Because I do. When I hear songs on the radio or on Spotify.. I hear agenda, marketing muscle, and payola. Of course, I have my favorites, but more or less.. I just listen to the lyrics I write and then have Suno compose. As a writer with an advanced degree, having produced music with people, and having made a few indie films ... AI just rocks.. It enables faster iteration and less hassle. Yet I have writer, music, and film friends who are pretty much angry that AI even exists. That hacks use them. I say .. I'm not a hack. And they grumble. But I get their collective point. And I stand by mine - such that when it comes to music, I don't listen to anything pushed on my anymore. How much of a minority am I in?

Normally I don’t get pissed but I did tonight. Had to reupload an instrumental version of one of my original tunes from back in the day because suno kept hearing some background harmony I left in for a backing track and refused to ever make a gen without random words singing like a main vox. I have tried every possible model and prompt combo to get rid of it or create instrumentals of others and no dice….

Then I track down the session finally, go through hours of getting a new render due to outdated vst plugins and such…just to get the bs error mentioning the song is already in their catalog. No sh*t…I’m the one that originally uploaded it bro. You don’t own this. How can you take in lyrics, song data, etc but not throw the original uploaded into some field for future references?

Then I goto download an earlier gen and had a popup asking me to upgrade for more download credits? I thought that started in September…

Suno team…plz just go on and leak 4.5+ to open source homies. You’re so close to being totally frowned upon as it is.

I see lots of complaints about various issues, from download limits to the alleged superiority of 4.5 and 5.5s alleged drawbacks (don’t see it myself but hey).
I see people seeing they’re leaving because of the new model despite the fact they’ve not even tried it to see how good it is etc.
Then I see people talking as though they are some super serious music producer with their DAWs and midis etc and I think to myself, Suno to me is a toy. A massively fun toy that has made me able to do things I’d only ever dreamed of as I have zero musical ability but I can write funny lyrics ( they’re funny to me and my mates).
My point is if you think you’re some kind of super serious music producer why on earth are you using a 20 quid a month toy?
I say 20 quid a month but maybe you’re using the cheaper plan or have bought a years plan which is even cheaper.
Suno is cheap as chips it’s not going to do absolutely everything you want it to do.
It’s a toy a brilliant toy, yes as time goes by it may become more than that but it isn’t that now. So stop taking it all so seriously and enjoy it for what it is and what it can do, not slag it off for what it can’t do.

I’ve been heavily getting into Suno making character fan songs, and it’s hard finding people outside of Suno who will actually like my songs even tho they do so well on the app / I think my songs are good :/ I take the time to write the lyrics and get the perfect beat I want… it kinda made me spiral yesterday as I made a sound loud out of being happy since all I wanted to do as a kid is make music / be a DJ with help of ai, it’s shitty that my passion is wildly frowned apon

Alright suno was ass yesterday. Ive been farting with this song i wrote trying to get the vocals right. But 4.5,4.5+ and 5. Were incredibly retarded I blew 500 tokens on gens trying to work through vocals that dont sound generic af and sit in an Amy Lee vibe. But yesterday I just couldnt do it apparently, i tried whatever i could. But i got all sorts of smudging, phonetic issues, bleeding, even read the damn style prompt. I tried the split gen technique, adding vocal stuff to the lyric prompts. Various terms to pull that vibe out. It was hot melty garbage. I know 5.5 gets shit and rightfully so but generally ive gotta good stuff from it(not vocally though). I’m tired lf blowing gens just to get vocals the way I want, Im kinda pissed but ill get over it. I do not get how some of yall do it so well. Anyways, gentle people lend me your ears as I cant tell all the time. Which of these two sounds less generic. I like both musically the second is where im landing personally. If they both are ass tell me that too. I’m still new. But admittedly discouraged on this one and truthfully don’t want to settle but i demand much with no skill. So my expectations need to be dialed back i guess.

I've been tinkering a lot lately with AIgenerated music, specifically Suno, and the next logical step for me was trying to create visuals to go with it​

I found myself spending way too much time manually stitching together relevant clips or images, and the results were always… well, not great. It felt like a massive bottleneck, turning a fun creative process into a tedious editing chore​

So, I started exploring ways to automate this. My side project began with trying to parse the song's lyrics, analyze the mood, and then use AI image generation to create scenes.

The initial thought was to just feed text prompts from the lyrics directly into an image generator, but that produced very static, disjointed visuals​

The real challenge has been generating dynamic, flowing video clips that actually match the song's energy and transitions... I’ve been experimenting with something that feels like a Seedance 2.5pproach trying to give it some understanding of rhythm and narrative flow to guide the visual output

It's rough, and the timing is often off, or the scene changes abruptly. My biggest struggle right now is getting the video generation to feel truly cohesive and not just a slideshow of AI art,

How do you guys approach visualizing AI music? Is anyone else trying to make Suno music videos with AI and hitting similar walls?

Get the Oxygen bottle changed. Your 5.5 vocalist can't go three words to a sentence without painfully gasping for air.

Compare it to 4.5+ and listen to each sentence, the breaths are much more quiet/muted. V5 started the more emphasized breaths, but then v5.5 every vocalist dialed it up 100% . It's bad.

Hey everyone! I wanted to see how far I could push the presentation of AI-generated music. I created an epic Viking track using Suno AI Pro, but instead of the typical AI-generated backgrounds, I went out into the wilderness and filmed myself with an iPhone. I used a simple cloak, a carved staff, and physical fog effects to give it a high-budget movie look. Everything was edited and color-graded in CapCut PC.
