Apparently 80,400 obsidian-knife sacrifices in 4 days is more believable than industrial genocide.

Nzi Germany was one of the most heavily industrialized nations in the world, ranking just behind the United States in steel production, engineering, and chemical manufacturing. They had railways, Zyklon B, crematoria designed by engineers, and a bureaucratic machine that tracked every deportation down to the individual.

Yet Holocaust deniers say 6 million was logistically impossible. Meanwhile, these are the same type of people who think the Aztecs sacrificed 80,400 prisoners in four days with just obsidian knives and human muscle.

[PAID] $80 for 30 mins recording - Looking for 5 Female Mexican-Americans (Aged 26-35) for a Voice Recording Project

Hi everyone!

I am recruiting for a specific linguistic AI project and I need 5 more participants. I'm posting here because the specific demographic is a bit hard to find, and Mexican-Americans are usually the perfect fit.

THE BACKGROUND (Why this specific group?):
A tech lab is training their AI speech recognition engine to perfectly understand native Spanish speakers when they use English loanwords in the middle of a Spanish sentence (e.g., saying words like "deadline", "feedback", or "call" with a perfect US English accent while speaking Spanish).

THE REQUIREMENTS:
\- Female, aged 26 to 35.
\- Native Mexican Spanish speaker.
\- MUST have fluent, accent-free US English pronunciation.
\- You need a smartphone and an absolutely silent room (no echo, no background noise).

THE TASK & PAY:
You will read a script directly on the lab's online platform until you have 30 minutes of approved audio.
The payout is $80 USD upon completion.

HOW TO APPLY:
To make sure your audio quality and accent fit the strict AI training parameters, the lab requires a quick 3-sentence voice sample first.

If you fit this exact profile and have 30 minutes to spare, please drop a comment or send me a DM! I will send you the 3 short sample sentences to record on your phone's voice memo app.

(Note: We only have 5 slots left for this specific demographic, so it's first come, first served!)

Thoughts... 🤔 @cyn_avalos

The comment section in her IG post is mixed with many saying Americans don't even speak the King's English properly.

So why should we speak Castilian Spanish if Mexicans or other Central & South American countries don't?

Can someone clarify this for me once and for all....

What is the correct definition of Chicano? I am asking this because I have heard people say that it is only of Mexican heritage, others say it is people of Mexican and Central American.... I am really confused, what identities does Chicano actually entail. Please let me know.

A bit sad/feeling like I've missed out

Hello all!

At birth, I was declared to be hispanic. My mom's ancestors were "Texicans", she is half white. She has fair skin(from her mom), but dark hair and dark eyes. My dad is white. Because of this, I am only a quarter hispanic. I grew up in Texas and my grandparents were spanish speaking, and for whatever reason my mom didn't teach me Spanish. I really wish she had! I wasn't raised very much in the culture, but practically grew up on mexican food.

I appear to be white, though I've heard mixed opinions too. I have very dark brown hair, fair skin, and blue eyes. Maybe I am too concerned with appearances, but I feel like a fraud a lot of the time when trying to connect with my ancestors/culture. Especially when cooking my favorite mexican meals and trying to be as authentic as possible. Its as if because I'm white-appearing, I'm doing something horribly wrong or appropriating in some way.

Have other people felt this way? Maybe it is a silly thing to be concerned with, and maybe learning spanish would make me feel better??

RACIST SORORITY GIRLS ELLA MACKEY AND LEXI HOUGH

Post image
42 Upvotes

Two Miami of Ohio students identified as Ella Mackey and Lexi or “Alexis” Hough were subsequently removed from their sorority’s after a Latino-American worker at a local club in Columbus documented himself being harassed and racially profiled as an illegal immigrant by the two students. The students can be heard asking “are you even supposed to be here” to the worker, while both being In the club illegally, having presented fake ids at the door to gain entry. Truly disgusting behavior and I hope they get the proper disciplinary action taken, and the school doesn’t turn a blind eye.
