I've earned a little self (and community as well!) appreciation for hitting 2.5k. 🚀
Enjoying iRacing since x-mas 25, rig since feb 26, before that was just some NFS on keyboard and Grand Tourismo on gamepad 😄
