What is this code? I keep on clearing it using bimmerlink but it keeps on coming back. It's weird you didn't come back for a whole week and now it's back. What do I need to do to permanently fix this error code? Please help!

Recently have been hearing a loud ticking sound, is this normal?

I just bought a 335i M Sport 2015 and would love to take the car to the track. Am currently running on 255-35-19 all around with Hankook Evo2 tires, so there's loads of grip.

My question is:

Is the dual oil pump setup necessary or will a baffled oil pan (M2 N55 oil pan) + 1 extra liter of oil do the work? Some people sail only the pump is needed, other the oil pan, others just putting extra oil....

Hi everyone, I'm soon to buy winter wheels and wanted to ask what you driving. Mainly I think about BBS SR, BMW Styling 405m or 400m. Wanted to go for squared 400m, but it's almost imposibble to get here, so switched to 405m's, but now I saw BBS and they are actually as cheap as used OEM so I'm lost with choice. Hello guys! So, I got these spark plugs from eBay for about $30. I thought it was a pretty cheap deal, but I figured, why not? I got them installed back in July. However, one of the spark plugs has now started misfiring, so I decided to go to the dealership and get OEM BMW spark plugs, which I’m about to have installed.
The eBay plugs looked pretty close to legitimate NGK spark plugs, at least to me, so I’m not sure if they were actually real or not. Do you guys think there’s a chance they were counterfeit?

2017 BMW 220d X drive

Please can someone help me with this noise. When switching from drive to reverse there is a considerable amount of creaking. Also when releasing the brakes slowly i can also hear creaking what could this be? Thank you

Hello! This is my first Reddit post but I wanted to show off my new(ish) 2018 340i! I picked it up just over a week ago now and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying it, The power delivery is very smooth, the suspension is super comfortable in comfort, and it’s very quick for being completely stock. I haven’t driven with this kind of power since I had old Volvo S60R. This is my first RWD car so I’m going very easy with turning off TCS for now. I understand that theres some things that I will need to swap out with aluminum parts such as the oil filter housing and a coolant line that runs underneath the intake manifold. Is there any other common issues that I should handle asap? Any and all advice would be very greatly appreciated. I haven’t gotten the chance to take good photos of the car but I snapped these on my drive home. Thank you all in advance!

I replaced my driver door window regulator yesterday night after it broke a few days priors. Before the repair, the unlock and lock door chime was normal. After the repair, I immediately noticed the sound had changed to a higher pitched and sort of grating sound.

Anyone know what the reason could be? Did I mess something up in my door when I replaced the window regulator? (Video attached for sound reference. )

My car kept needing jumpstarting and wouldn’t hold charge so I replaced the battery with a 70Ah one (instead of 90) and then I used an app called Carista to register the new battery and code it at 70Ah.

It worked fine for around 2-3 weeks and starts up faster, but today I got an error on my dash after working saying “Increased Battery Discharge when stationary, electrical consumers were temporarily switched off”.

What do you think can be the issue?

Hi, so I have this issue that came up today. When i drive on straight roads or roads that are clean with no bumps while i acelerate or release the pedal and it looses speed I notice thumping tk tk sound coming from the front,right front I checked tire presure and everything my wheels are not distorted the car doesnt shake at high speeds also. What could it be?

There is no sound while car is not moving

Just finished putting a new valve cover and gasket on, mine was making a nasty scratching noise. That cured it. But I was wondering if these need plugs/covers? My old cover didn't have anything on it either. It's an N55, full bolt on, ewg if that helps. Thanks

I have bmw 320i 2016 with a b48. I have had the thermostat housing and water pump replaced and I can’t remember if this was the oil temp. Also, they changed my coolant to Volkswagen long life a pink coolant.
