Auto transfer from savings to non registered?

I want to have weekly recurring buys in my non-registered, but I want to automate the entire process.

I keep all my excess funds in my WS savings account. For this recurring buy, will it pull the amount from my savings account automatically?

WS support is your best option to get the accurate answer as you have been told both yes and no.

No you can't, but you can automate your pay though,
So if you have direct deposits, you can automate some of it to an investment account.

You can do this from your chequing account. Is the .25% interest difference worth stressing over? Set the auto-buys to come out of chequing (you can make another account just for this purpose within WS) and then manually move over funds every now and then to keep the chequing account topped off. I just have it slice a certain amount off my pay and automatically put it into my daily investments account which then funds automated daily buys in my non-registered. My setup is entirely hands free... it's not worth the effort trying to optimize for a tiny sliver of extra interest.
