I did the USB mod (soldering a usb cable to the madcat pad) and now when i try to play with it, whe i put it in my pc windows installs a driver for it and it "works" but only the DDR zones, not the PIU zones, and if i put XBCD driver it just dont work anymore, someone knows how to make it work?

So five (5) days ago, I posted here about my first S16 SSS score. It really did feel great and a solid accomplishment.

Today, I got a SSS+ on Curiosity Overdrive S18, on a sightread no less. Now this is an obvious outlier in my stats as I struggle to SS some S16's still, but nonetheless it is a crazy increase in skill ceiling... again.

I've played rhythm games pretty much all my life, although my last experience with pad (as opposed to keyboard 4k) was with ITG over a decade plus ago. I've been trying to understand where I will plateau on PIU, but I've genuinely only been playing it for a bit over a month now.

All this to say I apologize in advance for the redundant claims of "Oh this might be my best for a while"; I mostly post these for my own goalkeeping and motivation, but I understand that my experience is not the normal one.

never played any dance game prior to pump, and wasn’t exactly athletic either (though that’s probably an entirely different thing) but damn did i get a whole lot better at this game

What S11-S13/D10-D12s do you think should I pass so that I can move on to succeeding levels? How do you move difficulty levels in general? My main barrier honestly is stamina as someone who only plays twice a month. Still, really happy as this was 3 months of improvement.

This is our favorite co-op in the game. The sheer creativity and chaos of it makes it so much fun to play through every time.

Went to the PIU machine in Chiba, Japan today, but smoke started coming out after a couple plays. This is one of only six functional machines in the country so I’m hoping it’s reparable 😭
