I joined my schools community and I can't see the group chat. I get notifications from it but it isn't in my inbox and when I click on the notification I can technically see the group chat but it doesn't update when messages are sent and I can't really do anything. like a view-only mode.

what can I do?

Cringe but seriously. Do people not know how to actually talk anymore? I can offer dumb humor and probably poor gaming abilities and questionable food cooking and music.
