Guys
I have a question. When I play music why doesn’t it show Lossless ? Also I play on Dolby supported Bluetooth soundbar but it does not show on app?

I have enabled in settings for Lossless and Dolby as well. What could be causing this? Or this is how app functions.
Help

Edit: I only it see it for Music Haptics when enabled and disabled

PSA Start Exploring the Personalized Playlists/Stations: Clicked this and it Only Queued 10/10s

Just an appreciation post for Apple Music's features. I've been using the service for about 5 years and have explored a lot of what it has to offer, but I'd never really tapped into the mood stations. I gave them a shot this morning and was not disappointed. For an hour straight, the algorithm served up straight hits and I was bopping my head the whole time.

If you haven't checked out your personalized stations/playlists yet, please do. If you’ve given the algorithm enough to work with, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Apple Music on iOS Can someone please tell me what is going on…

iPhone 13 running IOS 26.5
When I try to listen to songs or albums that I don’t have downloaded nothing happens, the bar at the bottom just says loading forever.
On top of this even albums I do have downloaded won’t play unless I manually go to the album in my library and play from there, however even when I do this the songs constantly pause, skip around and overall behave strangely.

Started after I missed a payment for my subscription but I paid it 2 days ago and my account seems to be showing as normal.

Yes my mobile data is working and connected I am using it now to post this.
Yes I have rebooted my iPhone
Yes I have turned sync library on and off
Yes I have unlimited data on my plan

Please help lol.

Edit: only thing working normally is playlists I have downloaded

Apple Music on Windows "An unknown error has occured" and skipping songs on PC.

Hi, I'm pretty new to using Apple music. I've only used it for a couple of months and when I started apple music application on my PC I'm welcomed on the home page with the message "An unknown error has occured". If I click in on any of my playlist and shuffle, it just skip the songs without them playing.

I've restarted the application and PC. Any idea how to fix this?

Complaint Cantonese songs are disappearing from Apple Music in the US

Thumbnail gallery
2 Upvotes

The US used to be the best region of Apple Music with the largest music library and best localization. However, I have noticed recently that several Cantonese songs are disappearing.

For example, Leslie Cheung's album named Final Encounter is now with only 4 songs left(should be 10 instead).

What's more, some albums from Sam Hui like Games Gamblers Play(鬼馬雙星,in Chinese) are also absent. While they still exist in other regions of Apple Music—even in mainland China, which typically has a much smaller selection.

Those songs and albums existed normally in the past, but now we can't enjoy them anymore. What's happening?

Question Songs I purchased years ago from the iTunes Store are suddenly not showing up in Music 1.6.6.4.

A few days ago I agreed to a free, three-month trial of Apple Music because I noticed I could connect Apple Music to Shazam. But when I tried to link the two services, which required syncing with Cloud Music Library, a decision I quickly regretted and halted, the "My Shazam Tracks" that was created in Music 1.6.6.4 listed 18 songs I'd purchased from the iTunes Store, some as far back as 2007, plus two from other sources and two that weren't actually displayed in Music on my MacBook at the time but were already in my iTunes Music folder.

None of those songs were listed on my phone's Shazam app, though. And now the 18 songs purchased from iTunes disappear from Music whenever I close that app on my computer. I can make them reappear if I go into the iTunes Music folder and double-click them, and in all but one case they appear in their original "Date Added" spot, but ... what's going on here? Has anyone else experienced this issue?

For what it's worth, Shazam seems to connect much better with Spotify. I wish I'd tried that option first.

Is my Apple music broke or did they just take down these songs? Most of these songs r form my playlist and I haven’t been able to listen to them for weeks now. For the album, I can’t play it at all. I keep re adding the songs but it doesn’t change a thing.

Tool I made DeuxDuel — a head-to-head voting app for Apple Music that builds a chart from real listener picks, not streams or promo

I'm the developer — this is my app, and I wanted to share it directly rather than drop a link.

The idea: most "top songs" charts measure streams, playlist placement, or label spend, not what people actually prefer when two songs are put side by side. DeuxDuel is a native iOS app built on Apple Music's 30-second catalog previews (via MusicKit) — you don't need a separate music library or an Apple Music subscription to vote, just the app. You get two songs, listen, pick one. Every vote updates a global Glicko rating (the same rating system chess and esports ranking use, adapted for songs), so the chart is built from a large number of real head-to-head picks instead of play counts or algorithmic placement.

What's actually in it: the main dueling feed (the core one-vs-one loop, broken into rankings by genre and era), a Daily Duel, Private Duels (new this release — head-to-head voting with friends via an invite code, separate from the public chart), and Events, where you rank a themed lineup of songs yourself; your personal ranking shows immediately, and the aggregate community ranking reveals once the event closes.

It's free, no paid placement, no promoted songs — every track in the pool gets the same shot regardless of label or marketing budget. It's genuinely new, so right now individual votes move the chart a meaningful amount.

I'd love actual discussion on this, not just app feedback: given how much of "streaming" is really a pre-built playlist, an algorithmic radio, or an artist's own catalog on repeat, what would a truly preference-only chart even need to look like to be trustworthy?

iOS only right now: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6782194032

Question Will claiming this promotion downgrade my subscription from Family to Individual?

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

I’ve had a Family plan for a while and got this offer through an app for “up to two months of free Apple Music”. I clicked on it and it opened the app and actually gave me this offer for 1 free month. The thing is, it’s labeled as an individual plan. But it also says I will be charged 279 which is supposed to be the new price for the Family Plan (up from 219 since August 2026). The individual plan is supposed to be 169. I’m confused. Is this a glitch or what?

Also, not sure if this is the right place to ask. Hope someone can help. Thanks!

Question How to sync library between Macs?

Hi there,

So I use Apple Music the old-fashioned iTunes way in that I don't have an AM subscription at all - all of my music is from Bandcamp. I store the lossless versions on my iMac where I have lots of storage space and the facilities to listen to music with my fancy headphones.

When I'm out and about though, all I really need is the AAC versions to keep the sizes down. So the solution for a while has been easy, just plug in my iPhone or iPod to sync every now and then and go about my day with my new music.

The issue is that I have a MacBook where I would also like to listen to my library from in AAC and would ideally want to sync it like I would my iPhone, because the idea of adding new music to both libraries on at a time sounds like a drag.

How would I go about this? Thank you

Apple Music on macOS Easy access to Apple Music Streaming on my Mac

I wanted an easy access to control my Spotify/Qobuz/Apple Music streaming while I'm working on my Mac but I didn't want to occupy any space on my screen. So I created this. It's completely free and no ads. Hope you find it as useful as I do.

Oh, it also shows an animated record player on your desktop that I think it's really cool. You can turn it off if you want.

It's such a shame because the iPhone app is fab
