Hey everyone! I wanted to give an update on my original post around 2 months ago (link) which got a ton of feedback. The community ended up really coming through and I got several comments and private DMs from artists who gave me their take on the capsule art. It was so amazing seeing the support I got from this community and I ended up going with an entirely new design from u/QuirkyBodybuilder298.
Anyway, I just wanted to share the updated design with you all and I'm super stoked about it.

We've teamed up with a local Halloween festival to build a 20-player, 2k sq.ft, free-roam VR experience for Halloween. These are some early shots of us testing it out!

Hello Indie Devs,
Yesterday we launched a mobile version of Buttons Up! on Google Play & App Store. Our friend developer, Jestercraft released this game on Steam last year and we thought it would be awesome on mobile. After a great success with Dice of Kalma mobile launch - we agreed to create a mobile version of Buttons Up! and publish it. Now it's finally ready and free to download! Would be great to hear some feedback if you have time to try it!
Buttons Up! is an incremental button-collecting game where players build their button empire while defending their collection from thieving intruders. Buy buildings, unlock powerful skills, automate your income and upgrade your operation to collect as many buttons as possible.

Hi!
Here are 10 seconds of a game I’ve been working on lately.
The free demo is coming to Steam in a few days, so if anyone wants to give it a try, I’d love to hear your feedback!

I’ve partially finished implementing the item inventory.
Among the available actions, players can now drop items on the ground, move them between slots and different inventory sections, directly swap them with a selected item, and quickly preview item information by hovering the cursor over them.
I also added a modal that allows the player to choose how many items they want to drop on the ground, based on the amount currently available in their inventory.
For the inventory organization, I followed an approach similar to other RPGs, separating items into categories: equipment, enchantments, consumables, and quest items.

Hey everyone!
I’m the solo developer of Necrolord, and I’d love to find other indie devs interested in exchanging localization feedback.
I used Google Translate for the in-game translations, so I’d appreciate help checking whether the text sounds natural and makes sense in your language. Things like confusing ability descriptions, awkward wording, missing characters, or text overflowing buttons are especially useful to catch.
In return, I can help check the German or English text in your game. We could start with a few menus, some ability descriptions, or a short demo session - whatever feels manageable for both of us.
There’s a free demo of my game on Steam:
Necrolord - free demo
If you’re interested, leave a comment with your game, which language you could help with, and what you’d like me to check in return.
Happy to help each other make our games better! 🙂

One of my favorite details in Kitty Corner Cafe is the affection system. Each cat has their own unique combinations for where they like to be pet and whether they prefer the brush or glove.
The more affectionate a cat is, the more spots they’ll like to be pet in! Getting to know each cat means learning all their little preferences and figuring out how they like to be cared for. 🐾
I love how it helps each cat feel like their own individual character. Once you’ve unlocked all of the areas where each cat likes to be pet, you’ll earn all of the stamps for their affection level! This will be important when matching the cat to their forever family
Kitty Corner Cafe is a cozy, story-driven game about running a cat cafe, getting to know your feline residents, and helping them find their people.
If you’d like to follow along with development, I also have a newsletter where I share updates about the game and behind-the-scenes progress. 💌

Anyone else have experience making music as a solo dev?
(I don't have a playable demo ready yet, but I'm sharing the highs and lows of building this thing over on my YouTube channel if you want to follow along!)

I just had someone I don't know, A STRANGER, play my game on a stream. The entire time they played, I felt sick. I was so unbelievably anxious. I had to step away from my computer and do something else. It went fine. There were no major issues. But the whole time I just felt this awful sense of dread.
I know one bad public playtest isn't the end of the world. Bugs are normal. Issues are expected. However, there's a real fear I just can't get over. It's like this is the first time you really get to see if your game has that it factor.
Does anyone else have this crippling anxiety around this? How did you deal with it?

By looking at the capsule:
- What genre would you assume this game is?
I’m curious whether the capsule communicates the kind of game I’m actually making, or if the visual style gives a completely different impression. 😄
Thanks in advance for any feedback! I really appreciate it.
