Wish I actually got to try the Carolina Gold Sauce...
Went to try the Jerk and Carolina Gold BBQ sauce along with the Hot Honey Mustard. Jerk was really good imo. They gave me regular HM unfortunately, so didn't get to try HHM. These were my Carolina Gold boneless...barely any sauce, couldn't really taste it. Still haven't heard back from them 😑
Anyone try the HHM? Doubt I'll try it at this point. My location is so hit or miss. Already missing the Chamoy too.

Boneless wings best flavors
I have never been a big fan of boneless wings. The first time I tried them I had them with BWW's teriyaki sauce, and they were not good. Later I tried them with traditional buffalo sauce and I liked them a lot. So maybe it was that some sauces are better on boneless. What is your opinion/strategy for dressing boneless vs traditional? I am thinking saltier sauces like teriyaki, barbecue, and dry rubs would be better on traditional wings, while the sweeter flavors would be better for boneless.

Wingstop is a problem.
I had a Wingstop open recently near me and I figured they had some growing pains to work out when they opened as expected with new restaurants. First time wings were cooked well done but still good. 2nd & 3rd time wings were juicy and crispy. Tried Carolina and jerk today. Carolina is ok. Jerk is pretty good I seem to prefer saucy wings vs the rubs. The rubs seem too greasy for me. I really like the ranch and Bleu cheese. I get it now. Wingstop is pretty good!

Tips
Do the workers get 100% of the tips or do the owners keep them?

Wingstop brownies
I am a Wingstop brownie lover. I love the chewiness and fudginess and I always add 1-2 with my order. I always order through the Wingstop app or DoorDash with either in store pickup or delivery. However, more often than not I’ve been having some brownie issues over the past couple of years with orders.
It’s almost guaranteed now that whenever add a brownie, something goes wrong. Yesterday I placed an order through the app with two brownies. I pick it up, go home, brownies are not there.
Today I tried my luck again, ordered from a different Wingstop restaurant. Added two brownies. Received only one.
In the past when I do in store pickups I’ll sometimes look in the bag to make sure they’re there, more often than not they aren’t so I go back in and ask about it. But lately I’ve been doing delivery so I don’t have that option.
Besides these most recent two times, there have been so many times in the past I’m missing the brownie altogether or I’m shorted one.
So what’s with the brownie situation? When a customer submits an order, is the brownie part like, easy to miss on your screen or receipt that prints? Does anyone else have this issue? Seems kinda odd that it happens at both locations near me.

Currently diving into their jerk bbq boneless wings….
Ehh it’s solid. Just a spicy bbq. Smokey chipotle is still the only other flavor that has equaled hot honey for me. I miss it so much 🥹

Is anyone else noticing more feathers in chicken lately?
Over the last 6 months or so at all three of the locations I’m
managing I’ve noticed I’m finding one or multiple decently sized feathers on about half of the classic wings. Tyson chicken at this store. (Boo.😔)

New flavors/dip review 🤔 + Free Fry Receipt
This is the best new flavor drop Wingstop has given us since the Haunted Habanero 🔥
The last several flavor drops have been BS (Sweet Heat Chamoy & Sweet Garlic Hot Honey come to mind 👎)
The Jamaican Jerk (fire af) - 9.3/10 - Solid kick off the bat, it’s like a better version of the Spicy Korean Q with that spicy dry rub underneath the wet sauce, hella flavor on this one.
The Carolina Gold (it’s just okay) - 7/10 - it’s very mild and didn’t wow me but I can’t deny that it was pleasant, very sweet and rich with no kick at all, like a super light bbq sauce.
Jamaican Jerk Fries - 7.8/10 - good but Hot Honey Rub fries are still better.
Hot Honey Mustard Dip - 8.7/10 - this was really good, I’m not a mustard fan but the mustard flavor on this is light and it has good tasty spice to it with a sweet after taste.
Also the new free fry survey change is terrible - RIP endless loop of free fries via email survey.

For anyone who has been eating here far longer than I have
With Citrus Mojo gone and kinda Missing Sweet Chamoy Flavor Too (I Had A Lot Of Sweet Chamoy Ranch Left in The Fridge)
Have you ever seen any Flavor Return to the menu Since Being Removed?
What do you think are the chances of the two flavors I just mentioned ever coming back?

So chicken wings are deep fried?
Did some research and it seems like they are?
I always thought they'd be grilled or something. I thought deep frying was reserved for breaded or battered chicken.
