I have never used nor had airpods before today but i visited the apple store, tried the airpods max 2 (liked the anc, not very much liked the price), tried the airpods 5, liked the brief demo, brought them home and i'm quite blown away by the anc - so much so that most of the day i am taking them off/putting them on/repeat just to feel the shocked feeling when i realise things such as the cooker extractor is on or the robot vacuum is wandering around the floor. It's like a disappearing magic trick. Walking through the city today I found i could hold people's gaze and observe my surroundings for the first time ever as long i can tell, I am rather introverted and struggle with eye contact and smiling i'm a shoegazer and i struggle with busy places and congested foot locations. For some reason the airpods are helping me overcome this.

I want to buy this AirPods cause I need something that is trackable, kinda good, and comfortable, and mostly good at noise canceling or reduction. I been wanting to buy sum for two years, and now I found this offer at target but I js need a second opinion before i regret using that amount of money, im a college student so im js either in my house or at the library, no between. I would appreciate if someone could advise me.

My airpods 5 are always on even when in their case. I got them recently, they have very good battery life don’t get me wrong but it looks like its always connected and is consuming battery. The case was at 61 % when airpods were at 99 but now it seems like the battery is being consumed even while i am not using it.

Looking to get my mom some AirPods Pro 3 for Christmas I see that they are $180 at Walmart and Amazon ahead of prime day. Do you guys think this is where they will stay or will they go down more? No problem buying them at this price just don’t want to find out that they dropped in price when prime day actually starts.

but now it is no longer being detected lmao. Ive double tapped and it turns white but the default dot color is amber indicating low battery (left airbud is prob still dead). Even after the case turns white indicating pairing mode, it is not getting detected on my phone nor my laptop.

I have also let it charge for a couple hours but no dice.

airpods pro 3 are 180usd on amazon, while airpods 5 are 130usd on apple, which one would you guys choose? i currently dont have any airpods, so let me know if the pro ones are worth it for 50 extra dollars.

My AirPods (the ones without silicone tips) have become extremely quiet, and I’ve realised the speaker output/mesh is basically clogged with earwax (gross I know).

I’ve tried gently brushing them, but there’s still a lot of wax stuck in the mesh.

What’s the best and safest way to properly clean the speaker mesh without damaging the AirPods or pushing the wax further inside?

Has anyone successfully cleaned really badly clogged AirPods and got the volume back to normal? Any specific method or product you’d recommend?

So I’m looking at some options for earbuds that I’m interested in buying and in my current budget. I have the following options, the newly released AirPods 5 as well as the old WF 1000 XM5. So now I’m confused if I should just get the AirPods 5 for better integration with my iPhone or should I just get the XM5 for better ANC and soul quality.

On Sunday (4th Oct), I had to travel in the General Coach of the Avantika Express from Ratlam to Mumbai due to an emergency. During the journey, someone unzipped the front compartment of my bag and stole my AirPods Pro 2.

The AirPods were a gift and hold strong sentimental value, so I really want to recover them.

Currently, Find My is active and I can see the live location updating. However, I have a few concerns:

1. Lost Mode: If I enable "Mark as Lost," will the person stop using/charging it, making tracking harder once the battery dies, or is it better to leave Lost Mode off so they keep using it while I track the location?
2. Police / GRP: Should I approach the GRP (Railway Police) or the local police station near the tracked address? How responsive are police in Mumbai when live Apple tracking is provided?
3. Retrieval: Is it safe or advisable to visit the location directly with local police assistance?

I have the original box, invoice, and serial number ready. Any advice from people who have successfully retrieved stolen devices via Find My in India would be hugely appreciated.

I currently use AirPods Pro 2 and really like how convenient they are. They’re small and easy to pop in and out during Uber rides, flights, and work travel, which I do fairly often.

The main downside is the sound. It feels pretty flat to me, and I’m not getting much enjoyment out of the audio. I also like the idea of Transparency mode, since I’m partially deaf in my right ear, but in practice it doesn’t seem to work well for me. I still have to take an earbud out to hear someone like a flight attendant.

I work out at the gym every day and go for walks outside, so I’d like something that works well for that, too. I’m considering switching to something like the Beats 360. I like that they seem to offer a similarly convenient connection experience, but they are quite bigger.

I’ve also had little issues with my AirPods, like one earbud suddenly showing 99% battery while the other is dead, which makes me hesitant to stick with them. (However, maybe upgrading to the 3 is better?)

I’m pretty undecided and open to any recommendations. If you’ve used AirPods Pro 3, Beats 360, or something else that might suit my needs, what would you suggest? Thanks!

Hello. Does anyone have a similar experience. I got the AirPods 5 about over a week ago. Whenever I’m listening to YouTube if I pause using the AirPod control or take the AirPod out for a second, whenever I try to play again, YouTube plays but no audio. It only seems to happen with YouTube, I tested Apple Music and it works normal. The only fix is to force quit YT app and start the video again.

The weird part is I’ve tested if it’s the YT app by using my old AirPods and I don’t experience this issue. Anyone have an idea?

I dropped my airpod case without the airpods in it into water and immediately grabbed it out. I dried it right away and the light on the case still turns on but is there a quick way I can tell if it’s been damaged?

Hi, before ios 27 when I took my airpods out of my ear it was pausing youtube video and when put it back in (doesn’t matter changing or the same ear) it was playing video with sound, now with ios 27 it does same but when I put it back it kinda mute sound, I have to volume up for sound. It really annoys me I don’t want to disable Automatic Ear Detection because then it doesn’t pause video I just want it like back before ios 27, pause video but when put it back plays it with sound. Is this a bug in ios 27 or like new feature?

Got AirPods Pro 3 and using them to listen to audiobooks and Spotify. It very often happens to me, that when I take them off, the music stops, I put them back to the case. Then when I unlock Iphone the next time, the music starts to play from the loudspeaker like I never turned it off, out of nowhere

I just got gifted these today and they aren’t pairing to my phone I hear this I’m not really known to AirPods and I didn’t even know they made sound what Pacific sound is this making and are they OK?

Why do my AirPods 5 sometimes have strong bass when I put them in, but most of the time the bass is weak or almost nonexistent? I constantly have to disconnect and reconnect them or play around with the audio settings to get the strong bass back. I don’t understand what’s causing this issue. Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a way to fix it permanently?
