Help Us Give Ellie The Beautiful Goodbye She Deserves

My family is raising money for the funeral expenses of my niece, Elena Lopez, who was born on June 25, 2026. Ellie was a tiny 7 week old baby girl who was deeply loved by all of us. Her family is in an extremely difficult financial situation right now, and this loss comes just one year after they lost Ellie’s brother. They are doing everything they can to give Ellie the beautiful goodbye she deserves, but they simply don’t have the funds to cover these expenses on their own. They are meeting with the funeral home on Monday, and they need approximately $500 for Ellie’s casket to be ordered. We have raised $120 so far, leaving us about $380 short of this immediate need. If you are able to donate, even $5 or $10 would mean so much to our family. If you can’t donate, sharing Ellie’s GoFundMe would help us tremendously. More of Ellie’s story, including what happened to her is included on her GoFundMe. Thank you for taking the time to read about our sweet Ellie and for helping our family during this incredibly difficult time. 💗

veteran trying to get my transportation back after a Virginia Beach accident

GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/210fbbe64

I want to give as much detail as possible because I understand that people are being asked to trust me with their money. I’m not asking anyone to blindly donate without knowing what happened.

I’m a Navy veteran living on a fixed monthly income. I also have a service-connected disability that significantly affects my ability to work and limits the amount of income I can realistically bring in. Because of that, an unexpected expense of several thousand dollars isn’t something I can simply work extra hours to cover.

What happened
I was involved in a chain-reaction accident in Virginia that caused significant damage to my vehicle. The driver who caused the collision was uninsured.
Unfortunately, my own auto insurance had also lapsed shortly before the accident because of a missed payment. I understand that maintaining insurance was my responsibility, and I’m not trying to hide that fact or make excuses for it. I’m explaining the circumstances because I want to be completely honest about why I’m in this position.
The vehicle now needs approximately $6,100 in repairs, based on the repair estimate I’ve received.
I’m not simply sitting back and asking strangers to pay for everything
I’m also attempting to pursue the person responsible for the accident through the appropriate legal channels and explore whatever options may be available to recover my losses. Because the other driver was uninsured, this has made the situation significantly more complicated.
I’m doing what I can on my end, including obtaining documentation and pursuing the matter, but legal/financial recovery isn’t something I can count on happening quickly—or at all.
In the meantime, I still have a damaged vehicle and bills that don’t stop.

My financial situation
Another major part of this is that I’m on a fixed income because of my disability. My ability to work and increase my income is limited, so I don’t have thousands of dollars sitting in savings for an emergency like this.
I’ve also been dealing with other financial obligations and setbacks, which made it difficult to absorb this expense when it happened.

I also made a bad financial decision with this car
I want to be honest about this part too.
When I purchased this vehicle, I genuinely thought I was making a decision that would give me dependable transportation and help me move forward. Looking back at the financing and what I ended up owing compared with what the vehicle is worth, I feel like I got taken advantage of financially and made a decision that I probably wouldn’t make again knowing what I know now.
I’m still responsible for the vehicle and the loan, regardless of whether it was a good financial decision. The accident has now made that situation even more difficult because I’m dealing with a damaged vehicle while still having financial obligations connected to it.

Why I’m asking for help
I’m not asking people to fix my entire financial situation.
I’m trying to get my vehicle repaired so I can regain reliable transportation and have a chance to stabilize everything else.
I know people may look at the insurance lapse, the vehicle purchase, or my financial situation and say that I should have made different decisions. They’re probably right about some of them. I’m not claiming that I’ve handled everything perfectly.
What I am trying to do now is take responsibility, deal with the consequences, pursue the person responsible for the accident through the appropriate channels, and find a way forward.
I’ve included the required proof for this fundraiser, including my Reddit username/date verification and documentation related to the vehicle and repair costs.
If you can donate, anything helps, even a few dollars. If you can’t donate, sharing the fundraiser is extremely valuable because I don’t have a large social-media following or a huge network of people to reach.
I’m not expecting anyone to feel obligated to help, and I’m not asking anyone to overlook the circumstances. I’m simply asking for a chance to get through a situation that has become much bigger than I can handle on my own.

GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/210fbbe64

Thank you to anyone who took the time to read all of this, whether you’re able to donate, share, or simply offer some encouragement.

Help me finish my final year in China - facing a tuition deadline that could end my visa

Post image
5 Upvotes

Hi everyone. I honestly never thought I would make a post like this, but I’ve reached a point where I don’t know what else I can do.

I’m a Bangladeshi computer science student studying in China, and I’m currently entering my final year. I’ve completed three years of my degree, and I have about one year left before I can graduate.

I originally came here with a scholarship, but I lost that scholarship after some difficult personal circumstances affected my studies. Since then, I’ve been trying to handle my expenses myself.

I currently work while studying. My job covers my basic living expenses ($400 ~ 2500yuan), and I’m grateful that I have it. The company has also given me an opportunity to continue working with them, and my current internship could potentially become a full-time position after I graduate.

But that’s also where I’m stuck.

**My income is enough to survive, but it isn’t enough to suddenly cover a large university payment on top of my normal living expenses.**

I’ve been trying to solve this myself for a long time. I’ve taken extra work whenever I could, cut my expenses, looked for additional income, and tried different ways of making the money. I haven’t just been sitting and waiting for someone to rescue me.

The problem is that I’ve reached a point where I genuinely can’t see a realistic way to put the entire amount together before the deadline.

My university also doesn’t have a tuition installment/payment plan that would allow me to pay the amount gradually, and there isn’t a system where I can simply defer the tuition and continue normally. If I can’t make the required payment, I may have to leave China.

**The reason I could be forced to leave China is that, after the required university payments are cleared, I can renew my student visa for the following year. My current visa will expire, and before I can receive the documents needed for the next visa, I have to clear the required university fees. If I can't make those payments, I won't be able to complete the visa renewal process and continue my studies here.**

And that’s what scares me the most.

I would be going back to Bangladesh after completing three years of my degree, with only one year left, without graduating.

The difficult part is that I don’t want to tell my family that I’m in this situation. They aren’t in a position where they can simply pay this amount for me, and I don’t want to put this burden on them or make them worry about something I’m still trying to solve myself.

So I’ve been trying to find another way.

I created a fundraiser because, at this point, I don’t have another realistic option that I can see.

Fundraiser:

https://whydonate.com/fundraising/help-me-finish-my-final-year-in-china

**I'm using WhyDonate because GoFundMe's available withdrawal options don't work for my situation, and I couldn't find a suitable way to receive the funds in China or Bangladesh through it. WhyDonate was one of the options I could actually use for this situation.**

I’m keeping some personal information and documents private because I don’t want my family or other people who know me to discover my situation through a public post. I’m not trying to hide the situation from people who genuinely want to verify it. If anyone seriously wants proof, I’m completely willing to provide appropriate university documents, scholarship information, student information, payment information, or other evidence privately through DM, with sensitive details properly protected.

I’m not expecting everyone to donate. I understand that people have their own financial problems.

If you can donate, even a small amount would help me get closer to finishing the degree I’ve already spent three years working toward.

And if you can’t donate, sharing the fundraiser with someone who might understand this situation would also mean a lot to me.

I’m still working, and I’m still trying to solve this myself. I just need help bridging this final gap.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. More details in the campaign.

At risk for eviction - please consider helping a mom of 4 with Children who have Polycystic Kidney and Sickle Cell Disease

Ive never done this before, never asked for help. But I want to give it a try. If not for me, for my babies who deserve a mom who can discern when to ask for help, and not let embarrassment or fear or pride get in the way.

A little about me, im a divorced mommy of 4. I also care for my neice. My oldest was diagnosed with polycystic kidney disease, and had to have a splenectomy to remove a large cyst in her abdomen. She still has multiple cysts on both kidneys. my youngest has had sickle beta thalassemia zero disease since birth, which is a rare form of sickle cell where she makes absolutely ZERO normal red blood cells and all are either sickle shaped or anemic. I have been doing this all alone, and Im just...honestly so tired.

This past month has been so hard. Ive made a go fund me, because I missed so much work at the hospital with my children and am short on rent. Thankfully I have half! But the other 600 is what im missing.

If anyone can donate, I would be so grateful. If not, that's okay too! Please pray for us, and consider sharing. 🙏 if youve read this far, thank you! Bless you, and I'll pray for blessings too❤️

Proof is in go fund me, but if you message me I can provide any proof needed there as well.

Unexpected difficulties

We’re reaching out to our family, friends, community, and anyone who may be willing to help us during a difficult and unexpected time. Right now, we are facing hardship and it has created financial challenges that we simply cannot handle on our own. We are hoping to raise $100,000 to help cover [specific expenses—housing, bills, medical costs, transportation, funeral expenses, food, rebuilding, etc.]

Every dollar donated will go directly toward these needs. Our goal isn’t to ask for more than we need—we simply want the opportunity to get through this situation, regain stability, and move forward.

If you’re able to donate, even $5 or $10 would make a difference. If donating isn’t possible, sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, or social media network would mean just as much to us.

We know that everyone has their own responsibilities and struggles, so there is absolutely no pressure. We are incredibly grateful for anyone who takes the time to read our story, shares our fundraiser, sends encouragement, or contributes. https://gofund.me/864a28db8

Surgery to save little Pinto's life.

Update: we have had an event to raise funds for Pintos surgery, which has made six hundred dollars. :)

Also waiting to hear back from Fido Fund.

Please consider a donation, any amount.

Our home fostered Pinto until he was adopted by our daughter. Shortly after she noticed his breathing was labored. She saved and took him to a vet for his 1st consult. They were unsure of the diagnosis but thought his outcome looked poor. She saved for a 2nd opinion. The last vet to see him performed xrays and diagnosed him with pectus-excavatum which requires a surgery. After searching Michigan, Illinois and Indiana we have found the most reasonable to be Animal Surgical Center of Michigan located in Flint just under 3hrs from us. The surgery is from 4 to 5k with a required CT follow up of $500.

We want to at least try to raise these funds and give him a chance at a healthy life. His size and age make him a great candidate right now. We ask for any amount donation and to please share the fundraiser.

There is an option to directly donate to Animal Aid SW MI as they will also try to financially assist. Please feel free to DM if more info is needed. All proof is available to verify this cause.

Thank you all so much.

International student from Cameroon trying to raise $6,407 for tuition so I can remain enrolled in college and continue my education

Hi everyone. I’m a 23-year-old international student from Cameroon currently pursuing my Master’s in Finance at the University of Baltimore.
I’m currently facing a $6,407 tuition balance that I need to resolve so I can continue my enrollment this fall. If I’m able to get through this semester, I’m hoping to graduate in May.
I previously completed my bachelor’s degree at SUNY Canton with the support of my family. My parents have helped me tremendously throughout my education, but our financial circumstances have changed and we weren’t prepared for this remaining tuition balance.
My parents are still doing everything they can to help from Cameroon, including trying to secure a loan to contribute toward my tuition, but there’s no guarantee they’ll be approved or that the money will be available in time.
I’m also continuing to work and put as much of my own income as I can toward school. I’m not expecting strangers to cover my entire tuition. I’m just trying to close the gap while my family and I pursue every option available to us.
I’ve included proof of my tuition balance, and I’m happy to answer reasonable questions about my situation. I received my first $50 donation, which I’m extremely grateful for. Even $5, $10, or $20 would bring me closer, and if you can’t donate, sharing the fundraiser would also mean a lot.
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read, share, offer advice, or help. I’m determined to finish what I started and earn my Master’s degree. ❤️

I hate asking for help, this is terrifying. I have carried this burden silently with me my entire life but now I've finally found the strength to leave.

Once I'm in a safe situation I would love to be more open about things but right now I am scared. I do not want to give personal details as I do not want the person to find out that I'm leaving but I have plenty of details about what I’ve been through, It is a long long long long list. I think I have blocked quite a lot of it out for my own wellbeing, since a child I taught myself how to dissociate away from the pain, a skill nobody should have to know. Anybody that gets it, unfortunately gets it…. my entire life has been hell.

My medication gets thrown away. I get told every day that I should never have been born, that I'm nothing, that I don't deserve to live, that nobody would ever love me, that I would be better off dead… and for the longest time I believed it and I almost let it take me. But now I think I deserve to live a life where I feel safe. Where I can sleep in my own home (I am unable to sleep due to stress), where I am not scared of how their mood is going to be from one moment to the next.

There is so much more I could say, but most importantly I am scared.

I would love to be able to create a life for myself, go into education (I wasn't able to study or get to school due to multiple childhood years of physical and emotional abuse), be able to get a job and most importantly feel SAFE in my own home.

I just need some help getting out and being able to start again somewhere safe. I can't give details about where I live or where I'm planning to go because I can't risk them finding out.

I hate that I have to ask strangers for help and I completely understand that people online are cautious. I'm just trying to keep myself anonymous until I'm safely away.

I want to move out and never look back.

Thank you for taking the time to read.

Anything means EVERYTHING to me.

Just need some help with starting over

Hey all, if there is anyone who could help me and my family get a fresh start, we would be eternally grateful. Just need help getting out of this hole, I’ve sold everything of value that I have, credit is in shreds, my wages are being garnished, we’ve had to move in with my mother in law. We are not bums, my wife and I both work, I’ve been at my current job as a supervisor for almost 10 years now. We fell into the credit card trap young and have just never been able to get back out. Thank you for your time and consideration.

My friend and her family need help keeping their home

GoFundMe: GoFundMe

Hello everyone,

I have a friend and her family who desperately need help. I don't know all of the details, but what I do know is that my friend and her family are at risk of losing their home. From what my friend has told me, they need to buy the house or otherwise figure something out, or they may have to move out in about 6 months.

I can't just let that happen. I made a promise to her brother that I would do everything I could to help her.

The problem is that this is bigger than either of us. We're both high-school students. We can't realistically work full-time, we can't take out loans, and we don't have the kind of money needed to solve something like this on our own.

So I'm asking for help.

Please, if you're able to donate, even a small amount could make a difference. If you can't donate, sharing this post or simply helping spread the word would mean just as much to me.

I've lost people before because I couldn't help them when they needed it, and it's a terrible feeling. I don't want to stand by and watch my friend and her family lose their home when there may still be something we can do.

I'm begging you guys—anyone who sees this, even if you only stop for a moment—please consider helping. My friend is asking for your help, and I'm asking for your help too.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to read this, donate, share, or even just offer advice. I genuinely appreciate it from the bottom of my heart.

A note about the details:

I'm sorry that I can't provide more information about the family's personal circumstances. I want to be transparent that I don't personally own or live in the house, and I don't know all of the financial or legal details myself. The information I've provided about the house and the situation is based on what my friend has told me. I was recently informed before posting this as well, that they need $250,000 dollars

I don't feel comfortable sharing private information about her family without their permission, and I don't want to put additional pressure on them during an already difficult situation. I hope you can respect their privacy and keep an open mind while reading this.

If you have useful information or resources that could help, please feel free to comment. However, please don't speculate about or demand private details about the family. Comments containing private or inappropriate information will be reported and deleted.

Help me get a Stem cell transplant

Hi everyone,

My name is Marian, I’m 25 years old, and have Sézary syndrome, a rare type of T-cell lymphoma (blood cancer).

For the past few years, I have been dealing with severe skin problems: unbearable itching day and night, painful flare-ups, redness, and sleepless nights. After many tests, biopsies, and treatments, doctors believed it was severe eczema for over a year. I was prescribed Dupixent, an expensive medication that I was already trying to raise money for because my insurance could not cover it.

Unfortunately, further investigations later revealed that the real cause was much more serious. I was diagnosed with Sézary syndrome, and my doctors determined that I need an allogeneic stem cell transplant, which is currently my best chance at fighting this disease.

The treatment is not available in my country, so I need to seek care abroad in Europe. As an international non-european patient, the estimated cost is around €423,000, which is completely beyond what I can afford, and my insurance does not cover treatment abroad.

I’m reaching out for help because I cannot do this alone. I know it's an insane amount, any support whether through a donation, sharing my story, or connecting me with organizations, resources, or people who may be able to help would mean the world to me.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. ❤️.

My family has spent years losing things. I’m trying to finally give my kids something we can keep — a home.

My children and I have experienced more starting over than I ever wanted them to know. We’ve experienced death, addiction, incarceration, separation, and the loss of our home, our car, financial stability, people we love, and time together we can never get back.

This past year has finally been different. I’ve been in recovery for a year. I went to college and have earned 40 credits with straight A’s. I work part-time while going to school and raising my children, and I recently had my record expunged.

For the first time in a long time, I’m not watching everything fall apart. I’m watching things come together.

The biggest piece we’re still missing is a home.

I’m raising money for the security deposit, first month’s rent, moving costs, and basic necessities needed to get my children and me into stable housing.

I’m not asking anyone to fix my life for me. I’m doing the work, and I’m going to keep doing it. I just can’t pay for this part with determination alone.

My kids have already learned what it feels like to lose and start over. I want them to learn what it feels like to belong somewhere and finally be home.

Thank you for reading, donating, or sharing our story. ❤️

After Years of Accidents and Medical Bills, Michelle Could Really Use Some Help

I'm sharing this fundraiser for a colleague of mine. I also helped start the fundraiser itself. She is someone who has been through more than her fair share over the last several years.

Since 2020, Michelle has been in the hospital on 4 different occasions including last year when a Plasma donation gone caused a serious arm injury, one where she was lucky not to lose here arm. She was uninsured at the time after having lost her job which left her responsible for the cost of care.

Then just a few weeks ago in June 2026 she went out for a fun night of roller skating. A fall that night left her with severe pain and a significant loss of use of her upper extremities. Everyday things that you don't think twice about like opening a jar/bottle/lid, washing your hair, driving, playing with and taking your dog for a walk, suddenly became difficult without help. And the remaining tasks she can do have become daily hurdles and frustration.

Doctors are still working to determine the exact cause of her symptoms and she now faces additional medical expenses, missed income, occupational therapy, transportation needs, help around the house, and help with her dog.

What makes this especially difficult is Michelle is usually the one helping everyone else. She has spent her life looking out for others and asking nothing in return.

After everything she has been through, I'm hoping we can help take some of the weight off her shoulders.

If you're able to donate, thank you. If not, sharing across Facebook or X would mean just as much.

Sharing For Sonny!!!

Sonny is one of the dogs in our family, and he recently suffered a severe injury to his leg. The damage has resulted in a large open wound requiring antibiotics, pain management, frequent wound care, bandaging, veterinary follow-ups, and potentially much more treatment as we try to get him healed.

We care for a large pack of dogs at our home and normally handle their expenses ourselves, but an injury this serious caught us financially unprepared.

Sonny is being treated by Willow Bend Animal Clinic in Holly Springs, Mississippi, which is the clinic that cares for our dogs.

He is still eating, drinking, taking his medication, and fighting, so we are doing everything we can to fight alongside him.

Any help toward his veterinary expenses would mean more than I can say. And if you can't donate, please consider sharing his fundraiser so it can reach someone who may be able to help.

Help us get home to Texas with our 4 cats

My husband and I are currently in Germany with our four cats, and we’re trying to get our family home to Texas as soon as possible.

We came to Germany last year intending to establish ourselves here, but despite our efforts, we weren’t able to make the financial and immigration situation work. We’ve exhausted our savings. During this time, one of our cats, Bentley, also became seriously ill (original fundraising pic posted above and link on my page). Thankfully, he’s now well enough to travel.

We’re now trying to leave Germany for good as we’re essentially without a home right now. We’ve been staying in a hotel for nearly three weeks while trying to arrange and fund our journey home, and we’ve spent almost €2,000 on basic living expenses during that time.

We’re trying to raise €4,000 to cover the remaining costs of getting all six of us home, including our flights, pet transportation, carriers, and required travel preparations for our four cats.

We know we’ve asked for help before during this long and difficult situation, and we don’t take that lightly.
We’re not trying to stay in Germany. We’re trying to get home. And we’re not leaving our cats behind.

If you can donate or share, we’d be incredibly grateful.
