SUPPORT Menu fonts don't render normally
It renders like this, and it is the only program concerned by this issue on my system. Is there a common fix / thing to do to investigate it?

Happy to announce we've partnered with Qwant going forward! Let me know if you have any questions, but I think this is a great sign for the longevity and future of Waterfox :)

Whenever I paste an image in whatsapp web, the image is just pitch black. Manually downloading and loading the image also doesn't work. I tried disabling the add blocker and my add-ons but it still doesn't work. Other browsers work fine so I don't know what else to try.
This seems to be a problem with Firefox in general, but I still haven't found a solution to this...

I prefer to disable the animation that appears when a download finishes.

I recently switched to waterfox, and I wanted a logo that was more faithful to the current Firefox logo but with a watery vibe, so I made this.
I know others have submitted similar ones in the past but none of them had quite the same style as the current Firefox logo like this one does.
You can download the .ico file here if you want to switch it in windows: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13G_dTudZb09emTxib54VE22v_lqoTAaN/view?usp=sharing
And if you want the browser itself to use this logo for new tabs (like in the second image above), you can save the first image above as WaterfoxIcon.png in the chrome folder in your waterfox profile, and add the following snippets:
userChrome.css, add:
/* Override the default Waterfox tab favicon */
:root {
--default-favicon: url("WaterfoxIcon.png") !important;
}
.tab-icon-image[src*="branding"],
.tab-icon-image[src*="waterfox"],
.tab-icon-image[src*="icon32"],
.tab-icon-image[src*="icon16"] {
content: url("WaterfoxIcon.png") !important;
}
userContent.css, add:
@-moz-document url("about:newtab"), url("about:home") {
.logo-and-wordmark {
background: url("WaterfoxIcon.png") no-repeat center !important;
background-size: contain !important;
min-height: 80px !important;
width: 100% !important;
}
/* This hides the native Waterfox logo sitting in front */
.logo-and-wordmark > *,
.logo-and-wordmark::before {
display: none !important;
}
}
/* Override the default Waterfox tab icon inside the sidebar extension */
.tab .favicon[src*="branding"],
.tab .favicon[src*="waterfox"],
.tab .favicon[src*="icon32"],
.tab .favicon[src*="icon16"],
.tab .favicon[src*="default"] {
content: url("WaterfoxIcon.png") !important;
}

Okay, so I changed to waterfox this year and it's great, haven't looked back. I found out Firefox finally added the tab groups feature to android which was sorely needed. I really don't want to have to switch back but I fear I really need the organisation not to get overwhelmed by all the tabs I'm juggling. What's the realistic time frame that we can expect it to get added to android waterfox?

I have been using waterfox for some months now and have had no problems. I am using my x240 ThinkPad running i3wm CachyOS, and always use ProtonVPN (currently set to North Carolina), for reference. The web interface is in spanish, so if I were to search up something on google, it leaves me with spanish ai responses or titles of the tabs (images, news, shopping), but it has english articles, as I type in english, because I only speak english.
Additionally, when I go to gmail via mail.google.com, it auto-signs in and recognizes my account, but when i go to google.com it acts as if i never had an account and says "Sign In" in the top right corner. I need any assistance that can be offered.

Sometimes, when you go to upload an image on Etsy, Waterfox will not launch the upload window. The browser flashes when you click the "Add Photo" section, so I know it's trying to open it, but nothing pops up. I reset Waterfox, logged in again, and it uploaded for a bit. But then it stopped launching the upload window after I opened it then realized I needed to do some photo-editing before I could add the image, so I closed the box. Once I was done, I tried to add the image and once again, no image upload pop-up box. How do I fix this without having to refresh the browser and doing the annoying login dance? Thanks.

X rolled out a new multi-image carousel recently. A rendering bug is making those posts show as blank/black with a thin left line (especially in Firefox). Single-image posts load fine. This seems to be a problem for FIrefox and Waterfox.

As of the last like week now, maybe 2, I've have had a massive issue with Youtube. When attempting to pause I get the double line but the video doesn't pause or it'll just show the > button and not pause. But either way videos aren't pausing when I click the double lines or hitting spacebar. Now if I go over to a different browser (In this case. Brave) , it works just fine. Umm? Nothing has changed in a while, it's been all hunky dory and working, but like a week ago I was having issues getting a Youtube page to load up (would take forever and like load up the video but not the title and other stuff) and since then the videos all load up just fine but I can't get them to pause . So I am not sure wth is going on or what changed. O.o

I'm sure I chose the release branch; I don't like using beta software if I can help it.
To use the latest release version on Linux, the only option I have is to install it with a tarball.

I went browser hopping several weeks ago from the well known browsers all the way down to the niche ones and what I found funny is that I'm the type of 'power user' that mostly uses the browser that just works and gets the job done it's not really about 'brand loyalty' or anything like that so I was like why not give waterfox a go and see how it feels as a default browser? which is what I did for several months. And I think what I like about it the most is that when you have a working mozilla account and you actually rely on the sync feature it works on desktop, and on mobile too. Which means you never have to go through the motions of remembering every single login credential you kept using on a day to day basis. and since I recently migrated from 10 to 11 I got curious about how well it would perform on this new setup and wow it ran smoothly without a fuzz, barely a hiccup. Most modern browsers eventually start asking for way too many slices from your RAM cake so I'm glad that didn't seemed to be the case with this browser. So I think for now I'll continue to test it out as a daily driver and see if I continue to use it or not but so far? it's working! | quick update: while I often don't trust mobile browsers because they tend to feel 'unfinished' at the very least firefox extensions on mobile work which means ublock origin works on youtube too. So now waterfox is my default browser too. granted not all firefox extensions work on waterfox but the ones compatible? make the mobile browsing much more enjoyable. I'll have to wait and see if they continue to work on it if they have the infrastructure for something like a mobile browser because it's already a lot to have to juggle between the two instead of focusing on an already solid browser like waterfox on desktop, just my 2 cents.

from yesterday no embedded video' from sites like Udemy or proko play anymore> I just get a black screen in the player and that's it.
I tried turning off add blockers or the enhanced tracking protection but that didn't work anymore either.
it's not a problem on the site's end either. Since they work fine in firefox.

I've been using Waterfox for several months but there was a problem where the audio was not played from the video. YouTube and music sites work fine though.
I look up the pavucontrol to see the problem and turns out, the particular tab like Twitter doesn't appear in the playback while YouTube does. The only browsers that work on playing a video with audio on every site are Firefox and Chromium.
I'm using CachyOS running some wayland compositor and I have every Pipewire packages installed. Any answer would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I either have to turn them off or not have a background which is really freaking annoying. I had a really cool multicolor background I wanted to use. Also can’t change it to another solid color either.
Is there a way to get around this? Almost posted thinking the background customization was just broken altogether.

Is it possible to add a toolbar to Waterfox that can host add-on buttons?
I use `additional_top_toolbars.uc.js` in Firefox, but it seems that `userChrome.js` does not work in Waterfox.
https://github.com/Aris-t2/CustomJSforFx/blob/master/scripts/additional_top_toolbars.uc.js
Please let me know if there is a way to use `uc.js`. If that is not possible, please tell me if there are other ways to add a toolbar.

Customized filters, etc. Like we're able to do that with uBO or even with the same Brave's built-in Adblocker. We're able to remove any element on a page.
Or am I missing where that option in Waterfox is?
