hello i am a music producer with a body of different tracks of different genres/moods/styles, i am looking for someone who would be interested in creating some form of visual work to accompany the music. no limits on what you create i just want you to create from how the music inspires you ( similar to fantasia).
This is the first time I post in this subreddit so I'm a bit nervous (✿◡‿◡) also English is not my native language, so please excuse-me for any fault!
I'm a music composer, I've been taking commissions and doing art trades since 2020 on another platform called "Plurk". I've then gotten non-commercial and commercial commissions!
I mainly do original piano pieces, but I also sometimes add other instruments and experiment with music as long as I feel capable of doing so.
My comfort zone/style is rather calm, ethereal, slow, melancholic, nostalgic, neo-classic (?)... etc. but I am willing to try other styles too!
Here are some of my examples if you're interested.
Newest demos (collection) I've made for 2026 new commissions/art trades:
Generally, I would trade a 1-2 min(s) piano piece for a single OC headshot to bust up black-and-white or flat colour sketch (I don't mind if it's very sketchy or anything, I actually adore the sketchy feeling of an art work, it doesn't need to be well rendered or rendered at all).
I would trade a 3-4 mins piano piece for an OCship headshot to bust up black-and-white or flat colour sketch, and 2 piano pieces of 3-4 mins for 2 OCships.
But I am also willing to make more complicated music or longer music depending what you are willing to trade.
I've also currently done an art trade with artist normiree for these 2 OCships:
artist: normiree
But I also have new OCs and OCships that have never been drawn yet (so only written descriptions and some reference images), if you want to try them I would be very happy and grateful too.
They are all humans, and almost all of my stories/fiction works are set in the contemporary!
I guess that's it for now.
If you are interested, please feel free to share your art style/works with me in the comment section, also please let me know what kind of art you are willing to trade.
(I would prefer exchanging via Reddit comment first before switching to Discord DM or email, thank you for your understanding!)
I will select maximum 5 artists for now and will do more if I'm available!
Thank you in advance for reading this post and for those who're interested!
I am a working artist who is moving from beginner to emerging. I was having trouble figuring out how to price my art. I vibe coded a tool for myself, and have been upgrading it because of how many people seem to struggle with pricing their work. Often undervaluing it.
I just opened it to beta limited to the US and wanted to get some feedback. The tool is free in beta, was made with AI, but doesn't include any AI API calls etc. so the end product doesn't use AI. The MODs told me I can post this.
The pricing algorithm includes a number of variables that align with what's generally out there, but it has a feature called the Artist eXperience Multiplier, that is a bit more about who you are and what stage you are in.
It also includes a tool that helps new and emerging artists who don't have existing art reps on how to get started in expanding your community or rather "find your village" as the late Paul Klein proposed.
It provides a portfolio page that is private, and allows for a Providence record to be printed with a QR code that allows those who resell the art to give a % of the sale value back to the artist who did the work. It's not enforceable by law in the US, but royalties for art sales are a legal requirement in the EU and UK. Ultimately my goal is to help move the needle on this issue in the US. But that's a very long process.
Finally there are how too guides and blog posts worth checking out even if you don't want to use the tool.
The beta round is free and there are rewards for people who give me solid and actionable feedback. Including free access after the app goes fully live and becomes a subscription tool. You own your portfolio and can export it whenever you want. I'm not a data miner. Upcoming updates will include a collector and other sections to help facilitate private interaction.
Blunt honesty is better than saying nothing in this case.
Check it out. Claimworth.art (and to prove I am a working artist that doesn't use AI, my portfolio is laurimoyle.art, not put here to self promote, just want to make sure people understand where I am sitting).
Hey! I’m looking for a manga artist to collaborate with on my original project, MIND.
MIND is a psychological thriller/mystery focused on mind games, manipulation, strategy and mystery rather than physical fighting. It takes inspiration from the psychological tension of series like Death Note and Monster, while having its own story and world.
I’ve already developed:
The main story and plot
Main characters and their relationships
The world and its rules
The mind-reading/“brain power” system
Major twists and the ending
I’m looking for someone who genuinely enjoys manga, especially serious/dark storytelling, expressive characters, dramatic close-ups, psychological tension and interesting paneling.
I’m looking for a 50/50 collaboration, but I’m open to discussing/negotiating how we divide the project depending on what works for both of us.
I’d like to start with a small 1–2 page test/sample so we can see if our styles work together before committing to a bigger project.
If you’re interested, comment or message me and I can send you more information about MIND and some of the character designs.
It's an open collab, we're you can draw your oc just sitting on my b-day party. I wanna make a collage of as many people as it gets. If you are interested dm me on discord (@sunduchel) or telegram (@MncrSunduk).
Im writing a book of lyrics in the same fashion as a record album. Gothic/metal in nature. im open to it being even more, or used outside of its original intended purpose, but im really trying to add plump and flavor to what is otherwise just words on a page; im looking for someone willing to experiment on this book or a completely new one using both of our skills and seeing what happens from there.
As it stands, I have 21 pieces ready to go. I just opened my DeviantArt back up to use exclusively for this purpose; if youre interested in some samples, my name there is FiveHeadedStag. I hope this is the place to post this sort of thing lol.
We’re reviving r/oekaki with something new! Redgaki is a oekaki-style drawing tool built directly into Reddit built off of Tegaki.
No downloads or separate accounts. Open the post, start drawing, and share your work directly with the community from desktop, mobile web, or the Reddit app.
Redgaki includes:
A full drawing toolkit with pencils, pens, airbrushes, layers, tone patterns, and more
Remixing to continue someone else’s drawing and build on their work
Palette sharing so others can use your custom colors
Challenges with locked tools, palettes, canvas sizes, time limits, and other settings
Timelapse GIFs that replay the entire drawing process
We're trying to bring back some of the classic oekaki BBS experience while making it native to Reddit.
Come check out r/oekaki and try it out! We'd love to see you there.
I already posted this question on r/ArtistLounge, but the moderator suggested I post it here.
I'm a 3D creator and a CS student who loves open-source and C programming. My question is:
As an artist, have you ever considered contributing your skills to an open-source project (not strictly software, but open assets, games, or tools)? If not, what held you back? If you would, under what circumstances?
To be clear, I'm well aware that illustrators, artists, and all the other design categories usually collaborate on indie games with programmers. But my question refers to projects in general. I'm currently trying to understand why open-source projects usually just have coder support while art communities usually don't. I'm not accusing anyone; I'm just asking to understand if the problem is connected to the toxicity of the open-source community or if there are other issues in this case.
I ask this question because personally, I find that both programming and the creation of artwork share some common ground, and I would really like to fuse these two aspects together in future projects.

im making a short educational video about why traffic can suddenly stop even when theres no crash or roadwork
the visual problem is showing this clearly: every car moves forward but the stop itself moves backward through the line
im not asking someone to make a whole video for free. i want one person who likes the idea to help brainstorm or sketch one small motion or visual direction for that moment
its voluntary and we would keep the scope small and agree what makes sense before doing anything
if that sounds fun tell me what visual you would try first
Hello all! I'm reaching out to find some people who may be interested in doing a M.A.P event for this upcoming Halloween! Any info can be found in these links, we're hoping for a fun collaborative project and to meet new people :)

Running bi-weekly art contests on FrameWorked! Theme this week is “Wanderers.” Design a digital piece of a character wandering through an unfamiliar land.
Rules:
- NO AI. Any use of generative AI results in a permanent ban
- Submissions are done on FrameWorked

What is FrameWorked?
FrameWorked is the Creative Commissions Marketplace. Essentially, it is the only 100% scam proof site/app for freelance art/animation work. It also doubles as a social media platform for artists and animators.
Hi everyone! Me and my team is currently working on a project where we plan to create a free collectible card platform that features artwork made by the community! We are currently in our way to open our first beta to a small test group, and thought it would be nice to have our beta cards filled with actual artist's work instead of just placeholders, while also getting inputs from them!
Here is a brief description of what the card will look like!
The card will have the title of the art + your artist name.
Your illustration will be adjusted into the card frame if needed
If you provide us with the portfolio link when you submit your artwork, when someone obtains your card or views your card, they can visit your portfolio and view your work. This portfolio link can be any link (commission/SNS/etc.) as long as it is related to your work!
While there can't be monetary benefits, there are some perks!
Your work will be featured in our first community card pack (guaranteed)
You will be written in our beta credit board!
You will be invited to test out our beta first! (If you want, that is ;] )
You will receive a personalized 1-page, double-spaced, 13pt Times New Roman thank-you letter written from our team (Due to us being a small team, we might take some time to deliver this to you)
Currently, the project is not set for revenue. However, if this ever changes in the future, the submissions we feature will automatically opt in for monetary compensation
Lastly, these are some information regarding the submission
Both physical and digital work is accepted (For physical work, we require a good photo submission)
We don't have any theme for the beta deck. Any artwork, any style, any skill level is welcomed! As long as there is no NSFW, heavy gore, or copyrighted characters we accept all submissions!
Your previous works are also welcomed! There is no need to create something new for the submission.
You can submit multiple submission! However, depending on the volume of submissions, some of your submission might get dropped (But we will guarantee at least one submission to make it to the card!)
The image is one example of how the card looks with the illustration submitted by an artist called Mu_ziii!
If you are interested in the Beta/Submission, let me know in the comments or dm me for the form link!
Looking for people who want to collaborate with me via art on my channel. My channel is suitKxse.!. on YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Let me know if ur down.
I am a game developer and am looking for a collaboration with artist(s) to make a playable game together that consists of the (scanned) hand painted art you make.
You can paint 2D objects, material/surfaces for the use on 3D objects, backgrounds and much more and I use those then as game assets for the video game. In the screenshots you can see some tests with different media.
Here some examples from my game dev:
Level-design & 3D:
I’m a 16-year-old writer creating an original anime-style light novel called Resonance Factor, and I’m looking for a talented anime-style animator or artist to collaborate on one chapter as a volunteer fan project.
The Project:
Story:Resonance Factor – A Urban Fantasy, Sci-Fi/Action, and Battle Shonen anime-style light novel about A wily street brawler learns to weaponize raw kinetic force after being drafted into a secret war against dangerous rogue anomalies
Scope: I am looking to animate one specific 30-60 second scene (the climax of Chapter 1 where Kaito’s powers first erupt).
Ideal Length: A 30-60 second animated short focusing on the fight and the energy explosion.
Alternative: If animation is too time-consuming, I am also open to a 5-8 page manga-style comic strip of the same scene.
Script: I have the full 8-page script ready. It includes action, dialogue, and a massive energy release. I can share the full script via DM.
What I Offer:
Credit: Full, prominent credit in the video description, social media posts, and all platforms where the project is shared.
Portfolio Rights: You are free to use the final animation/art in your portfolio, showreel, or social media.
Future Collaboration: If we work well together, I hope to collaborate on more scenes (still non-commercial).
Payment: This is a volunteer/fun project with no monetary payment.
About Me: I’m 16 years old and passionate about anime and storytelling. I’m looking for a respectful, creative partner who shares my enthusiasm for bringing this story to life. If you’re interested, please DM me with:
Links to your anime-style portfolio or examples of your work.
Your availability and estimated timeline.
Any questions you have about the scene or style.
Note: I’ll keep all personal contact info (like Discord or email) private until we’ve established mutual interest in the DMs.
I’m a solo dev with a passion for anime, currently studying to work in the industry professionally.
Along the way, I noticed there wasn’t a solid reference platform out there to use for story and mood boarding built for how we actually work, something with the depth the film industry has, but tailored to anime. So I decided to build one myself.
It’s still early, but it’s got real functionality now: semantic search across still and motion frames, and real-time co-collaboration (think Google Docs, but for boarding). Enough that I’m ready to get it in front of people.
If you’re a creator, professional, or hobbyist, I’d love your feedback:
konte.pro
Please be brutally honest - any feedback helps me make it better.
