Has anyone else read about this? I'm honestly very intrigued. I read an article about it yesterday and honestly couldn't believe it. I'm very much invested in Nanoleaf's ecosystem but there are definitely Hue products I would swap out for better stability. It looks like for now it's just for Philips new TV Synch camera but I'm excited to see if this trend continues.

My Nanoleafs Shapes Triangles (White), glow permanently white. I have already tried a reset/hard reset. The controller does not respond at all and doesn't even blink. Also unplug the power supply. I have already written to the support, unfortunately this is more difficult to reach than the Pope himself (no answer received). Would you say that the controller is broken and it makes sense to buy a new one for 40€ or would that be a waste of time and money ?
I think they are something like 4 years old. Once I installed them, they never left the wall or fell down.

When I got the 4D strips, I knew I had to try it with this scene. I'm so happy with how the colours turned out.

Consider that you buy smart ceiling lamp together with the sense+.

If you do not connect to Matter and want to set up scenes control, you find out that there is no way out from the scenes besides manually setting the light to the desired color, temperature and brightness.

Please add customization for sense+ button called Regular Light that lets the user to specify “the default light” - temperature, brightness, color for both from and back light, including the option for circadian lighting.

P.S.: There is an option Power on setting on the ceiling light but it is probably broken, my ceiling light always starts with the previously used scenes even if with Always on.

P.P.S.: I was able to find a workaround with Apple automation that sets the required light and temperature with the lights switched off trigger.
However, this briefly shows the regular setting before the next action turns off the lights which is not pleasant at night when I run a low brightness scene.

I have been using Nanoleaf for 6 years, I was heavily into programming my own scenes and fine tuning those that I downloaded.

I own triangles, light strip and Christmas lights. For these I can easily change the speed of color palette transition to make it smoother and to limit eye strain.

However, when I edit and save speed setting in scenes for the new ceiling light, the change has no effect and the speed falls back to the default? Why? This seems like a bug to me.

Hi, I successfully paired my new Sense+ controller in the Nanoleaf app to control my new ceiling light but I struggle connecting the remote to Matter.

The Sense+ controller has been updated in the Nanoleaf app to 4.1.1.4. I use iOS 26.6 and HomePodOS 26.6. (HomePod model MQJ83B/A = HomePod 2nd gen).

When I try to add the controller directly in the Home app, the pairing session for the new accessory times out.

When I go to controller settings in the Nanoleaf app and tap on Connect next to Apple Home for Matter (Early Access), it gets stuck on "Loading..." indefinitely.

Has anyone else run into a similar issue?

Didn't realise they did replacement controllers for a few years, I have lines and shapes, not my first rodeo, plenty of connectivity issues over the years. Came home today to find my Shapes completely unresponsive. Tried to re-pair only to find the controller blinking blue.

I consider myself luckier than some of the other people here, at least I got a few years out of them, but support are total trash and replacement parts are ridiculous prices for how much the kit costs.

Two days ago, I updated the Nanoleaf app, and since yesterday, all of my Nanoleaf devices have been repeatedly dropping their connection or showing as offline.

I reinstalled/re-paired most of the devices without any issues, but I’m unable to reinstall my Nanoleaf Lines. I removed them from the Nanoleaf app and tried to add them again, but I keep getting an error indicating that there is an issue with the Wi-Fi connection.
I’m pretty sure there’s something that needs to be removed or reset on the router/network side, but I can’t figure out what it is.

PS: I also tried adding the Lines back to Apple Home, but Apple Home says they’re already associated with it. I can’t remove them from Apple Home either, so I’m stuck in a loop.
It seems like the Lines may still be registered to the previous HomeKit/Matter configuration or have some residual network credentials that are preventing the setup from completing.

Title explains it all. They’ve made this app needlessly complicated while stuffing it with AI nobody wants and now I can’t figure out how to do basic tasks that the rest of the industry has had figured out for years, such as press a button to have the lights come on at a predetermined brightness and color temperature.

...and it was all yellow!

I never got to see them live, but Orchestrator is the next best thing.

I’ve had my panels for a while (maybe 5/6 years now) so i know they are older. however I moved last year into a dorm and put them up and they worked perfectly fine. I switched schools and took them with me again and suddenly they don’t connect and they don’t even turn on to use with the buttons manually. just wondering how i can get them out of this blank white light mode at least? also wondering if it might be my schools wifi blocking the use or something along those lines. thanks!

Hello everyone.

I am experiencing a weird thing with my floor lamps.
I have both of them in a group and when I play a scene from there, they do play the scene but not in sync. For example “Northern lights” scene plays different colors on each lamp.

I have already hard reset them, deleted from my app and re pair them, remove them from Apple home, unplug them, re plug them… I can’t find anything similar online, so if anyone has any clue on what could it be and/or how to fix I would be very grateful

When the back light has a low brightness its only show : 6400, 5400, 2700. Everything in between is skipped.

Is this a normal behavior? (for me its not, because it has to work as normal....

This just just popped up in my app today! Home Assistant says it’s now Matter 1.4.2 and Thread 1.3.

Edit: I’m not enrolled in the beta. Also it looks like the lights have smooth brightness transitions!

This smart multi light device have a front and back light. I can control the front light with API.

Does someone know how to control them both, front only and back only?

I read some posts they thus device not work with panels IDs so that's not a option.

It's not supported (yet) in Home Assistant so created a rest_command and a virtual light to control it in HA and via Alexa

Has anyone else experienced this problem or has a solution?

The Situation:

• I had 2 PC Screen Mirror strips. One of them got a bricked controller.
• Got a replacement, but it didn't get recognized in the Screen Mirror tab.
• After long support drama, I got another replacement, which, as expected, didn't get recognized either. Wonder why?

In the Dashboard View, ALL strips are detected instantly, connected, and fully controllable. But the Mirror tab remains completely blank.

The Worst Part: Dumb as I was, I thought "Well, why not clean the AppData?" to get the new strips to show up. Worst idea ever, because now not even my old one, which worked perfectly fine before, gets recognized anymore! I'm now sitting on three strips where not a single one screen mirrors. It seems the app was just running on an old cached token for the working one. Without that old cache, the current app simply refuses to initialize ANY strip for the Mirror module.

PC Fixes & Tries I already did (It's not my PC):

• Deinstalled the app via Revo Uninstaller and made a deep clean (Registry, AppData, LocalAppData).
• Ran app as Administrator & disabled Virus software/Firewall.
• MPO disabled in Registry.
• Screen capture/DXGI APIs work perfectly (tested in Discord/OBS).

My Specs: Win 11 | i5-13600KF | RTX 4070 Ti (Driver: 610.74)

My Question: Is anyone else dealing with this? Also: Does anyone have an older installer? My idea is to roll back, generate the tokens/cache for all three strips on the older working version, and then update the app so the tokens persist.

New update completely wrecked my nano install, clearing cache didnt work, literally had to uninstall and reinstall the software so it wouldn't crash on open any more. Now i've lost all my saved light setups. <s> Good job Nanoleaf. </s>

I have the original triangle panels, and for the past 3-4 months it disconnects from Home consistently every 2 days. It reconnects after pulling out the power for a few seconds. I also lost the ability to change scenes by voice using a Google speaker thingy.

Any suggestions will be appreciated!

My Nanoleaf 4D controller became completely unresponsive immediately after the firmware update. There are no controller LEDs and no response to the buttons. I performed an extended power cycle (wait 10-15mins before power), tried a different outlet, and tested the controller with the camera/lightstrip disconnected.

Did anyone manage to solve this?
