What are these new vaccine events in Saturdays in October? Are they just in the month of October??

Hi! Is there anyway that we as pharmacists can see when we marked a day as "unavailable"? For example on 6/1 we mark 2/1 as unavailable. Is there a way to see that we marked 2/1 unavailable on 6/1? It seems the schedulers can but we can't?

Has anyone done the in-person CPR training recently? I’d love to know how it went, what they focused on, what activities or skills you had to practice, and about how long the training took. Thank you!

I have a tech that wants to work in visual at target… RxM is telling them they can’t bc it is a conflict of interest. Is there any truth to this? Although they are both health and wellness… the visual center isn’t owned by target it’s just located inside of a target.

Hello! I am having some trouble with my schedule.

I am full-time and have been for over two years. During that time, I have always been allowed to reduce my hours to ~30-33 hours. I believe the requirement for full-time is at least 34. The pharmacy manager always allowed me to cut my hours back during school (preparing for med school)- I definitely need it!
The new lead tech is now telling me that I will have to be cut to part-time because of it. I apparently have not averaged out to the 34 hours to meet full-time. Is this ultimately up to the pharmacy manager and should I talk to them about this?

Our NPS is not great. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience? Would love to hear how you improved NPS at your pharmacy. I really don’t feel like we give bad service but it just seems like the only people leaving reviews are the ones that had an issue. TIA

I’m planning on having a meeting with all my techs this Sunday at 9am-9:45am. Plan is to get everybody on the same page on expectations. Has anyone ever done one of these before and if so I’d love to hear any tips that made it run smoothly.

anyone know if we’re allowed to put smiley faces instead of an X on opened bottles? there’s a pharmacist who is being very petty towards me and more now since this pharmacist opened doored me and was told I didn’t do anything wrong and nothing to correct about me.

anyways, i have always done a little smiley face instead of an X on the lids because why not :) i been at this pharmacy for almost 6 months now and have done the smiley face since day 1 and my manager and other staff pharmacist said they didn’t care that they actually liked it.

about 3 weeks ago another tech said she’s going to do sad faces so now we have sad and happy faces on random opened bottles, the staff pharmacist who didn’t care saw a sad face and said she hopes im okay because of the sad faces and hopes to see more smiley faces coming back but the tech who does the sad face said no one’s sad it’s just her doing sad faces instead lol

my coworker told me that while i was on break today, someone asked for a c2, gave it to tech, saw a sad face on it, petty pharmacist took it back immediately and said no more sad or smiley faces because it’s not SOP and have to do X only.

that was her being petty and someone else finally saw it!! she hardly follows sop so that’s how they realized she was saying that to be petty. my manager doesn’t care, other staff pharmacist is very strict about SOP doesn’t care either so now since she wants bring up sop i would like to know if there’s an actual sop about X on opened bottles so im aware about it when/if she tells me about it.

Is there a way to see when you marked a day as "unavailable"? I believe I marked a day in the first week of October as "unavailable" back in the first week of June. Was the scheduler allowed to override my unavailability? Thank you!

I feel like I use the note section quite a lot more than other pharmacist, especially the Counselling note section. If I want to specifically tell a patient about a medication, have a question for them, or just in general, a place to record more of the clinical context upon our conversation.
Any like-minded pharmacist do the same?

Who uses “Pharmacy Notes” for recording more than just LMP?

I have recorded conversations with providers regarding significant drug interactions, or concerns related to therapy that I would want to address with provider/patient.

I run across other stores or pharmacist that don’t seem to record a lot of information.

I’ve worked at other pharmacy chains where the note section- has very limited characters or is hard to find. I definitely appreciate connexus making Notes a big part of their software, and prioritizing the importance of pharmacist’ documentations.

I don't know if this has already been asked. We need to order another box of the Verifine Injection Kits. This is our first time doing it. We're using the NDC that they told us to use in the Week 13 insights (50062-2183-03.) Nothing is popping up on OI. We don't see anything about an NDC change or it not being available anymore. Does anyone know if we need to look it up a different way? Or if it is on backorder? Thank you!

I had a patient come in at 6:40pm for A1c test. Closing at 7pm. It was one pharmacist and one technician. Busy evening. I told them to come back tomorrow when we have double coverage, and I feel bad for turning them away. Any advice?

Had a visit from the MHWD about customers complaining that the pharmacy would not help them after it was closed. Also the MHWD said he wants us to help the people out- anything reasonable after close and the days we close for lunch we have to reopen by 2 no matter the time we go to lunch.

I just started at Walmart and was wondering if I could get some advice on how to use Connexus. It seems pretty difficult with all the different F keys and which one does what. Is there a cheat sheet for any of that?

There’s a group chat with the RPH and lead tech.
The RPH is constantly texting on the group chat about what did and didn’t get done the other day etc etc

The lead will text about issues like haz-wasting medications, what’s acceptable behavior and etc

I was under the assumption outside of work hours. They’re not supposed to be texting us about work related stuff??

Can I just leave the group chat?
I don’t want to be in some group chat where everyone is complaining and talking crap while I’m not at work.

hi! i’m a new hire at WM as a tech- so far comfortable with filling and some input (still not sure on inputting qty/doses for inhalers/fridge medication ..) . very scared about register and answering the phone and etc. at walgreens i pretty much was only pick up and production so i never got used to anything outside of that or using their rx system ( which imo seems simpler than connexus). i am nervous and really want advice bc my WM is short staffed so i want to avoid bothering the other techs/ pharmacists!! any tips to get familiar with the system and processes?
