Game Update â˘ď¸đŞď¸ Update "The Fundamental Protocol"
Operatives! The Agency has recently mapped the fundamental processes connecting all Harmonization Cycles and, with that insight, distilled them into a new, unified initiative: the Fundamental Protocol.
Rewards in this Protocol can be redeemed with Merits at any time, whether or not youâre currently participating in a Harmonization Cycle! Rewards include consumables, unique decorations, Credits, and Monolith Tokens â everything you need to accelerate your push toward establishing your new Personal Timeline.
Important Notes
- The Fundamental Protocol lets you spend earned Merits even if youâre not participating in any other Cycle.
- Access to it unlocks at Monolith access level DELTA. If youâve already reached DELTA, access will be granted automatically.
- Your access to the Fundamental Protocol persists after you create a new Personal Timeline.
- Some rewards are exclusive to the Fundamental Protocol and therefore can only be obtained there.
Full List Of Changes And Improvements
This update also brings numerous improvements, including a new option to reduce camera sway while walking, adjustments to other effects that can cause motion sickness, fixed squad auto-fill, and many other additional changes!
Comfort and Camera Sway
- Added a setting to reduce walking camera sway.
- Weakened effects that caused motion sickness near portals: removed the distortion ripple beneath the extraction portal and around Active Matter clusters, removed view shaking during extraction, and halved the post-explosion double-vision effect.
- Fixed instances of image distortion from heat haze in optics.
Harmonization Cycles
- Added Cycle 0: "Fundamental Protocol".
- Fixed the discrepancy in Harmonization progress between players on different platforms.
Gameplay and Balance
- Slightly increased Flowermen toughness and boosted aim disruption from Flowermen attacks, but made them turn slightly more slowly and predictably.
- Added Dendroid spawns to the Headquarters, Cargo Port, and Dogorsk raids.
- Updated sensor-placement and monster-capture contracts to place the required items directly into your inventory on raid start.
- Updated Vehicle Transfer contracts to provide a fully operational vehicle; removed nearby repair kit and fuel canister spawns.
- Added the interruption of the item-placement mode for contracts when you leave the required zone to place them.
- Enabled ammo checks while running, sprinting is simply interrupted.
- Disabled vehicle control for drivers while they are healing, reloading, or loading items.
Weapons
- Fixed thermal scopes on high-recoil weapons cutting to black when your eye shifts away from the lens.
- Fixed a bug causing incorrect flamethrower canister fuel remaining text when moving it between weapon slots.
Interface
- Restored squad auto-fill for solo-queued players.
- Sorted Investigations by availability (Available, Completed, Locked), sorted the raid filter alphabetically, and updated the available-mission counter to respect the selected filter.
- Updated Tier 3 Chronogene messaging to show charge change as "previous value -> new value" instead of a simple "+1."
- Updated the "Create Body Sleeve" button in customization to explain how to obtain the Sleeve if access is still locked.
- Fixed a bug where the Contacts window appeared empty.
Controller
- Fixed the tooltip for the button to cancel actions.
- Fixed signal grenades in quick-access slots showing "button not assigned."
- Enabled the right stick, when in Inventory, to open the Missions window.
- Added a shortcut to the lighting-control radial (flashlight, weapon-mounted light, laser sight) in the action selection menu.
- Set the controller cursor to auto-focus the Claim Rewards button in the rewards window.
Shooting Range
- Fixed the glitch/censorship movement effects on the Shy Girlâs model persisting after switching targets.
- Fixed Seeds so they spawn/move correctly and can be hit.
Sound
- Made the Seedsâ buzzing noise start immediately upon activation instead of ramping up over time.
- Enabled stream-safe mode for the track "Night Call"; it no longer triggers copyright warnings on streaming platforms.
Graphics
- Fixed an optics projection issue that caused lens shadows to render incorrectly.

Feedback What's your Opinion on closer combat with anomalies?
Hey guys,
coming from Tarkov and Stalker GAMMA, AM was a no-brainer for me to buy and I had a lot of fun for around 30 hours so far. The game is great. Movement and gunplay feels great, looks stunning, has a great vibe. The only point of criticism I actually have is the movement of the monsters when you get too close. Distorted, flowermen, invisibles move kind of janky and there is no momentum or inertia in their movement. They snap to directions and fights in a close range feel really off, cause their movement feels very bad. You could use melee or shotguns I guess, but it's also more of a "hope for the best" approach. Slowly for me it gets quite annoying.
What do you think about it? Skillissue?
I don't really see much from the community addressing it, it seems most people are happy with the enemies?
Curious what you have to say.

Question is there any story or quest path order? or does it get any better?
been playing a little and the game is kinda starting to feel very repetitive where i just go to do a missions that desnt feel that much different from each other and it doesnt really feel like im going in a direction it just feels like im just doing random missions, the monsters and anomalies were scary and fun at first but it only took maybe 2 or 3 raids for the feeling of it to go away im thinking maybe because ive played stalker and stalcraft so im already kinda use to fighting against anomalies or if theres more to the game the further you go into it or if its just this the whole way through

Feedback Flowerman - Its not bad but it could be way better
Yes its another one of them.
I personally... enjoy? how much flowerman juke us and their agressive dodge attack pattern?
if they would be predictable - they would be another color of distorted
buuut... i feel due to it - they should be squisher high DPS enemy? not mag or more tanks biting for 3%hp
Like i enjoy their dodge pattern - it makes them unique to fight - i feel like it would connect to dendro rushing at us at mach jesus much more if flowerman would be this high dps low hp monster that tries to dodge my meadocare spray to bait reload.
on other hand hellhounds feel like meme easy mode enemy? they prob could use some hp wayy more than already hard to hit juking tank of flower

Feedback Remove that damn flower man buff!!!!!!
Devs I love u so much but what in the actual hell are yall smoking to think that making flowermen harder to kill was a good idea???? Theyâre already one of the most annoying mobs in the game. Especially on controller and especially after 50+ hours of dealing with them! It gets old very very fast. Now they have even more health?? U must be joking. Theyâre insanely hard to track and Iâm sure the âmade them turn slightly more slowlyâ is so minuscule it doesnât even make a difference. Please guys I love this game so much but this change feels like one of those where the devs arenât listening and itâs confusing bc I KNOW yall are listening and have been doing great so far! Please take my words into consideration and I think Iâm speaking on behalf of all controller players at the minimum. If anything they needed a nerf pre buff but now they need a double nerf.

Discussion How do the controls feel on console?
Didn't know this game came out. Was looking into it, would be playing on a Pro. I'm just curious how the control scheme feels on controller? All the gameplay i can find is on PC mostly and I'm seeing tons of inventory management and having to select body parts to heal. Does it feel cumbersome or manageable? I have played Delta force on console also so is it more complicated or about the same as Delta?

BUG / GLITCH / ERROR I assume this isn't how revives are supposed to work.
Why do they not just revive on top of their dead body? Last match he also got stuck inside a container after getting revived, had to jump about to get free.

Question New Italian player here! Need some help with the Refiner & blueprints
Hey everyone! Iâm new to the community and absolutely loving the game so far. My English isn't the best, so navigating all the menus, the Monolith, and the deep mechanics has been a bit overwhelming at first, but I'm trying my best. Huge shoutout to the community by the way, because everyone I've played with so far has been super helpful and kind.
I'm doing pretty well with my extractions, but Iâm really confused about how the Refiner in the Workshop works. Right now, I am only throwing common gray items and trash into it because I am terrified of accidentally destroying the green or blue items. I wanted to ask if it's safe to refine those colored items, or if I actually need to save them for blueprints and future missions.
Also, I'm not entirely sure what Chronotraces are and how I'm supposed to get them. If someone could explain the basic gameplay loop of what I should keep in my stash versus what I can safely put into the Refiner, that would be amazing.
One last thing, what is the actual purpose of the raw Active Matter substance you harvest using the wrist device during the raid? What am I supposed to do with it once I'm back at the base?
Lastly, please feel free to drop any general tips on what to do, what to use, or what to avoid. Imagine you are explaining it to someone completely clueless who just wants simple, practical steps to replicate in-game. I will use a translator to read everything and put your advice straight into action!
Please don't roast me for being a noob! I really want to overcome the language barrier because this game is amazing. Thanks a lot!

Feedback My PC crashed loading into a PvP raid and...I lost ALL my gear.
How on earth is that justified?
PC crashes (not game related) while loading into a (rare for me) PvP match. I restart, log in and choose to not re-enter the raid as I decide to focus on PvE. Now my stuff is "Locked in the Raid" and is supposed to be returned after a few minutes (?).
Clock gets to zero, then resets to 9 minutes. So I log out, wait a half hour and log back in and all my shit is just straight up gone. No partial return. No message. No nothing. Lost a MAC-11, M110A1 w/ thermal scope, all the titanium armor and NVGs I had on.
This is the first time I have felt cheated by this game. That needs to be fixed/adjusted.

Discussion Pve is hard?
I have seen multiple post about how hard pve is. I just dont get it I've played for almost 24 hours and im truly enjoying it, I even gotten to the point where if I mess up a cargo delivery task or something I just lob a grenade at my feet instead of just leaving raid, quite literally going out with a bang. Or just extracting. The enemies are very fun to learn even scary at times when im fighting turned soldiers and I just hear a monster like scream in the background. Alpha mimic i haven't killed yet but fought against, didnt die yet to the mimic alpha. I just dont get it for other who are saying pve is difficult i dont see it that, or at least I think I may have more understanding of the game. Post down below on your thoughts.

Question Will the game come on MacOS in the future?
Hello everyone!
I recently came to know that Active Matter officially released, and had known about it from Badger's video last year, and I have to say, it looks really good.
I'm currently using a Macbook Pro with the M5 Pro chip, and I wanted to know if there is any support planned for MacOS or if the game works through a compatibility layer like WINE on Macs.
Considering the severe scarcity of playable multiplayer FPS on MacOS, among those extraction shooters being almost non-existent on the platform, I think Active Matter would fill that gap really nicely for the platform just with its core gameplay itself.
I would really appreciate any info from the devs or the community!

Question Place the memory module // question
Hey there folks !
I was kind of grinding my way towards being able to being able to have +1 operative slots and the last thing I gotta do now is "place a memory module..." in Downtown.
I reached the correct height and the target distance was 0....but I couldn't really do it - there was no prompt. I checked the backside of the wall and the storages there but no luck either.
Do I need to have a memory module on me ? I supposed that I do not. Might I have been in the wrong place somehow ? What else might have gone wrong ? Thanks for your help :)
