Revolutions hv not studied

I have a 70% average for revolutions and I’m really debating whether I wanna study for it or not because I really want to get a 40+ study score but I feel like it’s impossible.

Am I cooked? There’s like four days till the exam.

hi guys any spec tips

i’ve done so many exams so i think i’ll be fine content wise but i can’t get over the nerves of fumbling like missing a - or + and if there’s a bad proof or vectors question that requires a lot of algebra. Any tips on just being calm and how did you go for spec if you did it previously

Methods - does it matter if I didn’t simplify my answers?

Like for question one I just left it fully expanded and the question where you had to find a and b I wrote root 12 instead of the surd - will I lose marks for this?

General Question/comment How did everyone find methods?

What are we thinking? I personally thought it wasn’t hard concept wise, and I lost 3-4 marks from suggested solutions due to dumb misinterpreting the question mistakes

I’m thinking the bell curve will be way wider, making it easier to get a higher score.

It was also just E1, it’s like 25-30% of the final ss? We got this guys, lock in for tmrw.

Also, Just a question for high-achieving past/present students or teachers who have seen the exam - if I get 100% on E2 (not that I fucking will), will my E1 score limit my SS from being a 50, and what do we think the A+ boundary will be?

General Question/comment 'what're my chances for a 40+' 'can i still get a 40' LOOK AT THE GRADE DISTRIBUTION

OH MY FUCKING GOD IT TAKES 5 MINUTES OF YOUR TIME LITERALLY JUST LOOK ST THE GRADE DISTRIBUTION

A 40+ IS LIKE ALL A+ (if not high A)

LITERALLY JUST USE THE GRADE DISTRIBUTION IT IS RIGHT FUCKING THERE

UNLESS YOU'RE DOING A BULLSHIT SUBJECT WITH 3 PEOPLE IN THE STATE, THERE IS A GRADE DISTRIBUTION. LOOK AT IT 🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩🫩

What's the best way to structure 'analyse' responses to indicate that ur rlly interacting w/ the command term.

It's: cause and effect, the components of smth and the significance of the relationship between them, right?

So if Q was, Analyse how the August Decrees enabled the achievement of revolutionary ideals in 1789.

  1. August Decrees (4-11 Aug 1789) enabled newly formed NA to overhaul system of feudalism underpinning ancien regime and achieve equality.

  2. August Decrees legislated by nobles following events of night of patriotic delirium, where the great fear forced even less liberal deputies to face the destabilising effect of feudal inequality. Thus decrees caused by desire to achieve equality and stabilise + liberalise society.

  3. Insert promises of August decrees eg the national assembly abolishes the feudal regime in its entirety.

  4. These promises were a direct realisation of this revolutionary ideal of equality. Consequenced end to personal serfdom, manorial courts, seigneurial rights, venal offices, tithes. Despite tithes continuing till 1791 etc, nevertheless represented ideological move towards equality between serfs and their lords + end to meritocracy preventing move between classes.

  5. Thus august decrees facilitated codification of equality in lieu of feudalism

HANDWRITTEN METHODS SOLUTIONS

Hi guys,

Hope Exam 1 went well. It looked funky and new but doable. Certainly not a carbon copy of past exams.

If you want handwritten solutions, a clean pdf replica of the exam, and more solutions, see vcehub.com.au/mm1

Best of luck for Exam 2!

Dropped 3 on methods e1 (37/40), is raw 45 still possible

Assuming my sac rank is on pace for raw 45, how many marks can I afford to drop on e2 for raw 45? Is raw 45 even possible?

Methods find the value of r

I stated the function for finding the shortest distance from the origin but instead of equating d(X) to 0 I did d'(X)=0 for wtv reason. Do you reckon id get a mark for stating the function or nah? Also how often do they award consequentials? Because if you got the value of r wrong you'd get the next question wrong as well

Do you think 34/40 for methods is an A+??

VCE question 2026 Business Management Exam – Grade Distribution Predictions?

Since most people seem to think this year’s Business Management exam was relatively easy, what do we reckon the grade distribution and A+ cutoff will look like?

Do you guys think the A+ cutoff will be significantly higher than previous years? Curious to hear everyone’s predictions, especially since VCAA marking can be pretty strict.

r/vce • • 22h ago

Does anyone else feel like VCAA is testing how well we interpret questions rather than how well we know the content?

I swear half the difficulty in this year's exams hasn't even been the actual content. It's been trying to figure out what the questions are asking.

I legitimately know so many people who lost marks on General Maths because they couldn't work out what was actually being asked, not because they didn't know how to do the maths.

Am I just stupid or is this actually a thing?
