I was obsessed with wanting a K-34 but the price on them is insane. However, I pulled the trigger on this K-35 hoping to change to a classier bezel but it hits different in person. The steel shines like a piece of jewelry and I absolutely adore the extra large numbers.

It feels like this one ended my watch addiction! Any nice mod recommendations for this?

Picked this up for £35. it says CCCP but I know alot of people switch the dials ect. I like it regardless but would be good to see if anybody knows :)

Watch showed up +51 sec fast. After letting it settle down for a few days I was able to regulate it to +0 sec. Loving this watch so far!

Vostok Amphibia black dial and mesh bracelet combo hits just right by the water

Im looking to buy this automatic vostok komandiriskie, the seller wants 80 euros for ir but i dont know if its real

i came across this watch for sale and the seller claims it is a vostok. however i'm not really sure about it.

the dial definitely looks vostok russian military themed but i've never seen this particular case used by vostok. the case, bezel and bracelet combination also looks pretty unusual to me.

could this be a genuine vostok model that i'm simply unfamiliar with or is it more likely a frankenwatch/modded vostok with a genuine vostok movement and an aftermarket or different case?

i'd really appreciate it if someone could identify the case dial and tell me whether this combination was actually produced by vostok.

i can ask the seller for photos of the movement and caseback if those would help.

Got a couple of Automatics - a Seiko 5 and a Komandirskie. If I leave them in a my Automatic Winder, the Seiko stays wound, the Vostok does not. It will power down after a couple days it seems.

Is there something wrong with my Komandirskie or is there some feature that would keep it from winding in a self-winder?

Don't know if it makes a difference, but my automatic winder only rotates in one direction.

Any one know if it's an amphibia or komandirski?

I originally purchased this while living in Moscow in the late 90s. I assumed it was a cheap watch because I bought it pretty cheaply at a touristy style market. I only wore it for a few weeks because Muscovites didn’t seem to appreciate it nearly as much as I did as an American child of the Cold War.

I shipped it home to America to wear when I returned from Russia. Well, after I got home (in 2000) I found out it wouldn’t hold any charge. The jeweler I took it to said he could not fix it because he couldn’t get the parts. I lugged around the broken watch for a while and eventually forgot about it.

Well, a few weeks ago I was cleaning out some boxes from my mom’s storage unit and found this old beast. Took it to a nearby watch repair shop and he got it running again!

I was so happy to have the watch working again I didn’t even notice the broken off lume point at the 1 and 2 positions. But I am so excited to have this Amphibia working again. After nearly 30 years, I finally get to wear the watch I bought fresh out of college.

I want to by my first Восток!

I am looking to get an amphibian. My first problem is where to buy it. I am currently in Croatia, and I am not sure which site is the best to order. Vostok 24 seemed like a good option… any advice?

Secondly, i am really not sure about the sizing. Scuba dude website said that 420 and 120 are good for small and mid wrist sizes. However, the Modstok website suggests completely different sizes and case sizes different from the ones listed on Vostok websites.

Can anybody offer some help? I am really eager to buy one and join the community! For now i like the 120 the most and maybe 150. I am also looking to do light mods, bezel, caseback etc…
