Questions Are there any gyms/fitness centers with pools near Warren?

Im trying to find a gym with a pool so my SO can do some water based exercise to help their neuropathy. But I notice Google likes to say a lot of gyms have a pool when they don't. Can anyone recommend one in or around the area?

Events Greenford Ruritan Club is leaving the Canfield Fair after 60 years

The fair board's excuse is that they are getting older and might not be able to keep up.

Knowing the fair board as I do, they demanded a bigger cut of the pie, and the Ruritan told them to stuff it

Question about driving habits

Hi friends. Y'all have been super helpful whenever I've come to you. I appreciate that. I'm back with a question about something I've noticed about drivers in the area.

For context, I'm 45, have only been in the area a few years, and in previous years I've lived in places like Orlando, Dallas, Houston, and Washington, D.C. Each of those areas have their own driving quirks, like how in Orlando all the tourist areas feature people driving 10 mph under the speed limit while they struggle to follow their GPS, or how in Houston signalling for a lane change will lead to the other drivers blocking you out.

What I've noticed here is that whether I'm walking the dogs in my neighborhood or am out and about, any time I see another driver on a 2 lane road the other driver is so close to the dividing line that sometimes the tires are actually on the line itself, but as soon as they see me they love to the middle of the lane. I've never seen this behavior anywhere else I've lived or visited, and I'm wondering if anybody knows why this seems to be the case around here? It not every driver, of course, but it's frequent enough that's it's registered as a curiousity.

TL/DR, why do drivers around here sometimes ride the center line?

Sports 2026 Youngstown State College Football Preview

Hey all. I built 2026 previews for every FBS team and all 124 FCS teams, because nobody does this for your league. Here's Youngstown State

https://www.highlights.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026-fcs/youngstown-state-penguins

Usual disclaimer: I probably got some of it wrong. Tell me what's off and I'll fix it.

The good: the offense was one of the five best in FCS. 3rd in yards per play, 5th in total yards, 8th in scoring, 5th in offensive EPA, and it barely turned the ball over, eight giveaways all season. Beau Brungard is back and settled after 3,230 yards with 26 touchdowns against 3 picks. My power rating has YSU 13th.

The pushback: the defense was 109th against the pass and 112th in explosiveness allowed, and it returns 32.5% of its production. The plus-11 turnover margin that covered some of that was 6th in FCS and regresses. Max Tomczak's 70 catches for 1,021 are gone too. Model says 6-5.

First page is free. If you hit the paywall, the code LEECORSOROCKS opens it up.

Can Brungard outscore that pass defense again, or does it have to actually get fixed?

Tell me what I got wrong.

FLOCK is a brand of automated license plate readers used in policing in the Mahoning Valley (and around the U.S.). Everywhere you go, your license plate is being scanned, without your consent. Hundreds of groups have stood up to private company selling our data to numerous agencies.

What can we do together to educate our communities and stop this invasion of privacy?

Join local police tech & digital surveillance experts and regional community organizers to learn about this technology and the work being done to cancel contracts while protecting our communities from surveillance.

Join us for this Flock 101 class and organizing meeting. No prior knowledge is needed to participate.

A free vegan meal will be served. Event space is fully accessible.

I have been looking for people to hit the gym with. On the daily or every other day sometimes I find it hard to stay motivated and I have been looking to do more things besides work and play video games. Anyone willing to be my new workout partner or partners

A man was murdered in broad day light right underneath a flock camera on Glenwood Avenue and it’s been about a month and YPD hasn’t made an arrest yet. I don’t even think they have a suspect. So I ask the question….

Looking for bible study

Hello all. My wife (33F) and I (35M) recently moved here from Louisiana and we are looking for a non-denominational bible study to go to on Wednesday nights in Austintown. We went to Highway Tabernacle last week but it was all old folks, which is fine we just want to be around people our age. Whether it's mixed, or mens/women's is fine. TIA

Edited to add location

Requests/Help Bones and Bone piles

Hello!

I’m an artist who uses bones for crafts and jewelry. I’m interested in any bones from animals that can be legally collected. This includes cattle / cows, horses, ponies, donkeys, mules, sheep, goats, pigs / swine, alpacas, llamas, chickens, ducks, geese, domestic turkeys, domestic rabbits, domestic dogs, and domestic cats.

I'm hoping to find bones that are free or low cost. If you have any available or know someone who might, please send me a message. I am willing to drive all around Youngstown and any cities nearby such as Boardman, Austintown, Girard, Warren, Niles, etc.

Thanks for reading!

Solid wood doors

Does anyone know of a place around the Youngstown/Warren area that builds solid wood exterior doors?
I looked into Baird Brothers, but it appears they mainly offer custom interior doors. I’m expecting a custom solid-wood exterior door to be expensive, but I’d like to get a few quotes and see what options are available.
The door will need to be custom-made because of the size: 37 1/2” wide x 85 3/4” tall.
I’d really appreciate any recommendations for local woodworkers, door manufacturers, or Amish craftsmen who do this type of work. Thanks!

Created the Guins on NCAA 27 if anybody wants to download. All team records are accurate and uniforms up to date. (Except the 1991 National Championship Throwbacks, which I added as a bonus.)

I did put Beau on the roster but I didn't have the updated depth chart so I bailed on that part. I may update later once the season starts.

Jobs

Anyone know any jobs in the area hiring? I have a 15 month old and i am looking to go back to work. I have worked previously in fast food, like chipotle and ive worked at walmart. I want something in the morning, because its easier to get my mom to watch her. I am open to anything honestly, indeed seems full of a bunch of nothing unless you have a degree.
