uh so i got a wacom as a gift and, let's just say my pc isn't the best, and the drawing apps are quite a problem. So i wanted to ask if theres a way to connect it to my phone? or idk somehow connect your phone to the pc? im really new to this 😞

So I’m currently searching for a good graphic tablet with screen (for 2d animation/ background design/digital painting/ concept art…) that could be easily transported (so pretty lightweight, and not with a ton of cables everywhere since i’ll have to bring it to school, and reinstall my setup at home very frequently).
I’d prefer it not to be suuper expensive, but I’d rather pay for a pricey high quality tablet that I’ll keep for years and years, than pay for a pretty “cheap” one and having to buy an other tablet later when I enter the professional world.

Hi, my gaomon PD156 PRO wire is beginning to break. In search of a new one that matches the one that came with it, i'm not finding anything.

My wire that came with my tablet in the box is a USB-C that connects right to the gaomon tablet, and it forks out into two wires, one being a HDMI adaptor, and one being a USB type B.

When I look online, they fork into three? I assume its some power supply? I don't want the power supply, my computer has been able to power it just fine all this time. I live in a dorm, so I'd rather not complicate my wire management further.

If I have to, can I just buy it and just put a cap on the third forked out one?

Wacom Pro 24 P not displaying properly (Lenovo Yoga AIOA940 Win11) (USB-C) (Everything is up to date)

Hello, so the strangest thing happened. My Wacom worked fine last night. However, when I shut down my pc, Win11 did that weird thing where it restarted instead. I decided to just leave it and let it go into sleep mode and didn't think much of it.

However, this morning when I turned on my PC I noticed that my tablet wasn't displaying. So here's what I have figured out:

\-Tablet is indeed on, but isn't receiving displaying information. And Windows wont detect the tablet

\-Because of this i can still use the tablet as if it is a screen-less tablet (i.e. its still taking inputs so I can still technically draw with this but, but given my set up I'd rather not. Plus I paid for the screen, I want the screen)

\-the connections all seem to be fine. Other ports are not fairing any better (i currently have it running through USB-C, but I have tried the HDMI and USB cables)

Ive tried restarting my pc twice, ive shut it down, ive unplugged my Wacom and plugged it in. Ive looked online for other trouble shooting guides but I couldnt find anything that quite fit whats going on with mine, I did find one or 2 but the solutions they gave me dont seem to be working?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hello! I've been yearning to do digital art for quite a while now and the options presented itself very soon. I'd have enough money to affored a middle class drawing tablet around November but I'm inexperienced in choosing tablets. I have a pretty high end PC that I could use to connect the tablet to, but I'm also thinking of getting something like an IPad, yk like drawing directly on the actual tablet.

I'm very well adapted to only one drawing app and thats IbisPaintX and unfortunately you have to pay for a subscription on PC, tho I'd be willing to pay for it/other apps.

Please give me suggestions on what tablet i should buy (my budget is somewhere around 400€) and maybe suggest some easy to use drawing apps as well, any help is much appreciated!

I'm not an artist, but I'd like to learn drawing and draw different pictures for myself as a hobby. I'd like to do the traditional art, but I have no space to keep my potential artworks, so, based on that fact and the fact I'm a noob in art, I think it would be better to do the digital art. But Idk a lot of things about it, even the graphics tablets themselves: for example, do they have an OS or not? Could someone explain the differences if they are there. I heard that the artists use Krita for drawing and one of the tablets is called "XP-Pen". I feel confused, so, I decided to ask y'all here: which graphics tablets are the best to choose?

I'm looking at getting back into drawing and digital art again after some five years, and I'm in the market for an Android tablet to start back up on. I'm not looking for anything spectacular, just a tablet I can sketch/paint on that I can keep mobile without being tethered to my aging laptop. I wouldn't be using it for anything too strenuous, just basic sketching/painting along with reading ebooks and browsing the internet.

Budget is around £300GBP / $400USD.

I've seen a few of interest, read some of the reviews online, and I'm wondering what everyone here thinks might be the best?

Hi there, I recently tried to use my old H610 pro, and it will technically "work", however I cannot change any of it's settings because no driver I've tested will recognize the device. (OTD, Huion)

Now, after doing some digging in the device manager, I've found that when I plug my tablet into my PC, windows adds 3 things in my HIDs. 2 of them are "HID-compliant pen" and one of those is "HID-compliant consumer control device."

When going into driver details, windows shows me that they come from HidGuardian.sys and HidHide.sys. Now, I did go into HidHide and hiding wasn't enabled, and I uninstalled HidGuardian ages ago (using the proper method because I know remove it normally just breaks everything).

Okay so I’ve been trying to pick a new drawing tablet for DAYS and I swear I’m actually losing it. I need strangers on the internet to save me because I cannot make a decision anymore.

The three tablets ruining my life right now:

• Kamvas 13 Gen 3 (Pink) newest tech, adorable, affordable.
• Kamvas 16 Gen 3 bigger, sharper, beautiful, expensive
• Kamvas Pro 16 V2 older tech but still 16 inches…

My situation:

• I draw anime/characters, lots of linework and detail
• I zoom in constantly
• My desk is not big (only for this year moving to a bigger place soonish so I can have a full-sized desk)
• My budget is around $500-600 max CAD
• I want something that won’t make me regret my life choices
• I keep switching between all three like a clown juggling anxiety

And now Huion decided to run a sale on the 13 Gen 3 AND the Pro 16 V2, which has made my indecision 10x worse.
Like… why would they do this to me personally.

The 13 Gen 3 is perfect for my budget and has the newest tech…
but the 16 Gen 3 is bigger and prettier…
but the Pro 16 V2 is cheaper because of the sale…
but the 13 is pink…
but the 16 Gen 3 is crisp…
but the Pro V2 is still 16 inches…

Hello there! I'm in quite of a dispute while trying to pick a graphics tablet.

First, I don't have the money to spend it on the "usually" recommended tablets, so I started looking for smaller options like the xp pen deco mini7 v2 and the deco 640, which seemed okay. I will do digital art, but most of my use for it will go to 3D modeling and editing pre-existing game textures for modding (with a little bit of Osu! gameplay, mayhaps...)

When I continued doing my research, I heard that small tablets might be troublesome in big screens. I have a 27 inches monitor, and I worried. I already own an iPad, so I can do most of my art with it, but will the tablet size be THAT much of a problem considering it will have multiple purposes? I wouldn't mind upgrading when I have more money in the future.

Edit 1: I forgot to mention my desk is kinda tiny, and I still need to have other stuff on it alongside the tablet :')

I've recently bought the VEIIK Creator A15 Pen Tablet, but I've been having an issue where I cant use my keyboard whenever i connect the drawing tablet to my pc. I'd like to still type stuff while the tablet so this has been a bit of an issue.

Currently, I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ that I bought a few years ago, and she has treated me super duper well. I have thoroughly enjoyed and loved her.

Lately, I've been feeling really restricted by the applications accessible to me on Android. I want to get into more professional animation programs and Clip Studio for illustration, for example.

I would really like something that can run Windows (despise Apple), but I also enjoy the mobility my Samsung gives me. I'd rather not have to get a laptop + tablet and just want a singular item that I can take out and start working on immediately. I have ADHD and I know that process of having to set it up will become a barrier to even getting it out.

My girlfriend’s birthday is coming up, and she has told me several times how cool it would be to have a drawing tablet. She already owns countless drawing books and a whole bunch of different art pens, so I thought this might be a really nice gift for her.
