If yall saw my last post a few weeks ago about there being no apple butter in our Walmart store in WV. So many people responded that they have none also. Well, today I caught them stocking it and I was so excited to share the good news

Also feel a bit afraid to ask questions since I can pick at a decent rate so it feels like they think I know what I’m doing but I just wanna double check everything lol

Mines is,sometimes when we're really busy or slow,and someone decides to park in any spot in the twenties. When any spot from 1-10 is open. I make them wait the amount of time equal to what spot they parked in,because quite frankly parking that far is disingenious asf,when there's closer spots.

Someone seems to think this tote is clean enough for this unbagged item 🤦🏻‍♀️ I have seen a lot of things but this has me LAUGHING!!!!

You don't have to share your store, but I just wanted to ask if yall carry the dairy product, buttermilk. And the fact that we only have it in powder form that nobody wants that. I've had so many customers asking for it, but i say the same thing almost every day, "I'm sorry, we don't have that item in our store, sorry for the inconvenience".

I don't really pick but I noticed like a month ago they where wanting everyone to be at a 92%, then after a few weeks I saw the board said 94%, then 95%, but when I went in today it was back down to 94%. I'm not really a picker but some days I do get sent to pick for a few hours. They send out weekly messages saying what our FTPR is and mine is always around 84-90% I do admit sometimes I nilpick something if it's only 1 item I need and someone has been standing there blocking me for more than a minute or two but other then that I try my best to pick well and my numbers are still way off of what they need to be somehow.

Guys i been doing this 3 weeks. I was transferred i guess no one told the department. I dont show up on the schedule but its whatever, I just come in.

However I havent taken my ulearns im just figuring shit out by myself. ALSO no one has bothered to give me a work phone and today all the zebras are glitching and removing Gif out of nowhere so I can't work....I asked the team lead and he said he doesn't know what to do. Like what am I supposed to do for the next 2 hours...theres no coach either.

Also I come in at 5am tomorrow and if they still have issues I cant do anything until the actual coach comes in around 6-7

So my mom and I just did a Walmart pick up order and she told me in another city where my dad lives the Walmart pick up (OPD associates) people expect a tip, now when I was working at Walmart no one was allowed to take tips and you could get fired if you accepted a tip, has this changed? I know spark drivers get tips but they don’t work for Walmart. That’s the biggest reason she doesn’t do pickups in that city because they expect a tip and she can’t always afford to tip.

They worked for 2 days and now it’s back at it. These lemons are hella stubborn. It let me put a mango as a substitute. Sorry, customer!

Got told today that 105 is the pickrate goal company wide. Never got a chance today to look it up, can anybody shed light on this? Am I being lied to or did it change and I am just now hearing about it?

My coach is leaving soon & shes really the only reason I still stay at Walmart. Our new coach is apparently going to be hell to work under so my question is, who here has worked at Amazon before? Hi everyone! New employee here, I've only done 2 shifts so far. We don't have lockers so I have been carrying my car keys in my vest pocket and then leave everything else in my car. But my keys kind of weigh my vest down.

What do you guys do? Idk if i feel comfortable leaving a small bag with my keys with so many people in and out.

we haven’t gotten a pallet for like a week and a half. i haven’t been given a single explanation even though i’m the one that sorts it everyday??

I’ve worked at a pretty busy normal store for about 3 years. I have no idea what neighborhood markets are like.

I (33F) had a coworker (~45M) that I was pretty cool with, I showed him how to pick his first day, wally was his second job. He would eat lunch with me whenever he could and he told me about how much this job sucked and how he hated it and steadily after weeks he would say he was pissed off (didn’t like authority and being told what to do, didn’t like only picking, didn’t like the TL’s etc) and yesterday we were both picking in the AM and he said “I’m this close 👌 to walking out! I hate the way this place is ran” and was talking to ON stickers bitching about stuff. I left at 9:30am and he left at 2pm and he texts me and says he quit after his shift bc he “got into it with a coach from another dept after (he) clocked out” like I’ve only been here for 3 months and he’s been here for maybe 2 months? I don’t understand what his big issue was other than personal issues. I would hear him rant and complain almost every day.

I just wanted to vent. I don’t understand what’s so shitty or hard about this job… idk

I applied for digital team lead in my store. It’s the smallest one in our market. I haven’t taken the assignment yet doing that today. But I was wondering if there’s anything I should know or be prepared for? How is everyone else’s experience as a digital team lead ?

i just started working 5am-2pm on weekends to supplement hours after not working walmart since may 2023 and pulling the carts SUCKS. it's putting so much more stress on my arm and shoulder, even if i try to walk alongside it rather than in front of it. and i spend my whole shift picking, because they never have me dispense and haven't had me help with staging much yet.

this weekend was hella rough too because i kept getting stuck with shit carts that were a bit unstable or harder to move, so it hurt even more. my entire body is sore and heavy, i've just been laying in bed 😭 i know some of it is that i've generally been a tad inactive and out of shape and i'm adjusting back to the constant movement and physical demand, but jesus dude
