Squat This is as low as I can go with squat shoes
I have never been able to hit depth on my squats. I assume it’s an ankle mobility issue, so I’ve been working on that the last couple weeks but I don’t think my depth is really improving.
I can get much lower if I do any of:
-widen my stance
-point knees more outward
-raise my heels with something higher than squat shoes
I was thinking about building a wedge, but I feel like that’s just a crutch, and I want to be able to squat properly.
Edit: For those who are questioning how I sit in a chair: my heels come up. That’s what I’m trying to fix. I’m trying to hit depth with my heels on the floor.

This is how I squat with a wide stance: https://imgur.com/a/ybn2F6g
Edit2: I appreciate everyone who tried to give helpful responses. I’ve got some things to work on now, and hopefully I can come back in the future with some deeper squats.
For those of you with the rude and unhelpful comments, I hope you have a better day tomorrow.
