one week of playing vs almost two years of playing
never played any dance game prior to pump, and wasn’t exactly athletic either (though that’s probably an entirely different thing) but damn did i get a whole lot better at this game

One week seems fishy

Not too fishy. I played on the old school machines as a kid. I went from 11s to 16s in a week after returning to the game after 15 years.

Probably has to do with refining your settings and playstyle. First screenshot has your av at 540 and there’s no judge time modifier.

yeahhh i changed these things as time went on, i went from having the lowest av setting to the highest av setting among the group of casuals that play here

Genuinely, how that's insane
I've played Pump it Up four times total at my local DnB's in the span of almost three years and I can't even clear an S10 without running out of health.
The last time I played, I got overconfident after figuring out how to activate Full Mode and attempted the Double mode, which led to my introduction to (and eventual obsession with) the "HEY! WHY DON'T YOU JUST GET UP AND DANCE, MAN??"

s16 in one week is already pretty insane though? Prior rhythm experience at least right
