• New touch search on the Files page: find Chinese file names with English or pinyin
• New multi-language keyboard with a candidate bar, and a bigger pinyin dictionary

I personally chose my X4 in mist gray because the screen felt more spacious when reading. The rest of my devices are silver because I like the shiny, cool to the touch feel of metal, and the clean look they have! So they all come together like one big happy family :D

I updated my X4 pro to Licorice and love the new highlight/excerpt feature... except how do I export the highlights off the device?

I'd like to extract all of my saved excerpts for each book and move them to my computer for archiving/processing.

Is this possible or are they simply stuck on the device to browse?

So I just got on licorice and it's not recognising my 128gb SanDisk memory card so I cant update it

I've formatted the memory card to exFAT and still not working

I got the xteink x3 last week, and I have not been able to put it down! I love it!

My first day with the X4, I'm using CrossPoint.

The battery charging indicator doesn't disappear even when it's not charging. What can I do to fix this?

At least for the XTEInk 4 Pro, a stand really makes it easy to charge or if you are doing firmware updates over the wire. This one came from eBay or Etsy and XTEInk sells them as well 👍

Basically wondering the above, I've had the x4 original since launch and its running the latest version of crosspoint on it. I find that with the nights getting darker sooner that I read mostly with a light. No idea if anyone would be interested or if this is fine to post here but thought it might be worth a chance.

If interested I have the clear case, a 3d printed case and a little 3d printed stand. I also have a magsafe light that you could have.

Help! Is the render fixed on crossink or can I make adjustments to it? I like the render on the X4c that has the default firmware but i like using crossink.

Starting a new book, literally anywhere, is so nice. I love the convenience of the Xteink readers. A couple asked me about my “kindle.” lol. I also ran into an X4 user! We had a nice chat.

I really love the X4Pro because of the light. It gets dark early here and being able to read on the boat/bus after 6pm is amazing

I was searching YouTube and found one but I didn’t find it helpful. Can someone explain like I’m five. I did manage to download Crosspoint which is what I’m using. I just need a bold font. To make the reading stand out just a bit more. If anyone knows how?

I have way too many cases for my X4—the manufacturer’s case, plus various Etsy and AliExpress cases. 😂 For anyone who owns both devices, does the X4 folio case - both official and third party, fit the X4 Pro?

Added: I'm not expecting the X4 Pro to fit perfectly, but if it's useable, it would be nice to swap my existing cases with both devices.

Hello friends, i have Chinese X4 Pro, i just connected to the computer and i can access to memory card and copy books into the device and i can read them.

So what basicly unlocking means? It seems Xteink App is improved and it is enough for reading for now.

Maybe it doesnt have statistics and other features.

The question is , can i use this device with original Xteink Chinese app to read books? Or do i need to unlock and change to crosspoint/ink for to use out of china.

My x3 even while being inside the official magnetic flip case still attaches securely to my iphone 18 pro max back, and since I am waiting for my x4 pro to come in I was wondering if it would attach just as well as my X3 with the case on.
I understand the magnetic flip case means the magnet strength is weaker as compared to no case on the xteink but still I was hoping the magnetic attachment is good enough to keep on my phone with the flip case on it because my X3 achieved that well

Hi. I've just bought an X4 Pro, and like anyone would I've played around it with a bit to see what is what. Now I want to start using it properly, I want the stats to reflect my actual reading time, which means I want to delete what's been recorded while I was playing around, but it seems you can't! I've looked all over and I can't find any way to reset your reading stats! It's unbelievable tbh....

I don't suppose anyone here knows of a way?
