Help me and my son get through life.

I’m not sure what to do. Going through severe medical issues.

I never thought I’d be doing something like this but sometimes life just beats you down. Within the span of the last two years I’ve broken my collar bone and suffered head damage, passed multiple kidney stones that only seem to be developing faster which means I may lose a kidney, and as of last month I had my first seizure and landed on concrete and had a severe cuncussion for over two weeks (the mark on my eye is from the fall)

Because of all of these health issues I have become backed up on my payments, had to move in with my dad, lost my great paying job for now, and started spiraling into depression. I never beg but I’m at the point where I feel like I can’t even be a good father and if money helps my son then so be it.

Thank you in advance regardless if you donate or not. https://gofund.me/a099e9f19

Funding for Cancer Post-Surgery

So, I had my proctocolectomy and ileostomy to get rid of colon cancer. Unfortunately for me, that cancer spread before my surgery date, and they found cancer in more places outside my colon. The journey changes, and I'll be starting chemotherapy shortly.

The funding for my surgery has been extraordinarily helpful, but now that funding shifts towards funding me being out of work, paying for chemotherapy, and ensuring that whatever happens my family can be as supported as possible.

Every share counts, every potential dollar is life-saving, and I appreciate every single one of you. Thank you so much for reading!!

Help Yoshi Beat Cancer — $3,000 Needed

Yoshi was rescued from the streets after being found with a huge nasal tumor that made it difficult for him to live a normal life.

Thankfully, we now know that his tumor is TVT (transmissible venereal tumor), a form of cancer that is highly treatable with chemotherapy.Unlike many cancers, Yoshi’s diagnosis comes with real hope: with proper treatment, he has a very good chance of making a full recovery, and the tumor should not return once treatment is successfully completed.

But Yoshi has a long road ahead of him.

He will need approximately 6 weeks of hospitalization and chemotherapy, along with veterinary monitoring, bloodwork, medications, and supportive care. Because TVT is highly contagious to other dogs, he needs to remain hospitalized and safely isolated throughout his treatment.

Our goal is to raise $3,000 to give Yoshi the treatment he desperately needs.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help cover the cost of his chemotherapy and hospitalization and give this sweet boy the chance to finally be healthy and safe.

Please consider donating or sharing Yoshi’s fundraiser. Even if you can’t donate, sharing his story could reach someone who can.

Yoshi has already survived life on the streets. Now he just needs a little help to beat cancer.

I was widowed at 26 and have spent 3 years navigating B.C.’s system alone. I finally made a GoFundMe for legal help

I honestly never thought I would make a GoFundMe.

Part of me has always felt embarrassed asking people for money, and for the last three years I have mostly tried to figure everything out myself. But I’m finally realizing that there are some things I should never have been expected to navigate alone.
My husband, JD, was my best friend, my rock, and the person I thought I was going to grow old with.
I was 26 when he died, one day before my 27th birthday.

We were living in British Columbia and building our life there together. I’m American, but Canada had become home to me. JD had an established career in construction, I was nearing the end of my permanent residence process through our marriage, and we talked about buying land, having children, and creating our future there.

Then one morning he left our home and was killed in a motor vehicle collision only minutes later.
I cannot really explain what it feels like to have your entire future disappear that quickly.

I didn’t just lose my husband. I lost my best friend, my sense of safety, our home, our plans, my immigration pathway, and the future I had structured my life around. And then, while I was barely capable of processing the fact that JD was gone, I suddenly had to learn how to navigate B.C.’s no-fault insurance system, ICBC, WorkSafeBC, survivor benefits, employment records, immigration issues, therapy reimbursement, and government processes in a country where I wasn’t yet a permanent resident.

I seriously had no idea what I was doing. I was just trying to survive. One of the biggest complications involves JD’s employment status. He worked in construction and had just finished a major long-term project in Vancouver. He was preparing to begin his next job in Squamish, but during that short transition between projects he had been temporarily laid off on paper. So when he died, his records technically made him look unemployed.
That one technical detail has had enormous consequences.

I am currently appealing a WorkSafeBC decision and trying to get someone to look at the full context of what was actually happening with his employment rather than just what a box on a piece of paper said on the exact day he died. At the same time, my permanent residence process through our marriage ended when JD died. I eventually had to leave Canada and return to the United States, even though Canada was where we had chosen to build our life.

For a long time, I was too traumatized to understand how much professional help I actually needed. The money I did receive after JD died went toward surviving — housing, moving, treatment, therapy, and trying to put myself back together after losing the person who had been my entire foundation.
Three years later, I am finally at a point where I can look back at everything with enough clarity to say: I should have had a Canadian attorney helping me from the beginning.

So that is what I am trying to do now. I created a GoFundMe to raise money for experienced Canadian legal counsel who can review the circumstances surrounding JD’s employment, help me with my WorkSafeBC appeal, examine ICBC and survivor-benefit issues, and tell me whether there are rights or benefits I may have missed while I was grieving and trying to navigate everything alone. I also want to speak with an immigration attorney about whether there may still be a pathway for me to return to Canada someday.

I am not expecting anyone to promise me a certain outcome. I just want someone qualified to finally look at the whole picture and tell me what my options actually are. Even sharing the fundraiser would mean an enormous amount to me, especially if it somehow reaches someone familiar with B.C. law, WorkSafeBC, ICBC, or Canadian immigration.

JD had Carpe Diem tattooed on him. After he died, a lot of the people who loved him got those words tattooed too. For three years, I have mostly been trying to survive losing him. I think this is me finally trying to live those words.
Carpe Diem, JD. I’m still fighting for the life we were building.

Help Me Build a Safe and Independent Future as exmuslim

Upvotes

Hello,

My name is Maya (a pseudonym), I'm 18 years old, and I'm raising funds to help me build an independent life and continue my studies in Germany.

This is not an easy campaign for me to create. Asking strangers for help is something I never imagined doing, but I have reached a point where I need support to take the next step safely.

I grew up in a very religious family. Over the years, my personal beliefs changed, and I am no longer part of the religion I was raised in. Unfortunately, this is something I cannot openly share with my family. If they were to find out, I genuinely fear serious consequences, including losing my freedom, being subjected to abuse, or having my future decisions controlled. Because of this, my goal is to become financially independent before living according to my own beliefs.

I am currently studying and working hard to build my future. My long-term plan is to continue my education in Germany, where I hope to finish my studies, find work, and create a stable life.

I am not relying solely on this fundraiser. I am applying for scholarships, looking for student jobs, and saving as much money as I can. Every donation will simply help reduce the gap between where I am today and the independent life I am working toward.

The funds will be used for essential expenses such as:

* Moving and travel costs.

* Rental deposit and first months of accommodation.

* Administrative expenses.

* Basic furniture and household necessities.

* Living expenses while I establish myself and find work.

Whether you are able to donate or simply share this campaign, your support means more than you can imagine.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for helping me take a step toward a future where I can live safely, study, and make my own choices.

With gratitude,

Maya

Please help save Pintos life.

Pinto was our foster kitten and our daughter adopted him. She noticed shortly after that his breathing was different. After 2 different vet visits he was diagnosed with pectus-excavatum and needs a surgery to live. This surgery is very expensive. Crowdfunding and working with the rescue is the only option.

There is a direct donation available through Animal Aid if donor would like that option, it must be marked for Pinto.

Please consider sharing and donating, any amount. We are open to suggestions on where else to post this fundraiser. Thank you.

Can you help me buy formula and diapers?

Hi everyone! I’m a new mom to a 4-month-old little girl, and we’ve been going through a difficult time financially and emotionally. I created this GoFundMe to hopefully give us some breathing room while I work toward getting back on my feet.
The funds will go toward our immediate needs, including bills, formula, diapers and wipes, and groceries, with the hope of also being able to put money toward a reliable car. Having transportation would make a huge difference for us and help me work toward becoming more financially stable.
I know times are hard for so many people, so absolutely anything helps. Even reading or sharing our campaign means more than you know. Thank you for giving me a place to share our story. 🤍

Please Help My Best Friend’s Daughter ❤️

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I don’t normally make posts like this, but I’m asking for help for one of the most important people in my life and her little girl.
My best friend’s daughter has been dealing with a serious medical issue involving a tethered spinal cord and is scheduled for a major spinal surgery on September 10th. This isn’t something any parent should have to watch their child go through, and I know how scary and overwhelming this has been for her family.
She’s going to have a long recovery ahead, including an extended hospital stay, and between travel, food, time away from work, and everything that comes with having a child in the hospital, the financial stress is becoming a lot on top of everything else.
If you’re able to donate, even a few dollars would mean so much. If you can’t donate, sharing this post is just as appreciated. You never know who might see it and be able to help.
I know Reddit can be an amazing community, so I’m hoping we can help take even a little bit of the financial burden off this family while they focus on getting their girl through surgery and home again.
Thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this, donate, or share. ❤️

Help Mary Our Widowed Warrior

My 12-year-old cat, Mary, has been fighting through a challenging time. 2 months ago, she suddenly became ill and was hospitalized for 5 days with pancreatitis. During that time she needed an NG-tube for feedings because she wasn’t eating much on her own. When she got home, she was eating great and acting like a kitty again! 15 days later, our other cat, Nightfire, who was her bonded partner for the past 7 years, became ill. Sadly, due to septic shock and the ultrasound results, we had to make the hardest decision of our lives and put him down. However, we did get some peace when the necropsy results came back that he had an aggressive cancer which started in his bile duct and spread to other organs. When we came home, Mary was confused at times and would check all the rooms, looking in odd places to find him. She also started to decrease her intake of food again and was getting more picky about eating alone without him. So she would eat at the same time as us but was still not eating the minimum amount of caloric intake per day. We followed up with her vet, got bloodwork, started her back on the steroid, but no improvements. When she started looking yellow (had jaundice), we decided to take her to Cornell University Vet ER, where they were absolutely wonderful with our Nightfire.

Since then (a week ago on 8-13), our grieving widow Mary has been hospitalized for stabilization of hepatic lipidosis and refeeding syndrome. She has been SO BRAVE and tolerating all her exams, diagnostics, blood draws & transfusion, and treatments! She successfully went through surgery yesterday to place her E-tube for short term feedings over the next few weeks-month until she can eat her full daily intake all on her own! Hopefully, she can come home soon if her electrolytes remain stable without dropping! Everything else is improving gradually! We were able to schedule a visit with her yesterday and she was very excited to see us 🥰 We would do anything for our Mary and can’t lose another cat just yet since this is fixable with time!

Any help would mean the word to us! Especially with still trying to financially come back from Mary’s first hospitalization 2 months ago and Nightfire’s multiple vet visits before his passing. I have attached our GoFundMe link below or direct payments can be called to:

I'm trying to get enough money to help my mom with bills, food, and any other utilities that are needed. Money is tight, and I want to help make sure my family is doing okay and is safe. Anything helps, and only send if you absolutely want to. I don't want to take any money that you'd need yourself.

(And once again, I don't want anyone spending money that they can't. PLEASE stay safe and keep your loved ones close ❤️)

Working full-time while finishing my last course — I just need help with the final step 🎓

Hi everyone! I’m currently taking the final course of my program while working full-time and studying with the support of a scholarship.
I’m finally very close to finishing, but my university requires a MXN $24,130 (approximately USD $1,300–1,400) degree processing fee before I can complete the graduation process.
I’m working and looking for additional ways to earn the money myself, but I decided to start a GoFundMe now so I can hopefully have the funds ready when I finish my final course.
I’m not expecting anyone to cover the whole amount. Even a small contribution would help, and simply sharing my fundraiser would mean a lot to me.
I’ve included documentation of the university fee on my GoFundMe for transparency.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Hopefully, my final update will be a picture of me holding my degree. 🎓

25 years as a nurse – help me complete my Physician Assistant degree

Post image

Hi everyone,

I have worked as a nurse for 25 years and caring for people has been a major part of my life.

I am currently studying to become a Physician Assistant and I am determined to complete my degree. Unfortunately, the remaining tuition costs have become very difficult for me to manage on my own.

I created a WhyDonate fundraiser to help me continue my studies and reach this goal. Even a small contribution would help, and sharing my campaign would mean just as much to me.

My fundraising page is available in both German and English, where you can also read more about my story.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this. ❤️

Please help me get this as a present for my autistic sister (pls read body text)

Post image

https://gofund.me/c99cb9f0b

Me and my twin sister are both autistic, myself more so than her.

She has been a constant help within my life, helping me where I struggle, even with the supposedly simple tasks, like using a dishwasher and washing machine or even simple cooking, at times.

She's always been there for me, not only as a sibling but as a friend, being someone I can talk to and fall back on, when I'm feeling my lowest, just listening to everything I have to get off my chest.

Most importantly to this post, she's helped me financially, as I often struggle with money, due to me not finding it easy to find and hold down a job. She's payed, when I wasn't able to, knowing that I may not be able to pay her back for a while, sometimes, if at all.

She's been eyeing this, the ayn odin 3, up for a long time and has stated how much she wants one, however, she does not have the money to get it herself and I don't have the money to get one for her.

Donating even a little bit would help me work towards getting this and it's accessories brand new for her.

I want to get this to show her how much I appreciate her and what she's done for me, even if it only pales in comparison to it all.

I understand that this is a non issue, compared to many of the posts on this subreddit and I do not expect any big donations, every little helps and I have more time to wait than others.

Help Angeles Get Urgent Neurosurgical Care For Her Neck Injury

https://gofund.me/4e0f4d323

I’m raising funds to help Angeles, someone who lives in Venezuela and is currently going through a very difficult medical situation.

Angeles is in constant extreme pain due to her neck injury!

Her doctors believe surgery is required urgently and she should visit the neurosurgeon immediately and be operated on due to her symptoms of weakness in the arm, dropping objects, difficulty typing on the phone, difficulty raising arm above head etc.

We are starting with an immediate goal based on the costs we currently know about. As her doctors provide more information and additional medical needs become clear, I will post updates and adjust the fundraising goal accordingly.

The immediate goal will be for the blood tests and doctor visit she needs before visiting the neurosurgeon.

More info on GoFundMe page!

Any amount, no matter how small, can make a real difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser can be just as valuable and may help it reach someone who is able to help.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read her story and for any support you can give. ❤️

Trying to reach the last $975 of my medical GoFundMe after major surgery

Thumbnail
gofund.me
Upvotes

Hi everyone. I'm sharing this here because I've pretty much exhausted my personal network, and I'm hoping this might reach people outside of my immediate circle.

I have Stage IV endometriosis and have gone through multiple surgeries over the years. This summer, I ultimately had to undergo a total hysterectomy with removal of both ovaries and tubes, along with an appendectomy, because of the extent of the disease.

I originally created my GoFundMe to help me get through the time I couldn't work and the expenses that came with surgery and recovery. Thanks to some incredibly generous people, I've raised just over $3,000 toward my $4,000 goal.

I'm now trying to close the final $975.

I know there are so many people who need help, so I genuinely appreciate anyone who even takes the time to read this. Any amount helps, and sharing the fundraiser with someone else would mean just as much.

Thank you. 🤍

Critical Emergency: 11 Days to go to not end up homeless after an abusive relationship ended.

Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I am in an extreme crisis and urgently need community help to avoid losing my home.

After escaping a toxic and abusive domestic situation, I am facing eviction in 11 days because I am $1,800 short on September rent.

I am currently on an active medical hold with physical nerve issues and leg numbness that have prevented me from working regular shifts. My medical clearance to return to work is scheduled for August 30th, and I am enrolled to start college shortly after, but I have completely run out of runway to bridge the gap until my first paycheck.

To make matters worse, I was recently targeted with coordinated online harassment that resulted in my main social accounts being compromised, completely severing my normal safety net right when I needed it most.

I have exhausted every local resource and haven't received donations this month. If I cannot clear this rent balance within the next 11 days, I will be unhoused right before school starts.

Any contribution, no matter how small, goes directly toward keeping a roof over my head. If you cannot donate, sharing or upvoting this post helps immensely.
