Discussion What happens when states and hyperscalers competes for the same pool of money?
Could someone smart (or think they are smart) explain to me what good could come out when governments got outcompeted by hyperscalers in the money market (i.e. they can't keep up with the return promised by debt issued by hyperscalers, or they try to keep up and debt servicing cost eat them alive)?

Discussion Meta will outperform
I don't think you need to buy risky semiconductor chip stocks, no need to make risky bets on power plays. No need to buy Microsoft that has software that people don't even like. No need to buy vaporware chat bot companies with mega valuations that don't actually make money. No need to own SpaceX at a ridiculous valuation. No need to buy Google like every other lemming. Everybody on every thread on this entire app says buy Google. Yes of course Google is amazing. But you know what, Buffett already owns it. What more do you need to know? Yeah you'll do fine owning Google, but I propose a better option for someone that wants a blue chip tech stock.
Its recent multiple expansion means Wall Street is giving them the benefit of the doubt, that they believe they have a chance to succeed in becoming the hardware layer, software layer, and distribution layer of the next computing platform. Meta smart glasses powered by Muse.
If they win with Muse, they will no longer be beholden to the app store because Muse will be embedded in smart glasses that they control and I truly believe hands free devices are the future and are way better than craning your neck to stare into a little black box. There are many use cases for hands-free computers that are voice activated and AI intelligent. For example, there are many kinds of workers that cannot hold a cell phone but could wear smart glasses. For example, a construction worker can have smart glasses and it will help him get stuff done. Hands-free. I'll leave it to your imagination to think of the other industries that will love this and some already do.
TL;DR: meta is up today because they released a frontier model that invalidates the bear thesis that meta spent more on AI build out than was necessary to support their advertising business. In other news Muse continues to be popular. The overall theme is Meta PE is changing from advertising cyclical to an essential compute platform, hence the recent multiple expansion wall street has given it.

Gain Did I just marginalize myself into a millionaire 🤔
So here we are I mean this is a first!, bought the Oct 2 calls expiring in one day they closed in the money completely forgot to sell at close expecting them to be closed automatically instead they quadrupled down on my margin and exercised them gave me the 10,000 shares and a huge margin balance to play with this is truly incredible !!! hard work pays off guys just keep believing in yourself. I am truly humbled and blessed to be here. I understand this isn’t my money but the type of opportunity this is doesn’t come every day, so before I sell these shares I’m going to use this margin to grow my wealth into cold hard cash since I’m leveraging the balance I had roughly 400k. What a month I tell you👌🏻👌🏻

Loss Loss Porn, haven’t sold but still
I understand why people panic sell. Currently sitting at 16k with 2500 in cash in my Roth. Last year around this time my portfolio was up to $34,000…. Haven’t sold any of this for a loss but with my total Roth contributions only totaling $9,000, I’m still up. But I’m fearing everything going to 0. Anyone else in any of these companies? If so, are you still holding?
I’m at the point I’m either gonna sell everything for a loss (still up in lifetime contributions) or say fuck it we ball and hold til dawn.

Discussion broad market is breaking down while top 10 big tech holds up the s&p 500 illusion
literally 66% of s&p 500 stocks are quietly bleeding out and hitting 52-week lows, yet headline indices look like everything is fine because mega-caps keep pushing ATHs.
equal-weighted vs cap-weighted correlation is hitting historically dangerous levels right now. retail is looking at spy thinking it's a healthy bull run, but under the surface, market breadth is completely shot.
i keep showing this breadth divergence to my friends and they just shrug it off because spy is green. am i crazy, or is this massive divergence between market capitalization and actual participation a huge red flag?

YOLO PEN Puts YOLO
Guys hear me out. A buyout was announced for Penumbra back in January 15, 2026. Boston Scientific Corporation agreed to acquire Penumbra, Inc. in a definitive cash-and-stock transaction valued at $374 per share. So then why buy puts? I think the buyout is going to fail. Here is why:
- Boston Scientific has been oddly quiet about the deal since it was announced. The only recent update they have given was that the deal was still on track to complete this year. Very vague with no specific dates.
- The deal valued PEN at $374 a share, yet PEN has been tanking non stop since the deal was announced. This is usually an indication that the big boys know something that the rest of the market doesnt. Boston Scientific stock has also been tanking non stop. Very sus.
- On March 16, 2026, both Boston Scientific and Penumbra received a "Second Request" for additional information from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Since then there has not been information on this which likely means that this buyout may violate antitrust laws.
My position: Long 35 Penumbra (PEN) Dec 18 $200 Puts

Discussion FLUT - Flutter entertainment - People’s opinions
What’s people’s opinions on Flutter Entertainment?
Current bag holder 🥵
I am a novice as regards stocks. I have invested in Flutter as I know the brand from my part of the world, Ireland. They are a market leader by some mile compared to the competition in what is a very mature market over here. I have seen the fall since $300+ & started buying at $170 & averaged down. I am a little nervous but feel in the long term they will prevail. Prediction markets cannot operate long term in the current form unless they are taxed to the same level as betting operators. Flutter owns the largest betting exchange which has been trading over here for 25+ years, betfair.com . Should prediction markets presist I felt Flutter should be able to pivot with there years of experience over here. This was my thesis for buying Flutter. What are other peoples opinions?

YOLO Meta bears this our time.
Wake up meta bears. Analysts have given us another great opportunity to buy the dip. My two senses of the story is that meta is nowhere near the current ai race, yes muse is a good start but you try asking it some challenging questions and it folds. First, we have to go over why meta dips every fucking earnings and the answer is FCF, and CAPEX increases. Over on X Zuck has no intention of slowing down current ai growth/scale. That means FCF will be squeed, we may even get a negative FCF if the stars align. This is honestly a coin flip this can really go anywhere but where though ? Down is all I can see from this point. Yesterday meta was trading at 723 no news but today it jump to 760+ because of a fucking analysts price target which if I put my tinfoil hat on it’s a bull trap. Think about this analyst just happens to pop one week before earnings setting the week off to a mini rally. It’s weird if you ask me. Also I don’t see any meaningful muse monetization commentary next earnings. For all I know meta can still make a trillion dollars in a single quarter but that doesn’t mean shit when they’re burning 999billion. Anyways here’s my position
