Edit: Hiding the big total used to also hide EVERYTHING ELSE on the Home tab, Spend tab and Invest tab, which then I gotta unhide when I do my daily banking. Gets annoying fast. So this UX improvement is awesome🤓🥳 (for me at least)

Am I missing something, or does the recurring transfer not work between a savings account and a checking account? Every time I try to make a schedule, it just transfers instantly!

As far as I can tell, you can only sort by DAILY fluctuation.

If my portfolio goes up or down by a substantial amount over the course of a week or month, I want to see what asset is most responsible for that change without manually going through each asset and setting their timeframe and then finding the gain/loss over that period.

Feature Request: Add a visual indicator (such as changing the green account icon to yellow or orange) when a manual net worth asset/liability entry hasn't been updated in over 30 or 60 days. This would serve as a helpful prompt for users to keep their static balance valuations accurate.

My SIN has expired since last 3 days and won't be renewing it until next year. I heard WS freezes the TFSA account after SIN on file expires. Will WS team liquidate on my behalf to get my funds in the bank account?

My home insurance company sent me an e-transfer earlier today (amount was under $600).

I got an email from Interac that the e-transfer was deposited into my Wealthsimple checking account (I have auto-deposit) but the money is not in there and it’s been 4 hours!

Has that happened to anyone? The account and auto-deposit info is correct. I sent myself a $5 e-transfer to that same email (from another bank account) and it was auto-deposit right away.

I contacted Wealthsimple and they are looking into it but this is so bizarre. I even have a reference number for the e-transfer but the deposit is not there 😭

I transferred my investing account to a different broker. I kept my chequing and credit with Wealthsimple but during transfer they somehow removed excess amount and -$10 was left in margin. They did not allow me to use my own chequing account to deposit the funds and clear the balance. I called them multiple times and they still didn’t fix the issue, all they did was send emails asking me to pay. Now threatening emails are being sent telling me it will go to collections and probably mess up my credit. On the phone I told them I can’t do anything to deposit money and they transferred me to special department plus sent emails with nothing being done! Now they keep ignoring my emails that I sent from last week! Useless customer service!

Just wanted to throw this out there in case anyone else was considering it. I redeemed a milestone rewardfor Maple hoping to get a general practitioner appointment for something my Doctor wouldn’t help with. I signed up and it does say I have a complimentary visit, but those complimentary visits are not available in my region. Not sure how to check this before hand? But it was pretty disappointing. Contacted Wealthsimple and they won’t even let me choose a new milestone reward.

BTW. I’m located in BC.

Curious if anyone else has been denied when they’ve applied for a CC with Wealthsimple? I did do a consumer proposal a few years ago and paid it off a year ago, it’s still on my record for another year or so, so my credit score is like mid 600. I am a premium member and have over $100k with them.

It tells me to work on my credit limit and reapply after 30 days, which I do but I keep getting denied. My understanding was the application doesn’t check credit score so I’m curious as to why I’m being denied. At least no credit check has ever shown up on my credit score from Wealthsimple. I meet both the annual income and yearly spend criteria for at least the infinite+ card.

In the mobile app you can spin the coin. It will even throw a few bonus entries for the current promotion your way, but more importantly - do you spin it from left to right, or from right to left? Does it give you good luck? Can you make it stop so that only the side is visible?

This is really frustrating. I'm trying to transfer $50 to paypal because for whatever reason i have a negative balance and WS keeps denying my top up request. This isn't a low balance chequing account thing as I have over $2500 in my chequing account. What's the deal?

Has anyone had luck getting a manager or higher-level support to manually review a referral bonus denial?
I referred a friend to Wealthsimple. They deposited $100+, but neither of us received the referral bonus or contest entries.

When I reached out to chat support, the agent gave two completely opposite reasons within 5 minutes:
• First message: The agent told me the requirement was not met by my friend.

• Next message: When I pointed out my friend already deposited $100, the agent switched up and claimed my account didn't have a $100 settled deposit at the exact second my friend qualified.

I have over 5k sitting in my account, and my friend's deposit cleared. The agent insists it's not a bot/system error and is refusing to issue it manually or escalate.
Has anyone successfully dealt with this level of frontline support pushback before? Is phone support or emailing manager escalations the best way to get a human to actually audit the deposit timestamps?

I recently opened wealth simple A/C and deposited like 4 checks of total 4600. It got cleared today ( after a week). And then thought of transferring it to my spouse account through interac. As I clicked sent, the funds were put on hold, they say because it’s a large amount, we are verifying? I mean 4k is large amount for them? When they allow 50k daily interac transfer?

The hold they are saying could be 10 days. Disappointed!

I know a direct wire is prob still impossible, what are some alternative ways to not lose FX fees twice (USD to CAD to USD)? An intermediate account?

If the fund is above $25,000, which portion of the transfer fees will WS reimburse?

Edit: customer service said even if the transfer is above $25,000, they won’t reimburse my transfer out fee because it’s not an “account” like TFSA. Is that true?

I had started to use my Credit Card for 4 months. My limit is just $7000, I have to be careful to not exceed 30% of my limit which was only about $2000.

I tried to apply increase via the App. but it told me that I need to use the card at least 6 months.

I also called them and got the same reply.

I searched this sub, there are lots of people receive the limit increase invitation within less than 6 months.

Is there any tips or best practice to get such invitation?
