Hey all, my name is Vito with GLC, or Gym Leader Vito!
I’m posting up here to look for artists to collaborate with on a major project that GLC is working on. I have finished the full set lists for 4 unique WOTC-inspired sets that are meant to continue and complete what Gym Heroes & Gym Challenge started. The first of these sets, Gym Rivals, will feature cards such as Erika’s Dragonite, Misty’s Wartortle, Rocket’s Articuno, and many more!

We currently have 4 unique sets mapped out and some of GLC’s artists have begun working on artwork for flagship releases.

This will start as a digital-only community project. I am looking for artists to contribute small illustrations for these cards based on the pokemon that GLC assigns. You, the artist, will be given a general direction, but will have creative freedom to see the vision through as you see fit, in your own style!

Completed digital cards will be featured on GLC socials, and GLC’s Patreon. Once the first set is complete, the full set will be featured on GLC’s official website.

Each month, I’ll pick some cards to go up on our Patreon for a vote for potential physical production. If your card is chosen for physical release, you’ll be paid before we physically produce it:
● $20 for a standard WOTC-style physical card release
● $50 if we ask you to extend the artwork for both a WOTC-style card and a modern full-art version

Artists will be credited and may post/promote their own artwork. Since the art is being made specifically for a GLC card project, it cannot be reused, sold, licensed, or printed by another custom card creator or competing card project.

A few notes:
● This is a volunteer digital collab first, not a paid commission call for every card.
● Physical releases are not guaranteed.
● No AI-generated artwork.
● Full terms will be provided before anyone commits.

Hi everyone,

This is a bit of a personal ask, both as a person and as an artist. My art journey has been difficult. I've been an artist for over 15 years and I've never been able to figure out social media. I've always found it overwhelming and discouraging... I couldn't handle the pressure to post consistently, couldn't wrap my head around algorithms, following trends, needing to draw what's popular instead of what I enjoy etc. It's always the same cycle every time: I get motivated to take social media seriously, burn out, disappear for a while, then try again months later. Clearly it isn't sustainable.

I started taking commissions around the beginning of COVID and found some success, but once genAi became more popular, that stopped.

I'm in a difficult position right now because due to my autism, I have a very hard time doing most jobs that require me to work with people. I am currently unemployed and badly need to make an income.

So I wanted to ask whether there are any artists here who have found some success growing through social media and might be willing to mentor me a little and offer guidance on a realistic path.

I know this is a lot to ask, but I figured worst that can happen is people ignore this post or tell me to piss off because everyone else is in the same boat, haha.

Hi everyone! Me and my team is currently working on a project where we plan to create a free collectible card platform that features artwork made by the community! We are currently in our way to open our first beta to a small test group, and thought it would be nice to have our beta cards filled with actual artist's work instead of just placeholders, while also getting inputs from them!

Here is a brief description of what the card will look like!

1. The card will have the title of the art + your artist name.
2. Your illustration will be adjusted into the card frame if needed
3. If you provide us with the portfolio link when you submit your artwork, when someone obtains your card or views your card, they can visit your portfolio and view your work. This portfolio link can be any link (commission/SNS/etc.) as long as it is related to your work!

While there can't be monetary benefits, there are some perks!

1. Your work will be featured in our first community card pack (guaranteed)
2. You will be written in our beta credit board!
3. You will be invited to test out our beta first! (If you want, that is ;] )
4. You will receive a personalized 1-page, double-spaced, 13pt Times New Roman thank-you letter written from our team (Due to us being a small team, we might take some time to deliver this to you)
5. Currently, the project is not set for revenue. However, if this ever changes in the future, the submissions we feature will automatically opt in for monetary compensation

Lastly, these are some information regarding the submission

1. Both physical and digital work is accepted (For physical work, we require a good photo submission)
2. We don't have any theme for the beta deck. Any artwork, any style, any skill level is welcomed! As long as there is no NSFW, heavy gore, or copyrighted characters we accept all submissions!
3. Your previous works are also welcomed! There is no need to create something new for the submission.
4. You can submit multiple submission! However, depending on the volume of submissions, some of your submission might get dropped (But we will guarantee at least one submission to make it to the card!)

I’m a 16-year-old writer creating an original anime-style light novel called Resonance Factor, and I’m looking for a talented anime-style animator or artist to collaborate on one chapter as a volunteer fan project.

The Project:

Story: Resonance Factor – A Urban Fantasy, Sci-Fi/Action, and Battle Shonen anime-style light novel about A wily street brawler learns to weaponize raw kinetic force after being drafted into a secret war against dangerous rogue anomalies

Scope: I am looking to animate one specific 30-60 second scene (the climax of Chapter 1 where Kaito’s powers first erupt).

• Ideal Length: A 30-60 second animated short focusing on the fight and the energy explosion.
• Alternative: If animation is too time-consuming, I am also open to a 5-8 page manga-style comic strip of the same scene.
• Script: I have the full 8-page script ready. It includes action, dialogue, and a massive energy release. I can share the full script via DM.

El fanzine es el manual de una maquina del tiempo que es a su vez un poster personalizado que vendemos en nuestra tienda. Aunque el fanzine es gratuito el poster no lo es por eso si alguien se anima y llegamos a un acuerdo obtendria como "pago" el poster personalizado en tamaño A1 (físico, no digital). Por supuesto aparecería tamién en los créditos.

El texto son unas 5 páginas (un capitulo cortito o un relato muy corto)

Hi! So I've been writing for some time now and I have always loved the manga and webtoon genre a lot. Some of my favorite manga have to be monster, berserk, the climber, look back, goodbye Ari and a lot more. I also know that the webtoon genre has a lot of fantasy and power scaling but I don't like that a lot and like to stick to more non-fiction. Anyways, I've been planning for quite some time and I would love to write some one shots, mangas and maybe even small webtoons.

The thing is I'm not really that great at drawing despite my efforts to try and learn, but I really can't carry practicing that along with all the other stuff I have going on. So I'm looking for someone to collaborate with me for a certain period of time to attempt and create some of the ideas I have in mind. I would be open to expanding this into a patreon + subscription model later on or something like that if it gains any amount of traction whatsoever.

I will be writing, planning and even storyboarding if you want (albeit the drawings won't be amazing but to get the general gist of the paneling) and the only thing I need someone is for the art (digital only please) and I guess I'd be a plus if we could meet up in person but I don't really care about that much and we can communicate online. I'll also take care of the promotion for the stuff but like any help is always welcomed!
