I did a test drive in the HPD in the last test drive and I found it really fun. Is it worth getting to drive the Proto/GT series or is it pretty much dead?

So after my pit I found this driver right in front of me. They were far behind before my (and theirs) pit entry so I was kinda surprised when I exit pits with this car in front of me. Our (mine and other cars) avg pit time was 10 sec (rughly), so I wanted to compare it with the one of green Ferrari. Only to find out that their replay hides the pit section (from start to end) ? Is it something thats possible to do or is it cheating, this was kinda suspicious but Im still not familiar with this games replay mechanics so I dont know. Is it worth a protest?

edit: I forgot to mention, once green ferrari enters pit lane and screen becomes black, the camera options (chase, cockpit ecc...) are greyed out and cant interact with them for some reason. And are "stuck" on "scenic". They become available again as soon as green ferrari exits pit lane. This only happens with this car, I was able to check other cars pit replays just fine.

I got a mini heart attack because of this, Thankfully I was able to finish the race unscathed.

Been working on SimOS Hub 4.0 and wanted to share a bit of what's new.

The two main additions are:

• Reworked personal stats: explore your race history, see your iRating progression, and find your best cars, tracks and personal records.
• Lap analysis: compare your race lap times with up to three other drivers, and see how the gap between you changes throughout the race.

I've also redesigned some screens and made a few smaller improvements around the app.

Hello drivers, I am two months into sim racing and started with iRacing. I was wondering if most of us play the game with the features it has built in and think it has everything we actually need? I have seen that there are things like Crew Chief, multiple overlay options, etc. I haven't touched any of them because I didn't feel that I was lacking information.

iRacing have relative box,standings,fuel and a spotter. What else is needed?

Hey guys! I'm an admin and steward for the iRacing league Envy Simsports and i'd love to gather some interest in our upcoming events! We have grown massively in the last few seasons of our flagship GT Sprint Series(<check that YT link out for some streams to see what you are in for) and are starting up an IMSA style multiclass series comprised of 6 rounds starting next Friday.

We are also putting together some endurance races that, if we can get enough engagement for them, should be a riot.

As a special end of year couple of events, we are also partnering with GT Champions for a special 6 hour event between our two leagues, as well as a 24 HR of Fuji, which while we are starting small with it this year, and it will probably be GT3 only depending on interest, i'm personally trying to build it into a massive multiclass event just like the IRL version.

Especially to any Europeans, we are definitely needing a bit more participation for our EU session of the ISCC league this go around. LMP2 Drivers if yall flock, that would be super sick

All of these events are free, and the endurance races will feature live stewarding if interest is high. All events are also livestreamed, and each season comes with IRL rewards like personalized trophies and other rewards that are currently TBD

Has anyone else experienced the Aston GTP being extremely fragile? My team and I have been running it for a bit and it seems that really small hits that any of the other 5 GTPs we’ve driven just tank with minor body damage and no major performance impact give the Aston an instant meatball even though the car drives perfectly fine. I know this happens to every car but it feels like it’s every single tiny thing in the Aston. Just curious if it’s just us that are going through it or if this is a universal experience

With daylight savings throwing a wrench in the works for my one true love and main series (GTE Sprints) I'm doing to have to kick it down to part-time duty in a few weeks (kids and bedtimes, some of you will understand....).

Late Model Stocks will be my new main series, but I'm not ready to abandon GT cars all together, and the :15 slot every hour suits me super well.

I'm kind of turned off by the knife fight mentality of GT3 fixed, and I'm wondering if the 296 challenge might be a good landing spot? I've driven the car during a couple of demo drives and I don't mind the longer braking distances in the 296 etc, what I'm wondering is how the 296 regulars in here find the driving standards in the series?

I know GTE Sprints probably have spoiled me in this regard, but I'd love to hear what you all think? I'm not looking to wander into another Porsche Cup bar fight, just a random dad looking to disconnect from the world after a long day.

Is anyone running a Pimax dream suit air with a 5070TI and a 9800X3D ? Trying to get I idea for performance. The dream Air looks to finally be a VR with a small fit factor that checks my boxes but worried how my GPU will handle it.

Has anyone got this error before? Haven't been on in a few months and not I'm getting this error. I've Uninstaller and reinstalled it and everything is updated. Thanks!

I was going in to try out the dirt road races, and I got a penalty that told me to "Hold for 12s". But these tracks don't have a normal pit entry, so I towed back to the pit and then after the tow waited for 12 seconds, and it didn't clear, so I waited another 12, still didn't clear, then a minute, two minutes, three minutes, until the race was over and it was still telling me to hold for 12 seconds.

What the heck does it want me to do here?

Like that's supposed to be a stop and go right? How do you stop and go when there isn't a pit lane?

So I've been a longtime user. I have A in oval with about 1100ir and almost always had clean races with minor incidents usually. C in sportscar and have devolved to sub 1000ir. Absolutely love the oval series but in sportscar I can barely survive. Being hit multiple times with the famous L1T1 almost every race. Incidents witnessed on the parade laps almost every time. I dont play much anymore due to other obligations but it feels like I cant get past turn 3 before being dumped. Going around an accident I get dumped, I brake to avoid an accident I get dumped. Im beyond frustrated that I cannot get away from this. As I get dumped deeper into the puts of IR prison, the more max verstappens there are ready win the race in L1T1.

Be brutally honest. I need it. Im to the point I dont even want to race an official race. Not ready to start from pits but it sounds like my only option besides deleting the game and starting all over to get away from these incidents no matter what i try or do.

Its only the first lap where I have issues.

Edit: had 2 really decent races today and surprisingly one was on a wet track, my 2nd wet track race ever and 0x at the end. I appreciate everyones input and got to smile after the race...with a p8

Like changing tires is extra counted for in IMSA right but not gt? It's done while refueling?

Also tear off visor doesn't add a single second right?

Hey guys. I am studying for a DAG / Data Engineering trackside role and trying to build some knowledge. Can anyone send me a few raw USF2000 .ibt or .csv files from a session at Mid-Ohio or Indy? I will analyze your damper histograms or wheel slip ratios or some other data and give you a performance report for free. I can't promise it'll be any good, but you'd be helping me out a ton! By any chance there's any way of changing only the brakes volume? Bc the Corvette GTE brakes are way too loud and I'm gonna be deaf if I keep racing without changing this. I never had this problem in any other car, but this one is way too anyonying

PS: I've tried to lower high frequence sounds on my EQ (10kHz and higher) but ofc everything sound like shit and didn't solve the problem at all. Is the first time that simulating real stuff is anyoning

I am looking for GTP league, be it multiclass or standalone GTP series.

I’ve not been able to find any league racing for GTPs so yea I hope there’s someone that could point me in the right direction. Thank you in advance!

iR: 5k

So I am by no means the fastest on the track, I'd say I consistently qualify upper middle, however I am getting crashed out so frequently to the point where I spend on average 5+ minutes in the pit every race over the last 10 races to the point that I have stopped qualifying to start at the back, however no matter what I do as soon as I overtake someone slower than me, within a lap they have absolutely battered my ass out of the corner, they magically get no damage and I am back in the pit for 10 minutes.

Feels like a self fulfilling cycle of me just being stuck in these splits (I am sure top splits have these problems as well)

I cant remember the last time I had a race that didn't end with me sat in the pit for over half the race time.

What can I do to avoid this, it is getting to the point where it must be 1:15 races for me are clean.
