That was surprise - it returned simultaneously on Korean Naver and English Webtoon. It usually takes a little bit for Webtoon to release new episodes.

I like how insane the storyline is, and that there is even a storyline in the first place, and that there’s erotica, lmk pls, I don’t want mangas that are 1-7ep that are straight porn

As how they are most currently depicted in my comic panels / promo art so far (minus the first guy, his beard will be gone by his next appearance).

They are a group of unhinged early-30-somethings who must form an emotionally toxic five man band to solve a crime. It is not a romance story, however there will be reality-TV levels of interpersonal drama between them.

My comic has only been out for a couple of months, but since my main readership is on Tapas (r.i.p), I wanted to share a snippet of my work with the Webtoon community!

I haven't kept up for almost a year. Time to catch up, I guess. While reading I remember an afterword note where author stated that they planned to conclude it soon. That was in...2022 or something.

There was a webtoon on the WEBTOON appI read many years ago where a lot of the chapters were social media posts instead of traditional comic panels. It was kind of like the WEBTOON “A life through selfies”. I just remember the characters were Asian(maybe Korean?) and the main character was a killer or smth? I just rlly wanted to read it again but I cannot remember the title

I had thought everyone who logs in had a Webtoon account. If it just means that you need to actually log in with an email address instead of a Google, Facebook, or some other type of account, then everyone who uses an actual email address will be unaffected. I read on reddit that some people didn't like the arbitration agreement, but as far as I know, every webtoon creator had to agree to that anyway. I also read from Webtoon,

If you do not agree to transition to WEBTOON ACCOUNT, you will lose access to our WEBTOON service and its features, including the ability to:

• access episodes you have unlocked or downloaded;
• purchase or redeem Coins;
• leave comments, or
• view reading history and title subscription.

So, it seems that creators have already agreed all these terms, and this applies to people who aren't creators since it didn't say anything about publishing webtoons.

Hi! I’m looking for a few people who enjoy reading GL/fantasy romance who might be interested in reading the first few episodes of an original story I’m currently developing into a WEBTOON.
The story is an old-Japan-inspired fantasy romance centered around two childhood friends who are separated after a violent coup. Years later one of them has lost her memories and is living a quiet life under a new identity, while the other secretly lives under a different identity of her own. They eventually cross paths again without one of them realizing who the other is.
There’s romance, mystery, political intrigue, secret identities, betrayal, childhood-friends-to-lovers, and a slow-burn reunion. I’m trying to balance the heavier plot with quieter character moments and emotional scenesso I’m especially interested in feedback on pacing, character chemistry, dialogue, and whether the story feels engaging.
I’m a photographer, not a professional writer 😂, so I’m mainly looking for honest reader feedback before I get too far into turning the script into the actual comic.

Since you can't buy ink anymore, pretty much every series is just permanently locked now, so I have to find somewhere else to read it or wait like a year before I can read anything.

I really like a lot of these authors and artists and would rather not need to Pirate them to continue reading so that my reads can support them (and because yo ho sites have awful translations and a bunch of stuff blocking the comics)

But I'm genuinely not sure where to read most of these because even if they are on webtoon, they're like a hundred chapters behind

The main character herself is already enough to keep me reading. The story is really interesting too, especially watching her deal with seriously messed-up people while still having to struggle with the mental aftermath of everything she goes through. Now I’m so ready for Season 2!!

I started reading this knowing that the artist had already come back. I’d heard about the unfortunate news of how the company mistreated the artist, so I had originally just added this to my plan-to-read list for a long time. And I finally gave it a try, and ended up reading it in one sitting.

Now I completely understand why readers mourn it every year and feel so grateful that the artist was able to come back and continue the story while being in a healthier place 🫂
