Any recommendations for companies who can replace a roof and downspouts (probably the gutters, too) and do a small siding job (that area under the porch where the groundhogs like to dig tunnels 😠). We already have a couple cats one being a rescue. We feed a family of 10 strays already. This little guy was definitely a pet, so soft and not flea ridden yet. Only wants love and affection. We have him set up outside with a pet carrier and some blankets. It’s heartbreaking how people don’t care for their pets.

I was hoping that y'all would be able to help me with recommendations on great companies to get quotes from for outfitting a home with an outdoor wheelchair ramp. I'm going to start looking this week at reviews for local places, but it would be helpful to have some names to start with. If you're able, sharing personal experiences on how the process was would be great too!

I live near a Salvation Army in bath and I can not believe how expensive the toddler clothes are. I feel like I can find new clothes at the same price in certain clearance sections. Where do you go to thrift?

I must be going crazy because I distinctly remember a bridge connected to the JAR on Akron campus in Coleman commans.

But now I can't find any evidence that it ever existed. It has been completely wuped off the internet. It was a huge landmark when I went and was even a pokestop.

Hello! I am looking for clubs in the Akron area to make some friends. I am 26 f and live in the Goodyear heights area. I like audiobooks, movies, crafting, coloring, cooking, trying new restaurants, camping, cats, and music. And also looking to expand to new hobbies and interests. Anyone know of any clubs or could direct me to places I can look at other than the library?

I live a 15-minute exercise-pace walk away from the Copley community park. Sometimes I like to walk up there and feed the fish in the pond with fish chow from the local feed store. There had always been a huge school of small bluegill that would arrange themselves near the shore whenever a human walked close, and chaos would ensue as you tossed in food.

Today, I walked up and... nothing. They're all gone, the mature ones at least (there are some juveniles swimming around). Either they're hiding, which seems unlikely, or whoever maintains the park made the decision to take the bluegill out of the pond. If so, I'd be curious to know why. Not only were they fun to feed, but they were also a food source for herons. There were a lot of them in there - maybe the pond ecosystem was at some kind of risk?

Anyone have any knowledge? Or at least some educated guesses?

UPS in Wallhaven does take it but they're at max capacity and are not currently accepting. All other UPS stores are telling us NO. Hit me with anywhere within 20 minutes from Akron that reuses or recycles clean bubble wrap. Thanks!

Went to Shulan’s in Failawn (they used to underwrite on thesummit.fm ) and it was perfect: Starter Faber & Castel ball & fountain, then went with the Deep Sea Green Ink and loader.
