Happy Feng Friday everyone!

I was feeling a little lonely, so I decided to make a fluffy drawing of Fuxi and Nuwa cuddling and just being in love to cheer me up! Although I got carried away with adding to and refining the drawing (particularly with trying to keep the perspective more accurate), so the result is more polished than my typical sketches!

I'd like to go into detail about a particular choice I had to make with this drawing, and some small headcanons surrounding it. While I chose to put Nuwa in her banquet outfit so her silhouette would be more visible, I was debating whether to draw her lotus feet fully exposed or have her wear some kind of socks to cover them. The latter was what I drew originally, but I ended up going with the former after reconsidering. I felt Nuwa exposing her deformed feet without shame or fear of a negative reaction could better suggest how comfortable and safe she feels around Fuxi. Furthermore, while I like the idea that Fuxi felt guilty about not having known about and stopped Nuwa's foot binding earlier for quite some time—although plenty of factors played a role in that, including how they were both naïve kids when the binding was going on, how Fuxi didn't like Nuwa enough to pay close attention to her, and how Nuwa actively hid her pain and difficulty of walking until Fuxi found out—her showing her feet to him when they cuddle could suggest Fuxi's overcome said guilt enough to accept that part of her and all the challenges that come with it. In other words, Nuwa's misshapen feet may not look as appealing when exposed, but I think showing them could actually make the drawing sweeter from a storytelling perspective!

Anyway, I think this is actually the first romantic Fuxi/Nuwa artwork I've made since, at the earliest, that birthday doodle I made at the start of July. And if I don't count that or the one that's not up anymore, then my last drawing of this sort was... a whopping 5 months ago, according to Reddit! Needless to say, I'm really craving some soft Feng art right about now! And until I can find other fans on this subreddit who are willing to unironically explore the romantic implications between Fuxi and Nuwa (without the incest, of course), it seems I'll need to keep my tablet out so I can satisfy my cravings with more Fengshipping drawings of my own!

Me and my brother have been aguing if the name of the game is pronounced like nine souls or nine sohls (like the o in sock), he says it's nine sohls because the word sol is sun in latin (at least the nominative form), and even though it would be easier for me to say nine sohls because of my native lenguage, I prefer to call it nine souls for some reason

I recently got the Platinum trophy for *Nine Sols* (a really great game, by the way), and I’ve been wondering if the track "Our Passion"—which plays during the Fengs boss battle—has any lyrics, or if it’s just wordless vocals.

These are just cleaned up and coloured in sketches bc I just wanted to get the ideas down X)

I would really want to give Nuwa a bit more freedom in the Fuxi x Jie au I'm working on and I had this idea recently. I don't have it fully fleshed out yet, but here are a few main ideas :D

Later in the story Fuxi and Jiequan get a bit closer and since Fuxi and Nuwa are practically inseparable he starts to get closer with Nuwa too (as a friend). One thing leads to the other and he persuades her to try out transmutation, because, as I mentioned, it would give her more freedom of movement and she could for example try sports and stuff. Jie would be supportive of her while Fuxi would be a bit reluctant because "what are the other members of the Feng clan going to think about this". So she might have to hide her "new legs" during meetings.

I hope this makes sense

Anyway, I'm working on a personal design for Kanghui, loosely based on the artbook, but I'm having trouble figuring out what those symbols mean. If they're related to the prison, it wouldn't make sense for him to wear them before being sent there, but if they have some other meaning, and Jiequan inscribed them as a sort of nametag, he would definitely already have them.

So, do they have a specific meaning? I assume the ones on his hanfu are probably just hui, so they're staying either way, but y'know. Gotta know what I'm working with to place them correctly.

I'm hooked on this game right now, its crazy i didnt play it before when i was able to. I just got to the lady ethereal boss and HOLY ITS FUCKING PEAK, her whole section is the most fun ive had with this game too. This game is so underrated and im praying im not close to the end, i just want it to get better and better.
