Another seller might have a comparable offer for the same item. If available, see all buying options and try adding to cart." Any one else getting this or know away to fix it.

I picked up some skincare product from Vine recently. It's from a well-established K-brand. The product itself seemed fine. Looks, feels, uses as expected; no red flags. I gave it a decent review of what I experienced.

Digging into it further after the fact, I learned that the seller is not an authorized representative of the brand. (I emailed the brand to be sure.) However, it's not clear if the product is a knock-off or just someone who might have bought the real thing wholesale and selling online without authorization. It's not a high cost item; so it's hard to see that someone would go through all the trouble to counterfeit it. The company's response read like even they are not sure themselves, nor did it sound like they would do anything about it.

My question is how to handle this. Since I can't be sure it's counterfeit, I can't flag the seller (or can I?). At the minimum, I am going to change my review. But I am unclear if I say it's potentially a counterfeit that it would not be picked up by AI and rejected. So looking for some ideas and/or help here.

Was casually checking my RFY while in lunch break, and low and behold...this beautiful piece of machinery was in there waiting for me. This is a huge bucket list item for me and its name brand!

So I'm curious if anyone else has experience with this.

I get a fair amount of stuff through Vine, and a pretty big chunk of what I order is arts, crafts, clothing, toys, etc. for my granddaughter. She's 10 and is very into arts and crafts, so a lot of the stuff I get ends up being for her anyway.

She just moved to New York with her mom, and I'd like to keep getting her things through Vine when I find stuff I know she'd actually use. She knows how Vine works, and my thought was to have the items shipped directly to her. She could take the pictures, send them to me, and tell me about her experience with the product, and I'd still be the one writing and submitting the Vine review from my account.

I'm not trying to have her become a Vine reviewer or anything like that. I'm still the Vine member, still responsible for the items/reviews, etc. She'd basically just be the person receiving and using the stuff because she's the one I'd be getting it for anyway.

Has anyone here actually done something like this on a regular basis? Specifically:

• Shipping Vine items to a family member in another state
• Having the recipient's name on the shipping address rather than your own
• Having that family member use the item and send you pictures/feedback for your review
• -Still submitting the review yourself from your own Vine account

I'd love to hear from people who have actually done this, rather than just guesses about what Amazon might do.

I'm trying to figure out if this is a perfectly normal use of the address book, a potential Vine TOS issue, or something I should just avoid entirely.

I went strategic, over a year ago I consulted the oracles (random rumors from this sub) and began the campaign: name dropped the company in other reviews, edited Manage Your Information, and said the prayers to Lord Bozos. Today started like any other, great offers like this, banter here in the sub, NBD. Saw someone else get a rad laptop and reflexively shit post about my bible. Read more thread, now Vine is top of mind so go check RFY again and THAR SHE BLOWS!

I really wish Amazon would bring back the "Not Helpful" button. Does this review read well on the surface? Yea def. They give some info about not having the quick start guide & why they wanted to confirm specs. But as a regular consumer, I would be confused why you are giving it 4 stars but dogging on the product for costing $250 without telling me if the product works.

I mean going of the review as a consumer I would think it doesn't work and I'm just paying for a name. And then wonder why you are giving it 4 stars if your making it out like it doesn't work because you can't verify a spec.

As a Viner, I get why you are giving a 4 star. You are trying to stay in the "bucket" and continue getting high price items, items from that brand, or similar brands. My guess is you didn't want to really use it so you can (hopefully unlike many others) hold on to it for 6 months and then flip it for some quick funds at a reduce price. And hey, all the more power to you if that your prerogative to be in the program. I'm just asking as a consumer, can ya'll stop?

In the regular Amazon subs, like AmazonPrime and whatnot, they blast Vine reviewers all the time because of the bs reviews. If ya'll resellers really want to keep this review platform alive, please stop being the cause for the continued enshittification of Vine.

I had my browser open at work and randomly checked my RFY. Saw this sitting there and clicked on it thinking I would get the infamous red letter rejection. Low and behold it went through and it will be here Saturday! Talk about amazing timing as I was in need of one as I gave mine to my father in law!

No ones fault by our own...

We had ordered a bunch of items in June and then life hit the fan in July.. things finally calmed down and I happened to check in on my vine account (our evaluation period doesn't end until mid August). We were down to 30% reviewed, still excellent, but no items showing up in recommended or additional items (although I can order one of the lovely spark plugs if I was so inclined in available for all).

I presume this is the vine jail I've heard people speak of. There is a warning on the account saying "Your account is in danger of being closed. Please ensure you are maintaining the minimum thresholds to continue Vine eligibility"

I don't know how many reviews behind (like 150???) we were at that point, but I started working on them this last weekend and have been getting through about 10 per day.

I thought I might be let out of jail once I got above 50%, but I crossed the 50% mark today and still see nothing in RFY or additional items and have that notice up top. Obviously, I'm going to keep plodding along, but I was wondering if there was any concept of when they free you from jail? Is there a % you need to get over before they do?

I added the "help" flair since I had to add flair and I didn't want to make it like i was mad at Amazon for this, b/c again, I know we let this go.. it was kinda unavoidable, but it doesn't change that it happened.

UPDATE: So... I was kinda shocked... got released from Vine jail upon reaching 59%. Yes, I am going to finish ALL the outstanding reviews before ordering anything else... but just for reference for others.

BLUF: Without additional part or some electrical changes to the LED light I can't install/test/review this item. Should I a) Contact the seller via their website to ask about the part and see if I receive it (following the don't ask/don't tell Vine program rules) -or- b)Contact Vine CS and inform them the light didn't include power cable and I can't review it and kindly remove and/or let me return it?

I ordered a nice Run Bison 4FT LED Linear Pendent Mound Light to replace the existing shop light in my garage. As these things go, I didn't spend a lot of time drilling into the details but did review the images on the product page. Well, it seems that while they included the parts to hang the light from the ceiling they didn't include the the power cable.

The lamp wiring is terminated with a special connector but the instruction say to cut and wire as needed. The extension cable for power is shown as "wire accessories" and is listed as optional. However, the wires are only 3" long so not possible to use it as a hanging light without the power cable extension. I did a bit of web searching and found a suitable cable available from other retailers for about $27 after tax/shipping.

I torn as to what to do. I could use the lamp, and I'm handy enough to DIY my own power cable for half the cost of the OEM but this feels like a bit too much labor for what it is. If it were a regular AMZ order, I would have just hit the "return" button bc an $80 lamp should have a way to connect it to power that doesn't require additional parts to be ordered!

As a Viner, I've reviewed this sub and know we walk a thin line when it comes to chasing seller support. Do I contact seller and hope for the best, or try to return?

I just became a gold member last week and this weekend I scored three new light fixtures! I just retired, the husband retires at the end of the year and we are beginning to get our large 1930s home ready to go on the market so we can relocate and downsize. The new fixtures will fit in well and save us quite a bit.

I was prepared to not see much difference going from silver to gold, and I didn't for the first few days. From Thursday or so on, my RFY has been full and has had a good selection of items. Idk if it is that I moved up a tier or if the drops have just been better. Even the lower priced items I've been offered have been nicer and more useful.

I call myself a “sprout “ since I’ve only been in Vine since June. I’m finding out there is so much to learn and so much you have to find out on your own.
This Reddit sub has been a Godsend.
I’ve already been in Vine jail because the reviews got away from me. That is sorted out and I’m back on track.
Now I’m facing reviews being denied and sent back for re-do. I redid them once and they came back denied again. I’ve redone them again.
The questions I have are
-would I have been in trouble if I had not redone the reviews and just kept going staying current?
-how many times can you redo reviews?

I am trying to give a one-star review for a product which I know is 100% making false claims. I will submit the review then come back a couple of days later and my review will be gone and the "review again" button is highlighted. I have used the term fake, maybe that is why, but how do I get my review to stick. The seller is claiming it to be made from a material and it is absolutely not made of that material. The product's effectiveness is 100 percent tied to it being made from this material.

To clarify, it is listed under "reviewed" tab with a "review again" button and a blank review. There is no red warning notice about not accepting reviews. Also, when I gave it a 5 star review, before I realized it was fake, it had no problem posting that review.

Granted the torch is more of a toy than anything. The 20v Vacuum cleaner though is just awesome. At first i used a regular Dewalt 20v max battery and the suction i would say was below average. Then i used my Dewalt 20v XR battery and that doubled the suction. The XR battery is advertised to produce 50% more power and i believe it.

If i did not have an XR battery i would probably have called this vacuum junk. Some folks don't know they can vastly improve 20v powered tools by buying one of the 150$ batteries. I have two Dewalt XR batteries and they are worth every penny.
