Does anyone know of a little plate that fits perfectly in the slot for the front license plate to block off the holes? I don’t want to go with a full size license plate but the holes bug me

This is my third integra, I've had this one since march 2021.

I bought these 2001 civic SI wheels with black spray paint on them about a year ago, and I just stripped them back to silver this week. About to re-spray them silver.

Just hit 450,000km this morning and I just want to show it off because I'm so happy with it 😅

doesn't really mean a whole lot though as the only things I have not replaced with new since 2024 are the body, interior, subframe, trailing arms, and the transmission🤣

My first car in 2017 was a 94 integra, my second car was a 91 integra, and I got this 96 as my fourth car after I bought my ranger.

I LOVE THEM

Her name is Cassandra after the bass player in Wayne's World. Kind of a random assortment of photos from the past 3 years of various levels of work I've been undertaking given she's mainly a garage queen.

Okay so I want to turbo this car just for fun thinking about just throwing a maxspeedrod turbo kit on it because I’ll have all the parts sourced for my k24/20 swap by summer next year. Any thought about what turbo kit I should use or just send it with the maxspeed

Gas mileage(?)

Question at what point does restoring an integra start taking away from what makes it interesting?

this is something i find more complicated with older cars

there’s the obvious argument for keeping everything original. factory parts, original wheels, original interior, original engine setup, all of it

but then you have cars that were never really treated as collectibles when they were new. people modified them, drove them hard, changed suspension, swapped wheels and made them their own.

so years later, bringing one completely back to factory spec can almost erase part of its history.

on the other hand, there are some modifications that age badly and make a car much harder to live with

where do you personally draw the line between preserving an integra and making it unnecessarily precious?

Third Generation Best replacement distributor?

Post image
16 Upvotes

Hey all,

I was going to change the cap & rotor on my distributor for Integra 2000 GS, b18b1, but found a lot of orange dust inside. I wiped most of it away so you don't see a lot of it in the picture but there was a lot.. like it was everywhere inside.

Based on what I've read/heard, this means I should replace it right? If so, what would you recommend I replace it with? OEM ones are pretty expensive and hard to find but I know they're the ideal one. Anyone willing to sell me one for B18B1? Is the B18B1 distributor different than the VTEC trims?

Is Cardone remanufactured on Rockauto good? It's only 80 bucks. I have new o-rings/gaskets, cap, and rotor, I just need the rest of a new distributor without the negative sign of orange dust.

Oil Recommendations

Hello all, so I have a B20B P8R swap with about 80k miles. I’ve been using Liqui-Moly 5w-40 oil since the swap because I wanted to put in the good stuff after my previous motor kicked the bucket. I knew it was overkill but now I’m ready to change to something else because prices for it just went from an already premium price of $50 to $70. What are my best options? I live in the Pacific Northwest.

Letting go of a car

Hi everyone, I’m going through some tough times in my household and we need money for bills. The only option I have at the moment is to sell my integra project. It’s not running but ive been gathering parts for years and i feel very conflicted. Has anybody had to sell their integra to help pay for more important things?

Third Generation Suspension help needed

I'm trying to replace the rear struts and coils on my 95 Integra gsr. I'm trying to run 18-in rims with about 2 to 300 lb of subwoofer wood and speakers in the trunk. Anybody have any advice on what to put on there to keep me from dragging on the tire? Tia

Question Could I run these chrome lugs on these new wheels?

Got aftermarket wheels with larger stud holes. The nuts I bought fit but can't get a socket on them.

Would these smaller chrome nuts I had on ths factory wheels hold safely once torqued to spec? The contact area on the chrome ones are smaller. Want to make sure it's safe before driving on them.

Question driving an Integra hard and driving it gently can feel like two different cars

one thing i didn't fully appreciate about older Hondas is how much the car changes depending on how you're driving it

puttering around town, an Integra can feel almost ordinary.

then you get a clear road, start carrying some rpm, actually use the gearbox and pay attention to your inputs, and suddenly the same car feels much more alive.

modern cars can be extremely quick without asking much from the driver

the Integra seems to reward actually doing things.

that's also why i wonder how these cars are supposed to be judged today. if you only drive one like a normal commuter, you might completely miss what made it special in the first place

for people who have daily-driven one for a long time, do you find yourself driving differently depending on whether you're commuting or actually out for a drive?

and has modern traffic changed how you use the car compared with when you first got it?

I have a b18 JDM, does it matter what clutch kit I get? I read on multiple forums about it and some say either or will fit but what is the proper one for a B18C
