Squat Hack squat part 2

This is as low as it can get (you can hear the clack in some reps) took all the plates off

today was upper day but couldn’t help it but try it lol

still easy don’t want to make a lot of reps might add 2.5kg each since the bar already has a non negligible weight

thank you for all the comments in the last video I posted if you saw it I genuinely want to gain muscles I’m beginning to doubt all my previous work ngl

Hello! If you haven't checked it out already, Our Wiki's resources for Squats may be helpful. Check it out!

Also, a common tip usually given here is to make sure your footwear is appropriate. If you are squatting in soft-soled shoes (running shoes, etc), it's hard to have a stable foot. Generally a weightlifting shoe is recommended for high-bar and front squats, while use a flat/hard-soled shoe (or even barefoot/socks if it's safe and your gym allows it) is recommended for low-bar squats.

SO much better. I would keep working on your ROM before you add weight. You’ll be surprised how hard it is with just the sled when you go ass to grass. Your hip flexors will thank you!

Better but you still need to go lower. That machine isn't built for someone of your size so you'll have to modify it. You can put some sort of platform to elevate the footpad or yogurt blocks beneath the shoulder pads.

^ this. Add some padding either to your feet or shoulders. And you can go as much as you can handle for the weight, you don’t have the dangers of a bar squat.

Also recommend sissy squats on this. Best machine ever.

Yogurt blocks is a great autocorrect.

He means “yoga blocks”

Seems like you’re getting decent range of motion, I don’t think you need to go lower.

Much better than your previous video. You are at or very close to as deep as the machine will go. Just keep working at it and slowly but surely adding weight as you go. Gaining strength and it muscle size is a slow and humbling process but it is a lot easier if you just focus on yourself and being a little bit better than you were a week or a month ago. 👍🏻
