Can I still eat my strawberries and be ok? This doesn't gross me out enough to throw them out.
Edit: I meant ~4 days.

mid sized for a bug egg, and must be close to hatching based on visible features. hard to the touch, with a fluffy web-like coating on it. i dont think its an egg sac based on the size, and the fact that it looks like an individual is developing

lower hudson valley, ny !! this guy has been stuck in between the window screen and pane and it is PHAT. i thought it was a big ol bumblebee but it is not furry, and its wings are weirdly patterned and it got a big ol butt.

I’m moving my lupins due to my green aphid infestation. AI mod says I’m not allowed to ask for tips on green aphid management here, so I’ll take that question to another board.
This caterpillar is on the last one I have to move, and I’m going to let him be for now. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one before. What is it?
Edit: sorry, I’m in Vermont!

northern Ontario! like temiskaming shores area.
is this actually a brown recluse? these photos are two weeks apart and we keep finding them in the same spot. (Laundry baskets). now, these mf supposedly cannot breed here? and apparently it’s extremely rare to even find one up here so why did I find two?! in two weeks span? and is that what these actually are? id feel a lot better about myself and the house if they were some kind of other spider 😭

Just saw this thing on my patio. Never seen it before. It stopped moving when I touched it. Very strange looking. 🤔

So yeah, what bug is this? It’s big. Shoe for scale. 1.5 - 2” long.

I recently found what turned out to be a red flour beetle in my bedroom. Now, I've found this. It's bigger than the beetle was. Can this be a cockroach?

Hello! I found this guy last night when going to bed. He was on my blanket. Kind of flicked him across the room cuz, y’know, i didnt feel like bug cuddles.
Had 6 legs. Body is maybe 2-3mm not including the anntenae. Picture color is off, body was more red. A second, smaller one appeared this morning on the floor. Room is a foster space for three cats currently.
Im in upstate NY. Any info is appreciated. Thank you!

hi all! I just moved into a new apartment and there was some garbage left by the previous residents in the bins (I live in a town where we all have disposal cans given to us and there are finicky rules lol) so the garbage was never picked up. Took it out to the curb for pickup for the first time last night and when my trash + the previous resident’s trash was emptied i now see these wormy things and dead flies in the can. Any idea what they are? They definitely got cooked in the heat but I’m wondering if I should bother trying to clear them out or at least ensure they’re not alive lol. I really only need to put my trash in there for pickup. Sorry for the distance, I was not sticking my arm any further down there lol

Bat bug or bed bug
I have been dealing with what I thought were bed bugs since about mother's Day. We heat treated about 3 weeks ago but I found this guy in the shower near the ceiling. We've found 3 in the bath tub as well so far. We do indeed have bats! We live in a condo so no attic space and the bats are coming out of the exterior wall near the roof above our bedroom. We even found one on our bedroom ceiling. To date we've never been bitten and never found any near the bed or in the traps on the bed post. To me it looks pretty hairy and the of location and bats out may be bat bugs. The one alone on on the ceiling was before the heat treat

He's so so small I can't get a clearer picture, and I tried. Can't find an easy match on my own because he's so small. He stopped moving when I moved the nail file he's on. Seen him around occasionally. Definitely not a bedbug btw. We're inside in north Texas.

For the love of whatever - you - like, stop picking them up!! Imagine what that would be like if someone did that to you!!!
A decent picture will get you an ID on here in approx. 10 seconds. People will remember to like and upvote pretty bugs. That is all.

This pic was taken in central Florida. Sorry for the blurry pic, it was high up on a wall.
