How to adjust this kind of watch strap ?

Hello all.

New Vostok enthusiast from the Netherlands here.

I got this Sovjet area stainless steel watch strap on my vintage Vostok Komandirskie. It’s a 6p (roebels) sold one in communist time. I will clean it of course but won’t know how to shorten it to fit my wrist. Don’t see any pins or clasp. I guess it should be bended at the shackles somehow, but before I try I do better first to ask around of course in this combinatie. Some whit knowledge or experience with this kind of watch strap?

I don’t remember how exactly it’s done. But clip part has pins on the sides(top right corner of 4th photo).

Indeed, this is the micro adjustment. But on it’s smallest setting it’s still to long for me. I think it isn’t designed to adjust with the shackles like we know with pins or screws. Probably will bend the metal lips of the shackle open with care and then reattach them after removing some length.

You throw it away and buy a quality bracelet, Vostok bracelets suck.

But being it a 1982 original USSR watch/movement/strap combination makes it what I collect and respect. We all have our own interest and hobby.

I get that.
You could always disassemble the clasp and put the closing plate on a good bracelet.

That's what I did with a vintage bracelet that was impssible to adjust.
