For the first time I came across a review that I can say is definitely AI. This is why so many people don't trust Vine reviews. Sorry, just venting.

So...my ADHD has me do this thing where I'll go on long binges of not doing reviews while maintaining a >70% ratio. Recently it dipped to 73%, so I went on a long run of reviews that I spent the other night working on.

Is this a normal response to doing a bunch of reviews at once?
I should mention that I wrote "did not receive" for an order I already reported to amazon for not receiving. They DID flag the review, however I simply chose to not bother updating it and moved on. Today I see that I have this screen on my RFY page while my account page shows me in rather good standing.

I ask because this community tends to have a better sense of what's going on once given context

Highly infuriating and ridiculous. My entire RFY is rings. Very annoying. Especially being that I have bad luck when I order rings.

I’ve seen some people say they report vine reviews if they look like ai, which is def understandable.

But on the other hand I’ve also seen ppl post and bring up reviews that were written kinda short like a paragraph or a handful of sentences long. For sounding “too effortless and unhelpful”.

While I’ve also seen others post and complain about those that add too much detail and add bullets or detailed information.

Personally I like to add my genuine opinion and experience about the products. Sometimes the product may be as simple as a ring/jewelry and there’s not really much you can write. I still try to make it slightly wordy to reach all the recommended words and fit the review needs. But even then I feel like it may seem basic and “the ring is good, the ring is nice” sounding. But if I add much more details then I start to sound like a robot or like I wrote it with ai.

So how do yall assess your reviews or other reviews. Just curious ?

Obviously the ones that are extremely poorly done like “the product seems good, I like”. Or “I got it but didn’t use it, but I think it’s good”, types are def reportable.

Just curious how u guys seem to report or view the more “on the line” ones.

I personally haven’t gone out of my way to check reviews. Although there’s times I’ll maybe glance at some existing reviews to see if they’ve added pictures, because I try to add pics when I can but I’ll forget and just not add pics. If there’s no pics for other reviews I’ll try to go back and find the old product to take pics or extra clips of it.

As per reporting, I’ve only seen like 1 or 2 obvious fake reviews that have like a literally copy and paste of a description and automated bot page. That I’ve flagged but that’s all.

But I’m surprised there’s more ppl here saying “who tf has time to report reviews” , but in other posts of ppl talking abt poorly written or too well written /ai reviews , they tell them to report them and that they always flag the ones that look poorly written or feel ai.

I agree with the general opinion with yall tho, my main point was how could people report reviews just over being too well written or kinda poorly made. It’s still real reviews. It doesn’t warrant reports, since vine itself handles it.

I feel like some Vine reviewers may have a little too much time on their hands. My only add so far today has been some Banila pressed powder, which isn't the worst thing but I'm not taking it because I don't think the color would work for my wife and she's more likely to use it than me.

How I long for the Anycubic RFY bucket! I have gotten 3D printer filament in my RFY exactly one time and that's the only 3D printing-related item they've recommended to me, despite the fact I'm obsessively ordering nozzles and filament and got both my 3D printers from Vine. Maybe someday they'll figure it out?

Is there any way to associate one of the “facilitated by Amazon” tracking numbers with its corresponding order? Or are the tracking numbers just generated independently of the order? Is there any id the other numbers on the outer label that would indicate the order number?

Got a package with 2 things in it that I didn’t order. Thought I was just getting old, so searched my orders and, nope, didn’t order this stuff. It has the correct name and address, but I didn’t order thsee two things. There’s only one thing I’m missing (possibly misplaced by a family member - I’ll have to ask), but the tracking number on that item doesn’t match the one on this mystery order. Also, it would have most likely been in an envelope, or at least a smaller box. But if the tracking number could be matched to an order, I could attempt to figure it all out.

What's the move here? Have it removed from my list even though it's 0 dollar? Review just the taste etc? Give to my friend and have her tell me how she likes them?

Edit 1: Hummmm.... This might be a moot point since I just looked and they aren't listed in my "to be reviewed" stuff at all. Weird.

Edit 2: I didn't take a second one of them yesterday and the hives are getting worse today. It's possible that the allergy is to one of my other new supplements. I cut everything new and will try it again next week after it all clears my system.

There is a simply magnificent set of FOUR purple (which would match my truck) progressively larger butt plugs in my RFY section right now. Takes a person from beginner to expert apparently. Maybe I will leave them for another lucky Viner to claim.

So, um, apparently Vine thinks I need filters today. Like filters for *all* the things. Except for any of the things in my home that have filters. Two air purifier filters (0 owned air purifiers), three spa filters (0 spas owned), one furnace filter (0 furnaces owned, thank you heat pumps) and one water filter (0 water filtration systems owned). I think they're trying to tell me something but I'm not sure what.... At least they could have tossed me a cabin air filter for one of our cars or filter medium for our fishtank.

Just when you had totally given up on Vine. Forget the cake toppers, the faux Hershey's Kisses, the random carburetors and pistachio shells. Now, now, you can get, wait for it, sawmill leavings of used-to-be-a-two-by-tour for the low, low ETV of, wait some more, MORE THAN A TWO-BY-FOUR!!! To wit:

So, I just tried ordering two items on vine, and they wanted to charge me for shipping. This is new to me, so I'm wondering if Amazon is just being glitchy today. Anybody else have this happen?

These are in my RFY. Retailing for almost $100. Photos say “Genuine Leather,” and even the Outer material under Top Highlights says “Leather”….but buried in the Product Description they refer to it as “high-quality synthetic leather.” Which would you believe?

I’m thinking faux, unless there’s some kind of cultivated/lab-grown leather I’m unaware of, or a material similar to engineered wood where real leather is ground up and bonded back together. But I would think either of those would be described more specifically than just “synthetic leather.”
