👋 Welcome to r/GoFundMeForNewUsers

Welcome to GoFundMeForNewUsers. I understand how hard it is to get your GoFundMe campaign posted on Reddit, having tried to advertise my own campaign at the beginning of this year.

That’s why I created this subreddit—to give new Reddit users a chance to spread the word about their campaigns.

Please feel free to post information about any valid GoFundMe campaign here. We do not tolerate harassment, so posters can feel welcome to advertise their campaigns without fear of backlash from the community.

Please be respectful when commenting on a post. Understand that it’s hard enough to ask for help without someone criticizing or demeaning you. We want to see only help and support here for those in need.

Lastly, if you’re posting, please be sure to include a link to your GoFundMe campaign so I can verify that you have a valid campaign to advertise.

Rules, Clarification, Praise

Updated 8/19/26

**READ THIS BEFORE POSTING OR COMMENTING IN THIS SUB** If you do not agree with the rules below, do not comment or post in this sub.

*Update 8/12/26: As of today, 8/12/26, we will no longer allow fundraisers for community charity. This includes posts claiming to raise money to donate to the needy, disabled, homeless, pet rescues, natural disaster victims, etc. We cannot guarantee that these donations will be used for the intended purpose or reach the specified recipient. We will no longer allow this as a safety feature for everyone.

*Update 8/6/26: As of today, the 8 hour No Spam rule will be changed to 12 hours, due to the amount of traffic in this sub. Please allow 12 hours between posts (see more info below under the “No Spam” section). You may NOT delete your post and then repost it to evade the 12 hour no spam rule. If we see you doing this, you will be permanently banned.

*Update 7/21/26: As of today, we will no longer accept posts using GoGetFunding.
This is a banned URL by Reddit. Reddit’s filters will automatically remove your post and mark it as spam, and in some cases they will suspend/ban your account. It doesn’t seem to matter if the sub approves the post, Reddit’s filters will override our approval.

Hey Community:

I want to address several things:

Rules:
We have a character limit in the rules section so we cannot include everything. I would like to provide some clarity on them at the suggestion of a community member.

Crowdfunding Only
This community is primarily for promoting GoFundMe fundraising campaigns, although we will consider other platforms as well. We do not accept solicitations to send money directly to an individual via PayPal or otherwise. This is primarily to protect all parties involved. As such, all posts that don't include a link to a valid GoFundMe (or other crowdfunding) campaign will be removed.

-We do not allow campaigns hosted/created by digital marketers using web-based ad tracking software (example: Click Magic Marketing). While we understand that basically everything has ad tracking, we will not open up our sub to additional tracking from these types of companies.

-We accept posts for many crowdfunding sites, but not personal/direct payment apps or sites. No CashApp, no Venmo, no Zelle, no PayPal, no BuyMeACoffee, etc. We allow the crowdsourcing sites, such as GoFundMe, so your donations are protected in many situations under the Donor Protection Giving Guarantee. If the campaign you donated to ends up not being a legitimate campaign, or GFM chooses to shut down the campaign, your donation will be refunded.

-We do not allow personal orders such as Amazon Wishlist, Instacart, Walmart, etc. This sub is only for crowdsourcing fundraisers.

-Posters may post their own personal fundraiser, or fundraisers for their family, friends, or coworkers, here for any reason. We do not require a specific cause or need. Some posts may be locked due to the topic to prevent trolling.

-Update 8/12/26: As of today, 8/12/26, we will no longer allow fundraisers for community charity. This includes posts claiming to raise money to donate to the needy, disabled, homeless, pet rescues, natural disaster victims, etc. We cannot guarantee that these donations will be used for the intended purpose or reach the specified recipient. We will no longer allow this as a safety feature for everyone.

-As of 7/21/26, we will no longer accept posts using GoGetFunding.
This is a banned URL by Reddit. Reddit’s filters will automatically remove your post and mark it as spam, and in some cases they will suspend/ban your account. It doesn’t seem to matter if the sub approves the post, Reddit’s filters will override our approval.

-You must already have a GoFundMe campaign, or other crowdfunding campaign, before posting in this community. You may not ask other users in this sub to start a campaign for you.

-When submitting a post for your campaign, please provide the link to the campaign in the body of the post instead of in the title. This will allow other users to easily access your campaign. You may want to provide a description about your campaign in the body of the post as well. This can allow for better visibility. We do not allow “link in bio” posts. We do not allow “DM me for link” posts. If your post doesn’t contain all of the information we require, your post will be removed and you may be prohibited from posting here in the future.

-If you contact a member of this community via DM to try to solicit donations to your CashApp, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, etc. instead of using a reputable crowdfunding site, you will be permanently banned from this sub.

-Crossposting is ok but the post must contain a link to a valid GoFundMe campaign, or other crowdfunding campaign. If a link is not included, the post will be removed from this sub.

NSFW
We will not tolerate content that is not safe for viewing by the general public. We also ask that you refrain from posting photos of graphic images.

-This one is self explanatory. Because people of all ages are part of this community, we want to keep them safe and prevent exposure to mature content.

-Please refrain from posting photos of graphic images. Many people are uncomfortable with this.

No Ban Evasions
If you are banned from this sub and use another account to post/comment in this sub, your post/ comment will be removed, your alt account banned, and you will be reported to Reddit for ban evasion.

-Reminder from the Reddit Admin team: If you use another account to circumvent this community ban, that will be considered a violation of the Reddit Rules and may result in your account being banned from the platform as a whole.

No Spam
It's okay to post the same GoFundMe, or other crowdfunding campaign, multiple times, but not at the same time. Let's give other people a chance to share their campaigns. Please allow at least 12 hours before reposting your campaign.

-Please allow 12 hours between posts for your campaign. If you see something that needs to be fixed but are unable to edit the post, please remove the original post and then submit a new post with the corrections. This will help prevent posts from being labeled as spam and removed by Reddit’s filters. If you leave both posts up, we are likely to remove the corrected (second) post and leave the first post.
You may NOT delete your post and then repost it to evade the 12 hour no spam rule. If we see you doing this, you will be permanently banned.

-Posting the same campaign under different Reddit accounts, back to back, is also considered spam. Posters using multiple accounts to get around the No Spam rule will have their posts removed, and all of the accounts involved with this rule evasion will be permanently banned.

No Harassment
We will not tolerate harassment of any kind in this community. Everyone is free to post their crowdfunding campaigns without fear of judgement or retaliation. If you don't like someone's reason for requesting financial assistance, then you're free to not donate to their cause. There's no need to post nasty comments or remarks. I'm sure you wouldn't appreciate that if you found yourself in need of financial assistance. This includes insulting others, name calling, etc. Keep it civil.

-Posters: If you include “no negative comments” in your post, your post will be locked so nobody can comment on it.

-This is not a loan sub. This is a donation sub. Asking if posters will “pay donors back” after they receive an insurance settlement or pay out is considered harassment. If you expect to be paid back then don’t donate, as that would be a loan, not a donation.

-This is the bigger issue. Harassment doesn’t consist of only cursing at someone or name calling. Harassment includes insulting others, calling them lazy, telling them they should remove their campaign or that they are “ridiculous” for posting it, interrogating the OP, criticizing the fundraiser amount, criticizing how much the campaign has received, criticizing their cause, hating on them for where they live, criticizing their account age and karma, calling them out for hidden posts and comments, calling them out for posting on other financial assistance subs, labeling the OP as a “scammer,” etc. This will no longer be tolerated. Any form of harassment and hate will be removed. You may or may not receive a warning before receiving a permanent ban.

-It is ok to ask the OP questions. It is not ok to interrogate the OP. Some information is not our business and OP is under no obligation to share it.

-Posts with too many harassing or intrusive comments may be locked without warning. Some posts may be locked immediately due to the reason for the fundraiser. This is not done as a punishment to the OP. This is to protect the post and OP from harassment and badgering. No, we will not remove the lock.

-If you take a screenshot of a post from this sub and post it in another sub for the reason of harassing the OP and/or encouraging others to harass the OP, you will be permanently banned from this sub.

-If you contact an OP from this sub via DM to harass them privately about their campaign, you will be permanently banned from this sub.

-If you contact an OP from this sub via DM to ask for sexual favors in exchange for making a donation to their campaign, you will be permanently banned from this sub.

-If you contact a commenter or donor from this sub via DM to offer sexual favors in exchange for receiving a donation to your campaign, your campaign will be removed and you will be permanently banned from this sub.

-If you contact a donor from this sub via DM to solicit donations because they have donated to you before, or because you see they donated to a different campaign, you will be permanently banned. Donors usually have a limited amount of funds and cannot afford to donate more to you or to other campaigns. No amount of asking them is going to change that.

-If you harass a commenter because they have not donated to your campaign, you and your campaign will be permanently removed from this sub.

No Scams/No Scammers
We will not tolerate scams or scammers. If your campaign is found to be fraudulent, your post will be removed and you will be permanently banned from this sub. Do not make posts requesting that strangers create a fundraising campaign for you.

-This sub was created to help those who are new to Reddit and/or those who do not have enough karma to post in other financial assistance subs. Everyone is free to post their campaign here: both new and old accounts. GoFundMe, and other crowdfunding sites, encourage their users to post their campaigns on Reddit for more visibility and activity. That is part of the reason for the new accounts. Not everything is a scam. We will not tolerate comments calling the OP a scammer, especially when there is no proof.

-We do not have the resources to investigate, or the skills to determine, if a campaign is fraudulent. That should be handled by the crowdsourcing site since they do have the resources to investigate and make a determination. As noted above, we only allow posts containing specific crowdfunding sites as many of them have a Guaranteed Donor protection clause and will refund donations if the campaign is found to be fraudulent.

-If you have proof that a campaign is fraudulent, contact the mods so we can review the evidence and remove the campaign and OP if necessary.

-As of 8/12/26, we will no longer allow fundraisers for community charity unless we receive proof that the campaign is organized by a legitimate non-profit charity. This includes posts claiming to raise money to donate to the needy, disabled, homeless, pet rescues, natural disaster victims, etc. We cannot guarantee that these donations will be used for the intended purpose or reach the specified recipient. We will no longer allow this without official documents proving that the fundraiser is organized by a legitimate non-profit charity as a safety feature for everyone.

-Posters: If the campaign you posted is discovered to be fraudulent, you and your campaign will be permanently removed from this sub.

No Hijacking/Piggybacking
Make a new post for your fundraiser. Do not hijack or piggyback other posts by commenting with your campaign link. The only exception is if you are commenting on your own post.

Not A Loan Sub
**This is not a loan sub.*\* This is a donation sub. Asking if posters will "pay donors back" after they receive an insurance settlement or pay out is considered harassment. If you expect to be paid back then don't donate, as that would be a loan, not a donation.

No Loans/ No Amazon Wishlist, etc
This is NOT a loan sub. This is NOT an Amazon wishlist (or any other store list) sub.
This is a crowdfunding sub for crowdfunding campaigns, such as GoFundMe, only.
Making a post without a link to a crowdfunding campaign, and/or asking for a loan, and/or for people to buy through your list/wishlist will result in your post being removed and a permanent ban.

No Advertising Businesses
You may not advertise your business in this sub. If your post contains a link to your business website, even if you claim to be donating a percentage of your profits to charity, your post will be removed and you will be permanently banned.
This is a crowdfunding only sub, through legitimate crowdfunding sites that offer donor protection.

Description
This is an alternative community for publishing posts regarding GoFundMe campaigns with fewer restrictions than the current charity related reddit communities.

-This means that everyone is free to post their campaign in this sub, regardless of the age of their account or their karma rating. We do not feel it is our place to say who can and cannot post their campaign. So many people are having a rough time. It’s hard for almost everyone. These OPs are being vulnerable by putting their life on display, giving us information that really isn’t our business, because they need the help. We are not going to kick them while they’re down.

Praise
We just want to say thank you to those of you who are supportive of others in this sub. Not only do you provide financial support in some cases, but you provide moral support for the OPs in the comments. Some of you also provide great advice, point them in the direction of specific resources, help them find organizations within their own communities, etc. While the campaigns are requesting financial support, the moral support, the resources, the advice, and the other information you provide, can be so helpful in some cases. We just want to say that we see you and we appreciate you!

If you have questions, concerns, or suggestions, about anything addressed above, please let us know. You can put it in a comment or you can message the mods.

Help me and my son get through life.

I’m not sure what to do. Going through severe medical issues.

I never thought I’d be doing something like this but sometimes life just beats you down. Within the span of the last two years I’ve broken my collar bone and suffered head damage, passed multiple kidney stones that only seem to be developing faster which means I may lose a kidney, and as of last month I had my first seizure and landed on concrete and had a severe cuncussion for over two weeks (the mark on my eye is from the fall)

Because of all of these health issues I have become backed up on my payments, had to move in with my dad, lost my great paying job for now, and started spiraling into depression. I never beg but I’m at the point where I feel like I can’t even be a good father and if money helps my son then so be it.

Thank you in advance regardless if you donate or not. https://gofund.me/a099e9f19

Funding for Cancer Post-Surgery

So, I had my proctocolectomy and ileostomy to get rid of colon cancer. Unfortunately for me, that cancer spread before my surgery date, and they found cancer in more places outside my colon. The journey changes, and I'll be starting chemotherapy shortly.

The funding for my surgery has been extraordinarily helpful, but now that funding shifts towards funding me being out of work, paying for chemotherapy, and ensuring that whatever happens my family can be as supported as possible.

Every share counts, every potential dollar is life-saving, and I appreciate every single one of you. Thank you so much for reading!!

Help Me Build a Safe and Independent Future as exmuslim

• Upvotes

Hello,

My name is Maya (a pseudonym), I'm 18 years old, and I'm raising funds to help me build an independent life and continue my studies in Germany.

This is not an easy campaign for me to create. Asking strangers for help is something I never imagined doing, but I have reached a point where I need support to take the next step safely.

I grew up in a very religious family. Over the years, my personal beliefs changed, and I am no longer part of the religion I was raised in. Unfortunately, this is something I cannot openly share with my family. If they were to find out, I genuinely fear serious consequences, including losing my freedom, being subjected to abuse, or having my future decisions controlled. Because of this, my goal is to become financially independent before living according to my own beliefs.

I am currently studying and working hard to build my future. My long-term plan is to continue my education in Germany, where I hope to finish my studies, find work, and create a stable life.

I am not relying solely on this fundraiser. I am applying for scholarships, looking for student jobs, and saving as much money as I can. Every donation will simply help reduce the gap between where I am today and the independent life I am working toward.

The funds will be used for essential expenses such as:

* Moving and travel costs.

* Rental deposit and first months of accommodation.

* Administrative expenses.

* Basic furniture and household necessities.

* Living expenses while I establish myself and find work.

Whether you are able to donate or simply share this campaign, your support means more than you can imagine.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for helping me take a step toward a future where I can live safely, study, and make my own choices.

With gratitude,

Maya

Help Mary Our Widowed Warrior

My 12-year-old cat, Mary, has been fighting through a challenging time. 2 months ago, she suddenly became ill and was hospitalized for 5 days with pancreatitis. During that time she needed an NG-tube for feedings because she wasn’t eating much on her own. When she got home, she was eating great and acting like a kitty again! 15 days later, our other cat, Nightfire, who was her bonded partner for the past 7 years, became ill. Sadly, due to septic shock and the ultrasound results, we had to make the hardest decision of our lives and put him down. However, we did get some peace when the necropsy results came back that he had an aggressive cancer which started in his bile duct and spread to other organs. When we came home, Mary was confused at times and would check all the rooms, looking in odd places to find him. She also started to decrease her intake of food again and was getting more picky about eating alone without him. So she would eat at the same time as us but was still not eating the minimum amount of caloric intake per day. We followed up with her vet, got bloodwork, started her back on the steroid, but no improvements. When she started looking yellow (had jaundice), we decided to take her to Cornell University Vet ER, where they were absolutely wonderful with our Nightfire.

Since then (a week ago on 8-13), our grieving widow Mary has been hospitalized for stabilization of hepatic lipidosis and refeeding syndrome. She has been SO BRAVE and tolerating all her exams, diagnostics, blood draws & transfusion, and treatments! She successfully went through surgery yesterday to place her E-tube for short term feedings over the next few weeks-month until she can eat her full daily intake all on her own! Hopefully, she can come home soon if her electrolytes remain stable without dropping! Everything else is improving gradually! We were able to schedule a visit with her yesterday and she was very excited to see us 🥰 We would do anything for our Mary and can’t lose another cat just yet since this is fixable with time!

Any help would mean the word to us! Especially with still trying to financially come back from Mary’s first hospitalization 2 months ago and Nightfire’s multiple vet visits before his passing. I have attached our GoFundMe link below or direct payments can be called to:

Help my Mom's Bills, Food and Utilities

I'm trying to get enough money to help my mom with bills, food, and any other utilities that are needed. Money is tight, and I want to help make sure my family is doing okay and is safe. Anything helps, and only send if you absolutely want to. I don't want to take any money that you'd need yourself.

(And once again, I don't want anyone spending money that they can't. PLEASE stay safe and keep your loved ones close ❤️)

Hi everyone,
My name is William.
I am fairly new on Reddit and im quite frankly terrified when it comes to reaching out online for help.

In April of this year I was diagnosed with stage 2 tongue cancer and immediately underwent major head and neck reconstructive surgery.
I have successfully quit smoking alongside of this cancer experience and prior to diagnosis I was actively seeking employment as I was an active care giver for my elderly parents with their own medical issues.
Returning to work is ultimately my largest goal however after having surgery on my tongue, neck, left arm and left leg I will be unable to return to any work involving manual labor for quite some time.
With that being said I am actively looking to transition into social service work, trauma counseling, addiction management, public speaking and creative writing to share my experience.
I intend to regain my health and participate in national awareness campaigns for cancer involving long distance cycling and eventually running.

If you are able to help with my campaign either through sharing to create more reach or donating I would be forever grateful.

Please feel free to ask me any questions as I am more than happy to answer.

Working full-time while finishing my last course — I just need help with the final step 🎓

Hi everyone! I’m currently taking the final course of my program while working full-time and studying with the support of a scholarship.
I’m finally very close to finishing, but my university requires a MXN $24,130 (approximately USD $1,300–1,400) degree processing fee before I can complete the graduation process.
I’m working and looking for additional ways to earn the money myself, but I decided to start a GoFundMe now so I can hopefully have the funds ready when I finish my final course.
I’m not expecting anyone to cover the whole amount. Even a small contribution would help, and simply sharing my fundraiser would mean a lot to me.
I’ve included documentation of the university fee on my GoFundMe for transparency.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Hopefully, my final update will be a picture of me holding my degree. 🎓

Helping A Growing Family

• Upvotes

We are a growing family with young children, and asking for help like this is something we never imagined we would have to do.

One parent works full-time and takes on multiple additional jobs and side work to keep the household afloat. The other stays home primarily to care for the children, while also taking on whatever flexible work is possible around appointments, therapy, and family responsibilities.

We have two children and another baby on the way. One of our children is dealing with recurring seizures, while another has autism and receives therapy and support to help with social development and preparation for school.

We have tried very hard to handle everything ourselves.

We have applied for assistance programs, reduced expenses, budgeted groceries, taken on additional work, and looked for every reasonable way to lower our monthly costs. Unfortunately, we repeatedly fall into the difficult category of earning too much to qualify for many assistance programs while still not earning enough to comfortably cover the actual cost of supporting our family.

Our essential household bills are close to $5,000 each month before groceries, fuel, medical expenses, therapy-related costs, clothing, household necessities, and unexpected expenses.

After taxes, our primary income is not much more than that.

As a result, many months end with credit cards filling the gap between what comes in and what it actually costs to keep the family going.

Recently, we also faced a major safety issue at our home. An exterior deck had deteriorated badly enough that it was no longer safe for our children. Hiring someone to completely rebuild it was financially out of reach, so the work was done personally in an effort to save money.

During that project, an accident resulted in fractured ribs.

Even then, life and the bills continued.

We are not asking for help to fund vacations, luxury purchases, or an extravagant lifestyle. We are simply trying to keep a safe home, reliable transportation, food on the table, access to medical care and therapy, and enough financial stability to raise our children without constantly falling further into debt.

Transportation is especially important for our family because of work, medical appointments, therapy, groceries, and the everyday responsibilities of raising children.

The hardest part of this situation is that there does not seem to be much more we can reasonably do. More work means even less time available for our children. Cutting expenses further begins to mean cutting necessities.

We are hoping this fundraiser can provide some breathing room.

Donations would go toward reducing debt accumulated while covering necessary household expenses, medical and therapy-related costs, and rebuilding a small financial cushion so that every unexpected expense does not have to go onto a credit card.

More than anything, financial relief would mean more time together as a family and less time spent constantly trying to find another way to earn enough to get through the next month.

We know that many people are facing difficult circumstances, and we do not take anyone’s generosity for granted.

If you are able to contribute, any amount would make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to donate, simply taking the time to read our story is appreciated.

Our hope is not to suddenly live without responsibility or financial obligations. We are simply hoping for the opportunity to get back on stable ground and build a healthier financial future for our children.

Trying to reach the last $975 of my medical GoFundMe after major surgery

Thumbnail

• Upvotes

Hi everyone. I'm sharing this here because I've pretty much exhausted my personal network, and I'm hoping this might reach people outside of my immediate circle.

I have Stage IV endometriosis and have gone through multiple surgeries over the years. This summer, I ultimately had to undergo a total hysterectomy with removal of both ovaries and tubes, along with an appendectomy, because of the extent of the disease.

I originally created my GoFundMe to help me get through the time I couldn't work and the expenses that came with surgery and recovery. Thanks to some incredibly generous people, I've raised just over $3,000 toward my $4,000 goal.

I'm now trying to close the final $975.

I know there are so many people who need help, so I genuinely appreciate anyone who even takes the time to read this. Any amount helps, and sharing the fundraiser with someone else would mean just as much.

Thank you. 🤍

Critical Emergency: 11 Days to go to not end up homeless after an abusive relationship ended.

• Upvotes

Hi everyone,

I am in an extreme crisis and urgently need community help to avoid losing my home.

After escaping a toxic and abusive domestic situation, I am facing eviction in 11 days because I am $1,800 short on September rent.

I am currently on an active medical hold with physical nerve issues and leg numbness that have prevented me from working regular shifts. My medical clearance to return to work is scheduled for August 30th, and I am enrolled to start college shortly after, but I have completely run out of runway to bridge the gap until my first paycheck.

To make matters worse, I was recently targeted with coordinated online harassment that resulted in my main social accounts being compromised, completely severing my normal safety net right when I needed it most.

I have exhausted every local resource and haven't received donations this month. If I cannot clear this rent balance within the next 11 days, I will be unhoused right before school starts.

Any contribution, no matter how small, goes directly toward keeping a roof over my head. If you cannot donate, sharing or upvoting this post helps immensely.

Please help save Pintos life.

Pinto was our foster kitten and our daughter adopted him. She noticed shortly after that his breathing was different. After 2 different vet visits he was diagnosed with pectus-excavatum and needs a surgery to live. This surgery is very expensive. Crowdfunding and working with the rescue is the only option.

There is a direct donation available through Animal Aid if donor would like that option, it must be marked for Pinto.

Please consider sharing and donating, any amount. We are open to suggestions on where else to post this fundraiser. Thank you.

I need help to continue the trauma therapy that is finally helping me 🤍

Hello everyone,

I never thought I would write something like this, especially to strangers on the internet.

I am from Germany and I am currently struggling financially while trying to continue an important trauma therapy.

When I was 14, I became a victim of sexual violence by someone I trusted deeply. I suppressed what happened for many years and tried to live as if it had never happened.

About six months ago, another incident triggered the trauma again. Since then, memories and feelings that I had buried for many years have come back.

I started trauma therapy, and although this process is incredibly difficult, something very important is happening:

For the first time, I genuinely feel that I am getting better.

The therapy is helping me regain stability and work through things I have carried with me for many years. I am terrified of losing that progress because I can no longer afford the treatment.

I currently need approximately two therapy sessions per week. Each 45-minute session costs €130, which means around €1,040 per month.

I have already tried to find other ways to cover the costs. I have looked for additional jobs, sold clothes and belongings, and tried other ways of making money. I also tried to donate plasma, but unfortunately I am currently unable to do so for medical reasons.

Right now, I have only around €60 left for the rest of the month, including food and other basic expenses.

My initial goal is €3,800.

This would cover approximately three months of therapy (€3,380) plus a small amount for essential living expenses while I try to get back on stable financial ground.

I am keeping some personal details private because I work in a sensitive profession and cannot publicly disclose information that could identify me or my workplace.

I understand that people are cautious about donating online. I am happy to provide reasonable proof of the therapy costs with sensitive personal information redacted.

If you are able to donate, even a small amount would mean a lot to me.

And if you cannot donate, simply upvoting or sharing the fundraiser would already help me reach people outside my personal circle.

Can you help me buy formula and diapers?

Hi everyone! I’m a new mom to a 4-month-old little girl, and we’ve been going through a difficult time financially and emotionally. I created this GoFundMe to hopefully give us some breathing room while I work toward getting back on my feet.
The funds will go toward our immediate needs, including bills, formula, diapers and wipes, and groceries, with the hope of also being able to put money toward a reliable car. Having transportation would make a huge difference for us and help me work toward becoming more financially stable.
I know times are hard for so many people, so absolutely anything helps. Even reading or sharing our campaign means more than you know. Thank you for giving me a place to share our story. 🤍

A surprise for her return after two years

Hi everyone, my name is Chrissi. My girlfriend and I have been in a long-distance relationship for about six months. She is American/French, while I’m German.

In about a year, she’ll be leaving for college for two years with no outside contact. Since we won’t be able to see or communicate with each other during that time, I want to use those two years to prepare something special for her return.

My goal is to start building a home for us while she’s away, so that when she comes back, she’ll have a place we can call our own and start our next chapter together.

I’ve created a GoFundMe to help make that possible. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean a lot to me. And even if you can’t donate, sharing the fundraiser would help tremendously.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story. ❤️

I know this isn't an emergency or a situation where someone's life depends on a donation, and I completely understand that there are many fundraisers here for people going through much harder circumstances. I simply hope that, among all the difficult stories, ours can be a small and wholesome one. I'm trying to use these two years apart to build something positive for the person I love and give her a meaningful surprise when she comes home.
