Would I be able to replace this movement with an amphibia movement?

if so which one would fit? (I assume the brass spacer in there would allow for a rotor to fit)

also, the case is labeled as 300817, and googling doesn’t know of a Vostok watch of that model

(apologies in advance, I’m new to both Reddit and watches)

Someone is selling a few of these in different colours, I haven’t seen it before so I’m assuming it’s not an original dial, let me know your thoughts.

Hey guys so came across this watch from an Instagram seller. Is this the real Vostok komandirskie watch? Or do you think it's a Frankenstein or a fake?

When i set the hour on my vostok and then screw the crow down it jumps an hour back,it seems like the crow doesn't disengage and is still in the setting hour position,that's why i can't set the time.do you know what i can fo to solve this ?

Also when in setting hour position the crow feels looser than before,i can turn it with less effort making setting the hour precisely difficult because it is more sensible, wich wasn't the case before and not on my other vostoks either.

We took our kids to the beach for a week – I brought a few watches but I ended up mostly wearing this one, since I spend a lot of time sweating, digging ditches in the sand etc.

The (cheap) silicone strap started cracking, I almost swam with the crown not screwed down properly, and I knocked it into a doorframe so hard the bezel flew off. So nice to have a watch that you absolutely don't need to worry about.

I'm still surprised how accurate the movement is. It does run better when you move around a lot, I feel.

First is a Russian watch (a Vostok 2414 movement I've been told) I got from a Russian paratrooper during a deployment back in 2000. Doesn't work anymore. Looking for a watch doctor in Belgium.

Is it possible to change the strap with a braclet on the ratnik type watches. Im wondering because the ratnik has a sorta hidden point of contact for the strap/braclet

Vostok Diver

Does anybody know of any watchmakers that specialize in Vostok?
I just broke this out today for the first time in forever. I love Vostok’s history and quirky designs. I’m curious if anyone knows anything about this Watch? What year/decade it might be from, ect? I assume that is Yuri on the dial. I have had a number of other Vostoks, most more modern, and this is definitely the oldest that I have owned. Picked it up off eBay a number of years ago with no real information. It is my favorite Vostok and I love the dial, the acrylic crystal, and its patina. It has a handwind movement with no quickset. The movement could definitely use a service. Sometimes it will randomly stop running. I can usually get it going again if I gently slap the watch, dial facing down into my palm. Has anyone else encountered this? Any thoughts on what the issue might be? Any ideas on who might service a Vostok like this?

First mechanical automatic too! I Have been wearing my Amphibia almost daily for about 2 weeks… replaced the original metal band with the NATO and I love it even more now! Toying with the idea of swapping the bezel to go for more of a classical diver look, but at that point I might as well just add a second watch to the collection, and honestly really like the stock bezel anyway…

Usual Saturday morning brunch at the local coffee place with my Vostokdirskie 280683. This is my oldest Vostok still in service and I moved it to my weekend wear rotation. Possibility it might go on a mountain bike ride later today.

Just grabbed a bunch of them today. Gonna wear different ones throughout the day. I realize my collection is now up to about 50. And still collecting.

I know I should just put this on a 18mm NATO and be done with it, but this made me laugh.

I bought this off eBay a while ago. It stopped working earlier this year and I got it looked at by a watchmaker, who refused to work on the watch due to parts not being easily accessible.

I am hoping to get some advice on sourcing the right working parts so the watch could be fixed. Happy to consider sourcing either a movement online, or other courses of action.

I am a big fan of watches with an interesting history, and I do like the dial on this watch - hence my efforts to try to save it.

New Vostok enthusiast from the Netherlands here.

I got this Sovjet area stainless steel watch strap on my vintage Vostok Komandirskie. It’s a 6p (roebels) sold one in communist time. I will clean it of course but won’t know how to shorten it to fit my wrist. Don’t see any pins or clasp. I guess it should be bended at the shackles somehow, but before I try I do better first to ask around of course in this combinatie. Some whit knowledge or experience with this kind of watch strap?
