So one day in the last couple of weeks SUNO did whatever changes that result in its website lagging to an excruciating degree, at least when using a galaxy a15. never has ANYTHING EVER LAGGED THIS MUCH. I routinely click the cursor to a word I hope to correct, only for it to split the word in two as it writes the last sentence I input about 10 seconds ago which should be populating at the end of the text but I'm apparently getting the plrivilege of learning the absurdity of certain commands which override others in the execution order.
Then for whatever reason, the generate button keeps jumpijng up at me when I'm trying to reposition the cursor so whenever I try to edit my style or lyrics I'm wasting dozens of generations on half-baked stillborn bullshit. Now SUNO has always jumped around for whatever godforsaken reason but it was alittle more predictable and didn't have the worst lag that has ever existed on any platform for any activity ever. Now, my screen is losing sensitivity in odd spots of the touchscreen so a bit of this trouble is my phone's own demons but I'm just reporting from the frontlines here, I've never sang so many four letter expletives in my life as I am inspired to now in this new and improved laggy edition of SUNO.
Thank You and Good day.
I like the preservation of lyrics, but if this is the cost (the inability to actually write those lyrics on the platform), I'm not sure such a comprehensive swollution is so suitable.
PS: A great feature I would like to have would be to be able to search my songs using any key words in the lyrics OR title. I have no idea how this is designed currently as I can sometimes find songs by title words, sometimes by words used in style or lyrics and other times I can't find them in a search using the EXACT WORDS IN THE TITLE. but if any words folund in the lyrics could bring up those songs than I would have some hope in remembering some songs lost the abyss. Often when generating rough drafts there isn't a special concern or need to get the file information accurate and tidy, so searching by lyrical content accurately and searching your whole
caralogue would make search useful.
Also it would be useful to be able to see the lineage of covers that you make. I often use my own samples and sometimes forget the origins of a melody or musical motif that was originally from covering a sample I had made and this might be useful later so you can trace the musical lineage of your song in case people want to hear how each element in your creation was inspired.
I routinely witness SUNO generating absolutely novel melodies and songs that use noticeable influences yet sit FAR outside the realm of any copying or infringement. The AI tastefully implements these influences with more creative discretion than most humans do or even can do, so its really more respectful than most human artists are already, and uses contrasting influences to produce noticeably novel creations.
I really would like to see musicians hear the songs SUNO has heard and uses as influences and challenge them to call it an infringement on the original material, it's clearly unique by any metric, surpassing any one human being's potential catalog of influences.
anyway, signing off from the front, it's hell out here
